Read a review of someone claiming this was the best indian they had tasted. We were in a hotel 5 mins away where the food was rotten so called and tried balti Stan. I can honestly say the best indian I've ever tasted. Service was impeccable. Seriously you need to check this out. Just wish they had one in Glasgow Well done guy's thoroughly enjoyed

I am not sure how much passing trade this place attracts. You could easily be forgiven for driving past as it doesn't look too promising from the outside, sadly that would be your loss. The photos of the inside speak for themselves but pleasant surroundings aside, the food is what makes this place. On our Monday night visit we couldn't find fault with anything unless you think too big a portion is a fault. The service was excellent, the result was we had a great night here. Slightly pricey but well worth it.

Always enjoy going to Baltistan Indian Restaurant. Today we went for a Sunday Buffet. Lots of choices to choose from. The staff are extremely friendly and I highly recommend going here for a curry. They also offer takeaways 😍😍😍😍

First time back for a couple of years and just as good as it always was. Staff are excellent, professional and friendly. Variety of food is excellent and all four of us ate hearty tasty meals. Friday evening so it was busy but staff ensured great service. Recommended.

Absolutely disgusting, chicken tikka masala is basically red coloured chicken korma, the person taking the order didn't even have the decency to explain that, chicken pakoras came swimming in the oil they were fried in, for just under £4 a portion for the samosas they were tiny, the biryani was very dry, you'd think a garlic naan would have garlic in it and it does everywhere except here, they just brush some garlic flavoured butter on, the "stuffed" paranta came with nothing stuffed in it. These fake hype reviews got me again but it's the first n last time I waste money on this business

Mother's Day post rugby treat Standard Sunday Buffet menu, so not ripped off on price. Wife is sensitive to spicy so could have done with another mild option for her. All dishes tasting as they should, the advertised hot lamb curry, was indeed. I thought that was the best dish on. The chicken starters were cooked to perfection with the real oven and spice tastes. Poppadoms and pickles completed a great eat. Service is as always excellent 👍

6 of us went to Sunday afternoon buffet. It was excellent, plenty of choice, no restrictions on quantity. The staff were amazing.... Attentive, helpful and very friendly. I'd go again tomorrow; but unfortunately it's Monday.

Had a lovely welcome and made at home. Nothing was too much for the staff. The food was cooked to perfection. The prices are in line with other restaurants. The atmosphere was very good and comfortable. None of this push to get you out after the meal.

We’ve been patrons 30 years. Without a doubt this just is the No 1 🥇in Lancashire. Never fails to please The bar & restaurant staff and the owner are top class. The Chefs & Kitchen staff are always excellent. The cuisine , always authentic, is to perfection- e v e r y time. We have tried many others - but always returned so only go here now ( often!) Gets a 10 from us. Thank you.

The meals we had were very nice, large portions, staff attentive and friendly, we were both nearly full after the starter so we only ate a small amount of our meals and the staff were happy to put the rest in a doggy bag, but when we looked later it was clear not all the curry had been put in the containers, I'd say they left out half of my Chicken Madras and half his chicken Oval, it was worth the £40 bill for the amount we received at the table but very disappointed at what we had at home.

Booked in advance and advised of slight allergy to large quantities of drinking-milk (non-alcohol-drinker) that was totally cured by bringing my own. After: cleaning, dressing, taxi and arrival... They told me that my large meal would not make it profitable enough with these details, then asked me to leave their shop. So, no more large parties there, no more good word of mouth to the thousands of residents in Hyndburn, friends or family. Will never ever encourage good word of mouth for them EVER again. Client since 1989. Severly ill for 5yrs and forgotten now the cash isn't enough. Do YOU Really Want to Give THESE People Your Money?

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and was not disappointed. The takeaway went down a treat during European football night. Delicious food and will definitely order here again!

Absolutely disgusting!! Tasteless food me & my partner are also unwell today with an upset tummy. 🤢 thought we would give it a try due to the reviews. We'll keep to our original takeaway cinnamon spice in the future.

