We stayed 6 months at this rv park. Very nice park, cleanest bathrooms ever encountered in our five years of full time traveling, thanks to Linda, the cleaning lady. Front desk lady Michelle is very pleasant as well and the overall staff is very friendly. Once all improvements are completed I would definitely give it a five stars. Would definitely stay here again.

I have come here for years with my mother who is now in heaven due to covid. Yes they changed it very much and upped the prices but for good reason. It's beautiful. I only wish mom could have seen this pool. It's like a resort! The lady behind the desk smells like she's been baking cookies all day and I love to see that lizard by her desk he's awesome... Kinda see there's a horrible review on here but I think she didn't follow a rule and got told something so she's just not a happy camper.... But no one I talk to here complains at all. Why would we. The pool is a cocacacabana the pool lights up at night beautiful relaxing colors. Everything is clean. Slabs are perfect. It's just perfect!! I'm here for the week but wish I could stay a month!

We stayed 7 nights in a 42' fifth wheel. We would've unhooked anyway, but it was a necessity for this spot. Our average nightly rate was $28.65 including tax. The park's weekly rate was better than using Good Sam or other discount. Michelle took our reservation and was very friendly and easy to work with. Check-in was simple and efficient. We met the gentleman owner of the park....can't remember his name. Very nice, easy to talk to, he has lots of ideas and big plans for the RV park. Sounds like they're constantly making upgrades to things. We stayed on a brand new concrete pad, number 54 - perfectly level. We had no issues with the water, sewer, or electricity. This RV park has at least 200 sites right now, and they will be growing in the future. There is some road noise, but it didn't bother us much at all. We can sleep through pretty much anything. If noise bothers you, perhaps think about asking for a site at the back of the property. There are some RVs here that are old and need to go. I get the feeling there are a lot of full-timers who live here out of necessity, and are not full-time travelers. Some of them really do not take care of their areas..lots of junk scattered around. Also, the bath house doors could use a good scrub down. I never went inside though. The main sign needs to be repainted. However, these are all cosmetic things. I feel sure they'll get to it all eventually.

This place is very bad. We came here to swim, to have a good time! We where in the pool we payed for everything. And one of the staff members comes rude and ugly to us saying we gotta get out the pool. Note we PAYED TO CAMP HERE. and in the rules it states "pools is opened to all registered campers no addition charge" this is a very bad camp I suggest not to go to it. There scamers. They also do not have a fince around the pool! Letting the public swim in it!!

Friendly helpful and courteous staff. Orices are great. The longer you stay the cheaper the rate, monthly is $450 the daily rate is $35, not sure about the weekly. The sites are gravel but very level. I pulled from under my truck, lowered my camper a lottle and was perfectly level. There's a pool, lake and basketball court for entertainment. Very quiet set far back from Hwy 90. All manner of shopping is nearby. Some sites are covered by trees some are not. I prefer not to have trees because of leaves and branches on top of slides. But during summer time tree shade is really essential.

We travel frequently in parks all across the states and this is easily one of the nicest resorts we have stayed at! Excellent staff and the owners are so nice and accommodating. Clean facilities and they are constantly improving! If you happen to stop by give Miss Linda a hello, she's incredible ❤. I would give this a higher rating if there were more stars to give!

Very clean campground. Affordable and friendly staff and camp goers. Pool and laundry room to do your clothes. Small lake to fish, catch and release only.

Was set on this place until work transferred me last minute. Rates start at 450 and go up from there depending if you want a simpler, smaller spot or a new updated spot with a concrete slab. They had restrooms, showers, laundry room, dumpsters, pool, the whole nine yards. Do yourself a favor and take a look- just a whole different feel to it. Lady working the front desk wasn’t even irritated that - all of a sudden - I’m moving elsewhere just as I was about to pay her. She just simply asked if I wanted my papers back or if she should shred them. If I’m ever back in the area, this place will be my go to!

We have been traveling full time with an rv for 4 months. This is one of the best rv parks we have been. Courteous front desk who were helpful at check in and generous to let us stay way pass check out for our kids to enjoy the Halloween party they organized (super fun event for the kids!). Beautiful green grounds with a basketball field, swimming pool , jacuzzi, hot showers and laundry. Spacious spots with full hook ups. Best price we have ever stayed at with all those amenities I wish we could stay longer but had another reservation we couldn’t cancel. Highly recommend to stay here for long period and explore immediate area and a little further to Baton Rouge.

Great location and friendly service. Bathrooms very clean. Smells like pool chlorine. Hot tub is huge. Dog friendly. They try to space you out as much as possible. Neighbors all very friendly.

There's a lot to love at KOC. Good rates. Huge concrete pads large enough for your camper, truck and outdoor seating. Paved roads. Lots of nice grass. A mile long path around a large stocked pond. Large and clean dog park with hanging cafe lights for trips after dark. The RV park has residential style street lights and it's both safe and pretty at night. The campground and facilities are super clean thanks to Linda. Michelle is wonderful in the office and you can get Amazon packages delivered here as well. The owners live on-site and are the nicest couple. They were incredibly helpful during our stay and we enjoyed our talks with them. The hot tub and pool are generally not heated in the winter months but it wasn't an issue for us. We arrived Dec 1st 2022 and stayed through Feb 2023. There's a lot to see and do in the area and the acadian/cajun culture and food make this a unique region in the US. Staying for 3 months allowed us to really get to know the area and it's uniqueness and to experiences the kindness of the people.

This was a lovely stay. It was a peaceful campground with a great walking trail and very accommodating management. It was the perfect place to stay while exploring Avery Island. We'll definitely be back when we're ready to take a look at other places in the area.

