This hostel is a nice place to stay at the Oasis. Clean rooms and perfect location. It was easy to speak ro employees as they speak English. The only thing is the music at night is so loud and the party didn't finish before 2 am. We were trying to sleep in the middle of a party. This is for young teens age who party every night. We had a long plans and distance to do, so we needed more sleep. If the music close at midnight, this place would be perfect to stay in.

Really nice hostel, lovely pool, comfy beds, good night life on Fridays and Saturdays and good food/drink buttttt the reason it's not 5 stars is because on multiple occasions we had to wait over 20 mins for food/drinks when the bar was not even busy and there were plenty of bar staff

The staff and service is great and everyone is very helpful. Victor is the best, always with the biggest smile and ready to carry your bag to the storage room. It's a chill hostel in the daytime with a great pool and hammock area and restaurant. At night it turns to a party hostel but only until 1am. You will be fine with earplugs when you sleep in the dorm longest away from the restaurant. However, for private rooms it might be more noisy cause they are placed around the party area. The have delicious food in the restaurant to fair prices. I extended my stay to chill a bit more.

Great party hostel… go with the expectation that you have to drink lots to get to sleep because it is loud! I would leave 5 stars however the service from the bar staff is terrible. You get the impression that they HATE serving you. The reception staff are lovely and helpful.

We are five women and we went to the bar. First they said it was 20s to get in after refusing the entrance to 3 Peruvians women behind us. As we were surprised we’d have to pay, we discussed it with my friends and by the time we discussed it, the guy said it would be 10s each to get in. Then we tried to order drinks which took way too much time. The cocktails were awful and expensive. They didn’t give us the change of the money we gave. Even after waiting half an hour. The music tries to mix all types but is mainly reggaetown. Be careful if you’re a woman, a weird man followed us until our hostel.

Maybe a good place to party, but otherwise it is very loud and hard to sleep. Rooms face the interior of the hostel which is embarassing. It's expensive and doesn't include breakfast. The restaurant is good and the staff is friendly

Stayed there with two friends. Pool was down for some maintenance and we didn’t know when checking in which was unfortunate. Atmosphere was friendly, place was clean. I forgot my iPad there and staff actually shipped it free of charge to me the same day back to Lima. Thanks so much!

Easy to find most Mototaxis (tuk tuks) know it. Awesome vibe. The staff is friendly and attentive. Party hostel but you can still sleep, the room we were was quite hot but it was clean and good for the price.

Loved staying here! The staff is wonderful and super fun, the food is delicious and the parties are insane, the rooms are clean and safe, the place is beautiful and located in the best place to vacation, right in the heart of Huacachina, would definitely come back. Tatiana the event manager really brought the place to life EVERY SINGLE DAY, loved her!! You’ll have fun here and feel super safe.

Great pool and bar and friendly staff! 14 bed dorm a bit small and only one shower between everyone but I like the pod style beds. Victor the security guard was the best thing about this place, always smiling and happy to help!

Staff is friendly, location is nice. Last call is 1 AM but music didn’t stop playing till 4 AM while the staff was cleaning. Didn’t get much sleep so avoid unless you are looking for a good time. Three stars because the music kept playing even when there weren’t people partying.

Not the best if you want an early night because they have party and dance at night but the service is great. Bring your own lock because there aren't locks on the cupboards Alejandro was awesome and really nice. He complimented my mapacho (tobacco) pipe. Super nice.

Victor is the host at the locked gate into the Wild Rover Hotel. He he so friendly and helpful. He has a big warm smile and anticipates your every need. He locked up our bags, so we could check out the oasis, as we were travelling with Peru Hop and the Wild River was our meeting point. Carolyn

Fun hostel, good location, comfy beds. I stayed just one night but I had a good stay. The only cons is about the room which had the door lock not working so it could eventually be accessed by others as well. Despite that, I felt safe the whole time. Be aware it's a party hostel so music is banging every night which is something they tell you and indeed provide earplugs for free.

Enjoyed the hostel, the service was great and nice facilities. The people we met were sweet. It is really hot in the shared room tho😅 Great service from Victor, he helped with our luggage and finding our way around

I arrived to Wild Rover Huacachina before my check-in time, and Camila did a wonderful job accomodating for me. She was very nice and welcoming! What a great experience! The pool is nice, especially during the hot desert days, and the bar is wonderful as well. A very social atmosphere that I definitely recommend for people that are trying to connect with other travelers. Will be back!

The music is super loud until about 2am, you can't really sleep much because of that. Besides that, good place, clean, well located and good service. They don't give you shampoo or body wash if you're in a shared room

Had a ton of fun at Wild Rover. Great vibe. Be warned that it is a bit noisy in the night as you can expect from a party hostel. I recommend that they start providing filtered water so that we don’t have to buy so many water bottles here, huge waste of plastic. Thanks to Rosa for the excellent service!

