Found this comedy gem during my first visit to Tokyo! Check them out!! This was such a cool experience bc they did improv comedy games in Japanese & English. I don’t know japanese but it was still cool to see how comedy is universal. Entry ticket price was economically priced — the ticket even includes a free a drink! Great global and local team of improvisers — had a great sound system for the musical improv and talented keyboardist. Fun games for the audience to participate in and can win additional free drinks or prizes. Can’t stress enough how this is hands down a unique experience for the Tokyo comedy scene of Japan.

Fantastic improv show. Entertaining. Witty. And a good crowd. If you’re looking for a fun night out in Tokyo, Pirates are your guys (and gals).

This show is so much fun and great for Japanese locals and English speaking tourists alike. The Pirates of Tokyo Bay have mastered the bilingual comedy show. The theatre space is great too! The entire improv show was cleaver and the comedians are superb. Add in that everyone was so welcoming and nice and this is a must see comedy show.

I went there with a foreign friend. I wasn't expecting much, but I really enjoyed it! English and Japanese are switched for each section, and the Japanese is explained in detail, so I think even people who are not very good at English will enjoy it. The performance was a long one, lasting about two and a half hours, but it was all improvised, so I was able to enjoy it without getting bored. After the lecture, you can have a frank drink with the speakers. I would definitely like to go again.

Didn't understand Japanese but still found it hilarious. You will definitely be feeding of their infectious energy for sure. Would recommend if you are looking for a comedy scene in Tokyo.

Pirates of Tokyo Bay is a force. Their performance is energetic, sincere and creative. You will leave the show inspired and with a tired jaw from laughing. We really enjoy their show and energy. A must see when you are in Tokyo 🥳❤️

One time a rabbit dropped its phone. That rabbit was sold by its humans to a wizard in exchange for a job, but the wizard decided to let them keep the rabbit too. Very nice.

So much fun! The show includes people from the audience without being intrusive both in English and Japanese. I laughed so much and I would recommend it.

The show was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of it. The MC did an outstanding job of creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The troupe featured two Japanese improvisers who showcased remarkable acting skills and came up with incredibly engaging lines. The performance seamlessly flowed in both Japanese and English. If you happen to be bilingual, you're in for an absolute treat. However, even if you don't understand Japanese, it won't hinder your enjoyment one bit!

We were fortunate enough to watch their last show of 2023. Brilliant lineup of performers who are culturally savvy with intelligent humour and most importantly, hilarious! We watched a bilingual show (English/Japanese) and Pirates of Tokyo Bay facilitated it really well that even non-Japanese speakers could also get in on the fun. Definitely catch them wherever they are in the world.
