Really wanted to like this place as I love Chinese Food. First time ordering and this place let me down. I ordered Pork Chow Mein and there was no noodles. Only pure onions, bean sprouts.. I ordered orange beef and it was bad.. it was soggy/flavorless. $40 down the drain. Would not recommend. Cache Valley is in need of a good Chinese restaurant. Hate to say but Panda is the only decent place out here.

These guys are awesome. Food is good 👍 Service is great, because these guys are awesome. Place could use a good thorough cleaning though.

The Golden Jade restaurant is a very nice place. Looking at it from the outside doesn't do it justice. It is a quiet place with personal service. The staff is friendly and professional. The food is delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for tasty Chinese food. The cost is nominal when compared with the quality and quantity of food served in their meal. They have lunch specials for under $7.00. So the next time you're in the Cache valley near Hyrum, Utah, stop in and give them a try.

So we have been here since it opened several years ago. Upon opening, it was great. Then for about 2 or 3 years, the quality had dropped and it was fair. Then the original owners had ( I guess) a family member run the place and it was not the best. In the last 4 months, someone else has stepped in and the quality has returned.

Honestly, I was a bit nervous about this place. Reviews were only so so. I was boating with my family at nearby Hyrum reservoir. We asked the park ranger what she thought. She did not want to say anything bad about a local place, but was a bit hesitant to give a recommendation. Our only other non-fast food choice nearby was a Mexican restaurant, also an unknown, and we were more in the mood for Chinese. As we drove up, the building did not inspire confidence. When we entered about 7:30 on a Wednesday, we were the only customers. We grabbed our own menus and seated ourselves down at a not-very-comfortable table. The only two employees started to serve us, but I began to think that we should have gone to McDonalds. That would have been a big mistake. Our order was taken quickly. There were six of us, and we ordered soup, appetizers and and six entrees to share. Everything was excellent. Portions were generous. Everything was hot and cooked fresh to order. Crab cheese wontons were a highlight. Chicken dishes (sweet and sour, orange) were lightly breaded, moist and sauces were not heavy. I am typically not a fan of sweet and sour pork, as it is usually dry and chewy, but my father likes it. This dish had big tender chunks, also lightly breaded. Happy family was savory and both the meats and vegetables were perfectly cooked. Pork fried rice often has just small bits of port. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned, eggs and vegetables were generous, but the pork was over the top. Lots of big pieces of thinly sliced char shu. Price was very reasonable. Our party of six left stuffed and with left-overs for under $100. ($120 with tip) Overall, the Golden Jade was shockingly good and dramatically exceeded my expectations. I will definitely return when I am in the area.

For a small town Chinese place I have had much worse. We really like sweet n sour pork and the Szechuan Beef. We have always had good experiences with the Lo Mein as well. The employee who always works the counter is great as well always super nice!

Very convenient, preorder you food online and use the drive through to pick it up 15 min later.

It's a decent enough place -- the food is filling, even if the meal I got was a little salty, and I've got a friend who swears by their sushi. You can definitely feel the small-town vibes, though, and the table I sat at was violently sticky. I dunno man, they're kind of nostalgic for me -- I ADORED their potstickers as a kid -- but right now it just doesn't feel like it did, if that makes any sense.

The food here has always been good. Usually there is enough for lunch the next day. We usually get the lo main definitely the best in the valley for take out.

I only got the 2 egg rolls and an order of won tons. The egg rolls tasted like either the meat or cabbage had gone bad. And the won tons were ok. But they definitely were over cooked. I would not eat here again.