Tati is the best event manager I have met at a hostel. The best vibes and atmosphere is provided here at Wild Rover. 10/10, would recommend to anyone looking for a good time. The cocktails are unreal, the pool is brilliant, and the people always want to party. VAMOOOS😜Rosa is an amazing receptionist that’s always happy to help :) thanks to all the other bar staff too!

Tati was especially great at the cocktail making class. Really recommend! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Beds are comfy and showers are clean and hot. Must go!

I had a really poor experience here. Checked in and the manager took me to my room. There was hair all over the floor, I was grossed out to put my backpack on the ground. The sheets were not cleaned from the previous occupant. The bathroom was disgusting. There was no hot water and the shower drain barely worked. I sat on two broken barstools at the bar. On top of this bad customer service. I will stay at a wild rover hostel again.

Juan is the king of the bar, made me a killer drink called the purple. He is a god at his craft, amazing place, 5 stars🤩

I stayed here for a night and had a blast. The staff is very attentive and will make sure you have a good time. I would totally recommend anyone to stay here to have a great time.

Did not stay the night at this hostel but the bar was so much fun and drinks were amazing. Juan is an amazing bartender and very nice. I highly recommend this bar!!!!

Cool pool and bar area with a good atmosphere and location . Beds are like coffins and the room is incredibly small and hot with no ventilation. Also had security barge into our rooms numerous times for no reason. I'd recommend staying somewhere else and just going there to party at night.

Nice pod style beds and friendly staff. As it's more of a party hostel though, the music and other noise was very loud throughout the whole night. I believe that you can get free ear plugs at the reception though. Also, the bathroom in our dorm room was not clean. Their bar and swimming pool looked really good!

Never stayed at a hostel before. Thank goodness there is an 11 O’Clock curfew. I’m too old for this. Peru Hop booked it for me. Edit: (2022.01.16) have to change to 1 star. Despite Peruvian government’s curfew 11-4, this establishment only has curfew from 11 to 2. The entire night only had 3 hours quiet time. After 2 am kids started party again and bar was selling alcohol. I guess money is more important than patrons’ well-being.

If you're a nomadic traveler who enjoys the energy of sports games playing loudly while you eat, loud music until 1am and lots of young people partying, you'll love Wild Roger. I mean, it's not called Wild River for nothing! But if you like to be in bed by midnight able to sleep quietly enjoying the natural sounds of your surroundings in such a beautiful place, I'd suggest you find somewhere else to stay.

I love this hostel!! The perfect place to meet other travellers, and to enjoy the beautiful huacachina :) the staff is always there to help you out and the eventmanager nina always majes sure there is a good party around :) just come here if you come to huaca!! Normally i would have stayed for 3 nights but i extended to 2 weeks cause its so amazing :)

It’s a nice hostel with a good vibe if you’re looking to party. The bar is a happening place at night and a fun atmosphere. Although the drinks and food are expensive but I guess that’s what you get when you’re in Huacachina. Hot water works, staff were friendly and spoke good English. Definitely don’t come here if you’re not looking to party, but if you are look no farther. Definitely cheaper options to stay at in Ica if you’re on a budget

Party place, nice location, good bar and pool! If you want just rest, not the best place, but super nice for party!

When we heard it’s a party hostel we were a bit scared, however, it turned out really well and we greatly enjoyed our staying. The parties were well organized and super awesome. We had a great time dancing salsa and playing beer pong. The restaurant was also nice, the food portion was very generous. Party ended at midnight so it’s not an issue to continue the trip the day after. Highly recommended!!

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, great vibes, safe and secure. Cecilia is the manager there and goes out of her way to make sure everyone has a good time. I came traveling to find myself, she gave me the binoculars and I found myself in a single night when I stayed at the wild rover - now I'm a shaman. Love this place.

Cecilia was an amazing host at wild river. Right when I walked in she greeted us and helped me with any questions I had. Through out my stay she was super friendly and always attentive to try and help ease any concerns or questions. The whole staff is great and the hostel runs very smoothly. But Cecilia stood out!

Friendly staff, and has a great bar area. Just don’t go here if you want a quiet night. They’re open about being a party hostel and they offer free ear plugs for those who don’t want to party. Negatives, no water. So no shower, no flushing the toilets (which wasn’t ideal), and no washing your hands. It also wasn’t the cleanest in general.

This place has so much to offer! From the night life, to great food and the pool to hangout and meet new people. Jauquin behind the bar makes a great Alpaca my Bags, highly recommend! Price, location and fun, you can't beat it!

So stayed here on Monday. Party central. If you like to party its a good place, clean and ok food. If you want a good nights sleep go some where else. It does have hot water but no heat or AC in the room and the blankets are a bit thin. Windows to courtyard where the parties are at and drapes do not block the light. But a good young crowd.

Juan is THE KING of the bar. Can’t recommend this place enough solely because of the homie fixin up the refreshments day and night. Breaking his back to make sure all the homies are kept hydrated and happy
