以前南町キッチンがあったところに新しくオープンしたお店で、実は水戸で初めてのヴィーガンカフェとのこと。座席はカウンター・テーブル含め25席ほどでしょうか。
たまたま珈琲を飲みに友人とフラリと入ったのですが、コーヒーが柔らかい味わいでとても美味しかったです。ヴィーガン用の玄米コーヒーと
普通にカフェイン入りの有機栽培コーヒーの両方あるので、ヴィーガンじゃない人も一緒に楽しめるのが良いです。
私自身はヴィーガンではありませんが、友人がアレルギーをきっかけにヴィーガンになったのでV料理を食べたことがあり、肉も乳製品も使わないでこんなに美味しく出来るの？と驚いた覚えがあります。普通のベジタリアンは殺生を嫌う観点から肉や魚を食べませんが、ヴィーガンは更に卵や乳製品、蜂蜜も使わないのだそうです。
コーヒーが良心価格で嬉しかった&お料理も美味しそうだったので、1人でもまた行ってみたいお店です。最後に少しだけ店長さん？らしき女性とお話しましたが、とても雰囲気の良い方でした。
