The appointment time has already passed, but the examination has not even started. The waiting room is very crowded, with many patients unable to sit in chairs. I feel very anxious about spending a considerable amount of time in this situation during the anxiety caused by the coronavirus pandemic. I also feel very anxious about patients who have undergone PCR tests being together in the waiting room on the same floor. (Conversation with the office staff or nurse in the waiting room: ``The doctor said that if you take the PCR test, you can go home today. The results of the PCR test are not available yet.'') Ultrasound (echo) tests also sometimes have long wait times. This time, the examination started 30 minutes after the scheduled time. Including the waiting time before that, I had to wait 50 minutes. (This test took 20 minutes! Did you wrap it up?) Depending on the technician, the test may be completed in about 30 minutes, but some may take over 60 minutes. I became worried because it was taking much longer than usual, and asked the technician in charge if something had happened, but he replied, ``I just wanted to take a closer look.'' When I asked the doctor in charge about this during my examination, he said, ``I guess he's still a new patient.'' I cannot proceed to the examination until this is completed. I have to be prepared for a long wait for that doctor's appointment, so the waiting hell continues. When it comes to blood tests, there are some nurses who are not able to collect enough samples, and who look visibly confused. In the end, some nurses only provide guidance on blood tests, but the collection itself is replaced by a senior nurse, who plays a supporting role. There is. This time too, I was unable to collect the sample and was transferred to another nurse. ``I'm sorry.'' It seems to take more than 10 minutes to collect. Because of this, the progress is slow and only time passes. Also, when getting vaccinated for the coronavirus, the medical questionnaire says, ``Have you received your doctor's approval?'' When I inquired about this, the doctor replied curtly, ``Please make your own decision.'' It took quite a long time to make the call, and the response took about 30 seconds like this. I was stunned and couldn't ask anything back. When I have to change my reservation, the phone calls I make often go unanswered (I try to call, but they never answer), and even when I do, I often don't even get a call back. It took a lot of time to get the call back, and it took a lot of time to wait for a call back, which took a lot of effort. It's depressing to have to make a phone call. Quite stressful. A recent reservation form states that ``as a general rule, please do not change your reservation.'' From reception to checkout, it takes about three and a half hours. Even though it is in Shinjuku Ward, the location is inconvenient and it is difficult to get to the hospital. The Toei Oedo Line has opened, but the new subway is deep underground and takes a long time to reach the surface (of course, there are elevators and escalators, but the number of elevators is limited and the capacity is small, and the escalators are There is a risk of falling during use). Then walk further to the hospital. It is impossible for elderly people from families without a private car to go to the hospital. There is a bus that leaves the bus stop in front of Tokyo Women's Medical University, but the bus stop does not have a roof, so it is difficult to wait for the bus on rainy days. Very stressful. The company has a half-day off system, but it doesn't fit within that scope. I have to take a whole day off. One day, as I was waiting for my doctor's appointment, someone from the floor above said to me, ``I've reached my limit! I can not do it! come on! ! ' A woman's scream echoes. I don't know if it's a patient or an attendant because I can't see it, but it echoes quite a bit because it's an atrium from the basement to the first floor lobby, third and fourth floors. Everyone looked at the person who was listening with a suspicious look on their face. Since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, many patients are feeling anxious about going to the hospital. This applies not only when you are in the hospital, but also on the transportation you use to get to the hospital. In order to avoid the rush hour, some people use taxis, which is a way to reduce the risk of infection, but it is expensive. Regarding bonus payments, there is a problem of large numbers of nurses and clerical workers retiring because the amount of bonuses paid is small or reduced, but in the first place, most small and medium-sized enterprises do not pay bonuses, so it is important to note that bonuses are paid. Don't you think that in itself is a blessing? Basically, a bonus is something that is distributed when there is profit. It would be great to receive a lot of them, but are there many civil servants who are out of touch with society? Furthermore, an investigation has been launched into the payment of salaries to doctors and other employees who are not actually working there. I don't know if that is the reason, but the doctor in charge is reducing the number of patients he is taking care of because ``the system is changing drastically.'' Is it a medical institution where there are many unknowns regarding the flow of money? It was also very disturbing to see the reception staff chatting and laughing from behind the counter, in full view of the patients who were waiting endlessly. Hospitals are very stressful to visit.

