2022/6/10若冲と京の美術展を観に伺いました。 事前に来館時間の予約をとるシステムがあり、10:30-11:00の間に来館する予約を取っていきました。来館時間の予約をすると、手持ちのスマホ等の予約画面を見せる事で駐車場も無料になります。 若冲の名に惹かれて足を運びましたが、細川コレクションと言って収集された方の審美眼といいますか、体系的に美術に触れ歴史を感じる素晴らしさを体感しました。 これまで個人所蔵の一部の有名作品を、美術館で観ることはあっても個人所蔵のここまで素晴らしくまとまった作品群をテーマに沿って観る体験はなかったためとても興味深く感じました。 江戸期の京は知っているようで知らず、縁遠かったように思っていたものがとても身近にも感じられました。文化を知ることで歴史を知る楽しさがあります。 また県立美術館にも初めて伺いましたが、とても立派な建物で落ち着いた雰囲気もあり開放的なホールにもなっていて良い空間だなと感じました。 駐車場は入り方が若干分かりにくいのですがとても広いし道路もスペースに余裕があるので初めてでもナビ通りでそれほど困らずにたどり着けました。 美術館内にレストランもありますが、水戸市内なので近隣にも食事ができるところも沢山あります。 美術館だけでなく近郊の観光も併せてしたくなるような立地です。 JR水戸駅からもそう遠くはなく、電車で来た母と現地で待ち合わせをしていましたが、母は駅から徒歩で良い散歩になったと喜んでいました。もちろんバスもあります。 また良い企画展があれば行きたいなと思いました。