Very nice private roadside campground. Many more trees than these places normally have. Great WiFi, shower and laundry facilities. Also had what appeared to be a very nice pool and fenced dog park but we used neither

Linda and the rest of the staff here were delightful. Beautifully kept campground with a trail around a pond to fish from. Nice swimming pool and big green area. Full timers and travelers mixed in nicely. All around great stay!

Overall, this was a nice campground. Michelle, at the front desk, was friendly and accommodating. My site, however, was a 2-star at best. It was supposed to be a pull-through, but there was a huge tree directly behind the site and old, concrete patios sticking 2" above ground. I'm in a 27' Class C with a toad. Negotiating around the tree and over the slabs was rough. Once in our site, the patio was broken, and cable didn't work. The owners should get rid of that site. I easily could have used a back-in site, of which there were many nice spots available.

This park is doing everything right. We stayed for 3 nights and are a bit sad to leave. It’s close to 90 but the noise is not really a concern. Such a peaceful and well maintained place. A beautiful pool and hot tub look close to completion, a great dog park, clean bathhouses and laundry ($1.50 per load), cute main office with food and supplies for sale, VERY friendly service. A wonderful stocked pond with docks, and a wide open field to gaze upon, nice landscaping. We stayed on a level concrete pad site with our 34foot TT, plenty of room for truck to park beside it. Most of the spots, which seem to be more permanent residents, are on gravel. All hookups worked flawlessly. WiFi was okay, slow a good chunk of the time. Our site (54) was in full sun. So convenient to Avery Island and other New Iberia local attractions.

Improvements improvements, improvements! We began staying at KOC to visit family in the area, when there were NO paved sites or campground streets, and the only extra amenity was a pool. Now, nearly all the sites for short-term stays are concrete, all the streets have been paved with asphalt, a luscious covered patio for lounging has been added next to the pool as well as a wading pool. It just keeps on getting better.

Nice paved roads, clean bathrooms, pond for fishing, and the staff seem attentive.

We had a very nice stay. Our site was new and large. The pool area recently redone with a palapa and hot tub. Walk around lake with fishing piers. Many long timers around the edge but still welcoming with new spots going in.

KOC, which is kind of a play on words for KOA but includes the initials of the owners, and additionally stands for Kampground of Cajuns. They have both long term and short term parking. The short term is closer to the road noise but has ginormous concrete pads which we loved. The long term is gravel parking with small pads at your door. It is a large park with many spaces, I believe approaching 200. It has a great dog park which was a plus for us. It has a pool and a hot tub but it has limited hours of use and the sign says 6-10pm Fri/Sat. The pool area is uber cute. It has a huge acreage mowed field for whatever. There is a large fishing pond with multiple piers. Can't comment on bathrooms but they looked neat and there is a laundry but we have not used it. Staff friendly, hook ups modern. Convenient to town with a planet fitness 1 mi away. We investigated 2 parks which are outside of town and quieter compared to KOC but not convenient to our purposes and without the amenities, like pool, dog park, etc. The downside is the noisy main highway and train. New Iberia is an interesting place with Tabasco Factory, Avery Island, Jungle Garden, Konrico Rice Factory, a Sugar Cane Museum, and some other stuff we have not visited. Great local Cajun food available at Bon Creole and the restaurant at the Tabasco Factory.

We have been staying at KOC for a month now. We are sad to leave this weekend! The park is a great, safe place to walk. The lake has so much wildlife! I could sit at the dock for hours! We caught multiple fish, too! They have on-site laundry, bathrooms, showers, a great dog park, a small store, and a nice pool and hot tub area. You can also have your mail sent directly to the office for safe keeping! It's a very affordable place to stay, and the staff is so nice and helpful! We will be back!!

Hospitality here only runs skin deep. We arrived road weary one afternoon in November around 2pm. We saw a beautiful cabana with hot tub & pool and decided to put our suits on & relax in the hot tub. When the tub was found to be ice cold, I called the office. They said that the hot tub heater CAN’T be turned on til 6pm because it’s on a timer set for 6pm every day and turns off at 10. DO THESE PEOPLE KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO HEAT UP AN EXTRA LARGE 1000 GALLON TUB??? Well at 7:30 the tub was still ice cold and the pool area closes at 10pm. NEWS FLASH: Don’t plan on using the hot tub or pool at this place because you won’t be doing it, although your campsite rent is high enough to pay for it. You can tell that the property owner has put a bunch of money into this place, but being too cheap to heat the hot tub and too cheap to buy a heater for the swimming pool also… (the pool was ice cold in November also)… The Bible talks about accepting hospitality from cheapskates. Not a good idea. We would’ve stayed a third night, but some other annoyances in the park plus the pool scene made us decide to get packing and head down the road.

Worst experience ever . Don’t waste your money . I calleYvonned beforehand and was not informed of the price changes and new pool policies regarding guests . My kids godparents who surprised us and met us at the park Wernt allowed to buy a 5$ Per person pool pass because we didn’t tell them when we checked in that they would be coming even though no one asked how many in the rv they told us about the pool passes and so we bought for our kids (yes they don’t include that in the already over priced pricing it’s an extra 5$ a day per person!) because we didn’t buy for our kids god parents they weren’t allowed to buy them at all . Even though they were staying in the same rv as us . The fat ugly lady at the front desk was condicending and rude and would not budge on the pool passes . We would have been better off just going to the pool and jumping in rather than be honest and pay for a pass . This is a wanna be Cajun palms and they don’t even come close to it . Dont waste Your money it’s Janky and gross.

Great place to stay! They have done a lot of remodeling/upgrades on the whole grounds, including the whole pool area and its absolutely gorgeous. Had a wonderful stay. Very friendly staff and clean restrooms. If we ever come that way again, it's the only place we will stay!
