Easily the best marine fish shop in the North West, travel an hour each way to get my fish as they are always high quality and competitively priced. Reserve fish for you upon request, and a lovely community feel about the place. Staff always give great advice and offer a bru as you browse to top it off. Tanks full of livestock and shop really clean, thank you Kraken😁

Superb marine store with a brilliant array of fish, coral and dry goods. I bought two really lovely looking wrasse and a few walling hammers, which were all well priced. The guy that served me was really friendly and helpful. I always buy my dry goods from them online due to their large stock and cheap prices, with delivery also being reasonable for smaller orders and free for the larger orders.

I can't recommend Kraken Corals highly enough. It is a small store near Blackburn just off Jct. 7 on the M65. They have a great selection of corals and some nice fish, all strong and healthy as they should be but the best thing about this place is the staff. They are, without exception, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable people who are interested in what they do. If you're used to retailers who first and foremost want to separate you from your debit card, Kraken Corals will restore your faith. They actually discouraged me from buying fish for a while after I imported a disease through fish bought from a Stockport Supplier and lost four of them within two weeks . It was good advice from Kraken and that is what you can expect every time. In short it's a great place to buy and to learn, with great people who take the trouble to get to know you and your tank, they are keen to be helpful and see no value in letting their customers spend money unnecessarily. They are aquarists trying hard to make a living by doing what they enjoy and do really well. Such a refreshing change from dealing with unhelpful people who so cynically just exploit the hobbyists they claim to support.

Beautiful fish shop that specialises in marine fish. They do sell some amazing tanks too. The staff are very helpful and really know their stuff. They have a wide range of marine fish available at reasonable prices. My little boy loved seeing the fish that they had.

So i ordered a AI prime 16hd light on 18th February and delivery was supposed to be the 24th this light arrived on the 21st which was an absolute bonus as I was using the kessil a80 when it arrived like anybody who loves marine it was like a toy at Christmas. I unwrapped it excited to get it on the tank one power lead was wrong so gave the lads a call and were willing to replace or refund what it cost for a new one. But I managed to find the same lead about the house and get the light up and running. These guys are polite and willing to do whatever it takes to make there customers happy. I can not fault them. I live stoke on trent and this place is a fair distance away after looking at photos of there shop and stock I want to visit but for the hassle which wasn't really hassle it was a minor mistake they have offered me some freebies I can see me using these guys thank you for your time and thank you for a beautiful light that makes a massive difference to my tank 😊 keep up the good work and see you soon Kind regards Steven durber

I have ordered off another retailer and had a dreadful service by probably the rudest guy I have come across however kraken corals have restored my faith in online ordering there communication is spot on had I slight issue with my order my fault not there’s rang them up and the guy I spoke to was polite and helpful and sorted issue out my order turned up today well packaged brilliant service kraken thank you

Quite a small shop but with a decent selection of coral and fish. We were offered a cup of coffee while we walked around which I thought was a nice touch. The prices were on par with other marine shops that we have visited in the area. The tanks and the shop were clean and the staff were friendly, it's worth a visit if you're close by.

Twice now they have failed to return my calls to place an order. Back in March I rang twice about ordering a skimmer (about £800) but nobody rang back. Took my business elsewhere. This week again hit and miss communications about an order of rock worth £400, they completely forgot about it at one point, so took my business elsewhere. I don't chase people to spend my money with. What a shame!

Amazing establishment, staff are top notch lads. Knowledge of the hobby is unbeatable. Hot chocolate isn't bad too. 100% would recommend to anyone just starting in the hobby or experience to visit.

I was recommended this shop after inheriting a marine tank. I've been to quite a few in the area, but I can say that this one is spot on with fish, corals and equipment. I'm a novice and I've mithered them with various advice and they've always been happy to help and give me the best advice.

They were good until things went wrong. Ordered some dosing pumps that didn’t work. The manufacturer agreed they weren’t working properly so asked to return. Over 2 weeks later and still not refunded me. Had to chase several times and always seems to be an excuse. Will be contacting my card company to get my money back now. Not a company I will recommend to anyone

I tried to buy 3 different torch corals online From Finest Aquatics and Kraken (same ownership BTW) Every single time they phoned me up on the afternoon the coral was meant to be dispatched to cancel Reason Torch 1 had melted, Torch 2 weren’t happy to send Torch 3 they had sold it in their shop Why advertise corals for sale on your website if you can’t sell them?! I have never had an experience like this as a customer in my life before now. I still haven’t purchased anything from them and won’t bother trying again What a waste of time

Really nice guys who were in the shop when me and my partner were observing the tanks. We are at the start of our journey in terms of aquariums and they were so helpful even offering us a coffee and being super interactive with the marine livestock.

Have used these guys for a while now for practically all my marine dry goods, nearly always have everything I need! Parcels are packaged well (always enjoy receiving new sticks for the collection) and the minimum spend for free delivery is very reasonable! Would like to visit the store in person one day. All in all, would recommend!

Visited Kraken yesterday. The guys are really friendly and knowledgeable and always make you feel welcome. Steve is a coral encyclopaedia, you can pick his brain while browsing lots of gorgeous fish and corals and they make you a brew! Kracken isn’t local to me but it’s always well worth the journey, came away with some cracking corals. Always enjoy visiting, will definitely be back again soon.

Very knowledgeable on marine fish and coral, the shop looks amazing. They allowed me and my daughters to look around and gave me a tour with information on all the animals. They also gave me a price to begin a first salt water tank, which is useful for when I plan to start.

Made my first online order with Kraken for some rock and a light bracket and I can't fault them at all,the products were very carefully wrapped and delivered very very fast...even a few free sweets thrown in the box which didn't last long ha ha....First class service,absolutely kraken....will be back for sure👍

They are in the middle of referb but still had some great stock and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Only ordered on line, everything has turned up damage free, opened up my new uv sterilizer to find some sweets in the box. No complaints.