At 2014, at Tokyo Women 's Medical University Hospital, a 2 - year - old boy was killed by overdosing an anesthetic "Propofol", which is basically prohibited for children, died. Also, Propofol has been used by 63 children in the last 5 years and 12 people have died. Doctors show a stance of contending if there is no causal relationship. The idea that Japanese medicine is wonderful at being inexpensive and seeing it with the latest treatment is prevalent, but in fact, there are a lot of such medical errors. And there is a reality that many people are crying over. In Japan, there is no place where patients can consult about medical errors. There is an idea that Japanese doctors do not make mistakes, and if we make a noise strangely we can not even raise a voice as anti-Japanese label is put up. More than anything, the trial in this country is too expensive and we can only trial rich. If, at the end of a long trial, even if you win the case, there is a negative composition that will offset debts with just the lowest amount of compensation, eventually debiting, the citizens of this country even insist on their own rights I can not do that. Today, due to the influence of Fukushima Nuclear Power, thyroid cancer occurs frequently in children in the prefecture. Doctors think that there is no causal relationship of radiation. This is medical and doctors in this country. And the people also carry sins. The Japanese face gentle and do bad things.

Don't go here... I'm crippled because of this place. Read the reviews and News online about so many young kids dying on the operation table. I would highly suggest staying out of this place if you want to keep your health.

This was before coronavirus... I lost consciousness and fell on my face, and someone else called an ambulance and I was taken away. I remember looking up to see my face bleeding and surrounded by about 10 emergency staff while I was unconscious. I think I waited for about an hour until a specialist came to stitch up the wound on my face. Afterwards, he became much more conscious, but it seemed like they didn't know what caused him to collapse, so he remained in bed ever since he was brought to the hospital. I was told, ``It might be epilepsy, just wait to see a specialist,'' and I waited. Then, a female doctor I saw for the first time that day suddenly came. ``This place is for seriously ill people, so could you please get up and move?'' he said grumpily. …picture. I was brought to the hospital unconscious and covered in blood, and I don't even know who brought me here or where I am now... Moreover, they are just waiting because they are told to wait. But at that time, all I could do was say, ``They told me not to move yet.'' After that, the original doctor told me that she was waiting for a specialist, and the female doctor left, looking dissatisfied. Of course, she didn't apologize or even tell her that she didn't have to move... There are many other things, but there are too many to write about.

Dr.Hori Cosmetic Surgeon is not worth your time. He is very racist, and impolite to the patients. Not worth to be a doctor.

The medical staff is doing it's work, even if there had been fatal errors not so long ago, I cannot judge. The old wards however are awfull, feels more like you are entering a slaughterhouse than a place where people are treated. Honestly, it looks so run downed, gloomy. Got at the laundry room and you might want to jump from the roof. Good thing there are rusted barriers to prevent this. They have many rooms for two, only a few common rooms. Therefore they can get more money. Food is depressing, goes with the rest, but tastes ok, if you can endure eating mostly rice with a tiny piece of fish or a couple of vegetables. Some rooms for visitors are way to small and there is no alternative in the building, not a cafeteria, nothing. You will have a better surrounding if treated with diabetes, as this is much more interesting financially.

Do NOT choose here!! They will keep you waiting in every process, I’ve seen many people leave by canceling yet they still ignore you without even caring what they have done to an already weak patient who needs help. What a huge shame for Tokyo.

They’re late and will waste your time considerably. If you don’t want to lose an entire day waiting, go somewhere else.

My younger brother died from the side effects of medicine that an ignorant doctor kept giving him. I understand that there are many lawsuits related to drugs.