Absolutely Disgusting Lamb was Tough as an Old Boot and the taste of the Curry Sauce was Awful Terrible at the recent price increases I expected a lot lot better meal for my money I have had better Microwave Meals Very Very Disappointed my Wife’s meal was a little better but not great , think it was last nights left overs !!!

Food is good, but charging full adult price of £14.95 for Sunday buffet for a 10 year old is out of order, Drinks are very expensive too..

I've not had a takeaway in some time and this is the first time in a long time I've not been disappointed. I've not eaten at Balti Stan for several years and after moving to the area I tried it for a Saturday night takeaway. It was delicious! We ordered a Chicken Tikka Madras and a Chicken Tikka Karahi with Garlic Naans. I couldn't fault it. The sauce was plentiful and not watery, the chicken was good quality thick pieces really well cooked. The naan bread was good sized, not burnt or under cooked. I also ordered a Balti Special starter that was delicious. It cost a total of £30 exactly which I thought was good value for money. I'm looking forward to going back and trying something different.

Hair on my chips which was uncooked, chicken very hard and cold, as I am typing this it is the situation I am in, order turned up as said but very poor on food, sauce for curry turned up in 3 little sauce tubs which were very cold aswel

For the extra expense compared to others in the area-I was expecting better as dining indoors is enjoyable, unfortunately, I was so disappointed. The food was delivered within the hour, but everything was cold. Perhaps if the bag was tied up then so heat may have been retained. On the plus side, the quality of the food was good.

Ordered from here as thought it was the best Indian around but turned out to be freezing cold, boring and had no spice in it at all. Wouldn’t recommend, it was awful

Shocking curries and shocking behaviour out of the so called owner tonight You just lost a loyal customer after the disgusting slop you produced tonight. And then to have a bad attitude down the phone pretending to be the owner is pathetic beyond words. You couldn't run a race let alone a business. Hairs in the curries and a piece of tin foil microwaved chicken uncooked onion bhajjis this could have been dealt with properly but your attitude about the hole situation has now prompted me to get in touch with foods standards and the council. Disgusting place ! £51 in the bin !

Absolutely shocking, I have ordered takeaways and eaten meals here for decades. Today was possibly the worst meal I have eaten, xmas dinner all veg really hard not cooked properly paid £35 or a terrible dinner, and the most disgusting thing was to charge £43 for 2 portions of chicken nuggets and chips for the kids absolutely scandalous. The kids didn't even enjoy it and seeing as the adults paid good money then the children's meals should have been a couple of quid. I will never eat here again.

We haven't been to the Balti Stan for around 21 years, since having children, not getting out as much, so we decided to go again, for a change. It did not disappoint!! The staff are still there, so friendly and welcoming. With a lovely waitress too. When the owners recognise you and welcome you after all that time, it felt very special. The food was absolutely spot on, proper curry, just what we needed. Huge portions and a decent price. I would highly recommend this restaurant...We will definitely visit again soon, worth the taxi fares as we live out of town..Thankyou to you all..

Last minute decision to have food out. Not been in a while, but was not disappointed. I asked for something off the menu and it was not too much trouble. Fantastic food and brilliant welcoming staff! We won't leave it so long next time!

In Blackburn for a few days and wanted an escape from our hotel. Bloody lovely food and lots of it. Great value for money and really, really great service. 7 very happy people.. 👌🏻

We went for dinner (25/8/21) after a previous excellent meal some time ago. This visit was a dreadful experience. Poppadoms were served immediately and we enjoyed them. We then waited for nearly an hour and a half for our food to (not) arrive. We were told several times that it was 'just coming'. It wasn't and it didn't. We left and explained why we were doing so. We were told in an arrogant manner that we should have known that they were busy. NO. They should have told us how busy they were and we could then have chosen to stay or go somewhere else. Never again.
