As with most private bowling clubs this one has a nice green that is well maintained, though it's not without the usual kind of challenges, found on most greens. When I played on it recently we had, had a few days rain so it if anything one would have expected it to be running fairly heavy and slow. However, this wasn't the case and so I would suspect, in dry weather and particularly after a cut, this is a very fast green. There are good facilities, including shelter, should the weather change for the worse. There is also a licensed bar. Club members are a friendly bunch and I would highly recommend a visit.

Rude staff who only value members and treat everyone else as worthless - we were told to be quiet as members would start arriving soon and could get agitated. (please bare in mind we were there for a wake so there was NO compassion, nor any respect for the huge amount of money spent by us that day) all in the name of a member who came in and had two pints and left.

Nice little club. Tidy plenty of tables and chairs and a dance floor. Outdoor area for smoking. outdoor and undercover. Nice polite staff.

I’m No Bowling person I’m a social drinker. This is a safe place to come and drink and I like to bring the kids to sit and feel safe sat down with no idiots. If you want a decent place to have a drink,feel safe with reasonable prices this is the place to be.