There are many old men among the security guards wearing military uniforms that look like North Korean military leaders, and when you look into the guard room, you'll find them falling asleep, and it seems like there aren't enough doctors and nurses. I've heard rumors that some male helpers in the nursing department steal things, and I'm disappointed to think that there are only people who do that. Many of the buildings are still from the Showa era and are aging. There are few restaurants nearby that are easily accessible.

Went there on Sept. 16, 2022. Was told they would not due a deviated septum operation because they don't have a functional ICU. They still billed me for the worthless consultation, however. This is no longer a fully operational hospital. I would avoid at all costs.

I have been to different hospitals in Japan and there are positive and negative reactions in this one. When my baby was checked here by Dr. Nakatsukasa, he is really a professional and caring doctor. He always ask what is necessary and recommend the absolute solution for my baby’s condition. However, during my stay together with my baby in their pediatric ward, the nurses were kind but they didn’t inform other patients to be quiet in respect to others sleeping/resting. I understand most of the patients were kids, but there was a playroom wherein they can go to play and scream. My baby didn’t get enough sleep during those stay so I don’t recommend being admitted there. Aside from that, this hospital should offer food services as well if a parent stays inside with his/her baby during admission. It was really kind of annoying to always go outside the hospital to buy foods in the nearest store because my I have to come back to check my baby in the crib. The nurses also informed me to just lock the crib handle and I am good to go. They didn’t offer to put my baby in the nursing room. Not unless if you booked for private room, probably you will get a good night rest although it’s expensive. Also, every time I go to this hospital, other doctors don’t smile and greet when you meet them in the hallway. It feels like their job was done already so they don’t have any reason to talk to you outside the room.

I underwent brain surgery. I was very confident beforehand, but when I arrived at the hospital I was told that I was not confident about the surgery. I wouldn't be able to say no. I don't want to give even one star. Looks like he'll be admitted to a facility. This place is not trusted by the locals, so surgery is not recommended. I don't think they are thinking about QOL either. I recommend it if you want an experience that will erase your life. If you want to be a test subject, go ahead. I guess they don't have much money. Before the surgery, my legs were at least able to hold their ground, but my ankles are limp and my knees are limp, so I can't stand or walk. I can't even type on the keyboard with my arm, which I was able to do before the surgery. Is it something that people do?

It's so bad. I have visited the hospital several times, but each time I have to wait for a long time, and the doctor is arrogant and looks down on the patient. You should really avoid this place.

I had a very bad pregnancy test experience. The doctor's name was Mizushikawa, and he took the test in the H02 laboratory on the 4th floor. I had some concerns when I had a test done at another hospital, so I decided to take a test at Tokyo Women's Medical Graduate School to confirm my condition. However, instead of providing the test results, the doctor cursed and refused the patient's questions. They requested that I return to my home country or the hospital where I was previously tested for confirmation and was informed that they would not provide me with any written test results this time. People complained that they couldn't explain things due to language issues, but our translators had no problems communicating with us at other hospitals. I was told that the doctor could not explain this to me due to language issues, but the doctor said that even Japanese people might not be able to understand what she meant. As far as pregnancy tests and my experience as a pregnant woman, it was truly awful! I really wonder how doctors like this treat other maternity and pregnant women!

Japan: we have universal healthcare. Also Japan: we charge universal prices for hospital amenities. DO NOT come here if you have children under 1. You are NOT allowed to bring your own formula, you MUST buy bottles of formula from them at $5 a serving. The reason? It could cause a "health hazard". The reasons are not specific at all either, just "health hazard". The worst part is, this place is considered a top hospital. Perhaps, but the hospital makes up for a reduction in medical bills by forcing you to pay for other essentials for your hospital stay at ridiculous prices. As above, $5 a bottle for baby formula where an 800g tin of formula in Japan is $20 for the lot. No wonder the birthrate is dropping.

I think that once the chairman is replaced, the hospital will return to the previous good hospital. That's all I pray for.
