Our fav beach in the north of Tenerife. We stayed there three nights!

Cosy nice little beach, but rather rocky. More than 5 restaurants (saw only 3 on G.maps), gelateria and a bar. Everybody from several towns close to beach is here at weekends:) - lots of people on a small beach. Being renewed and repaired in summer 2019. Nice clean ocean.

Really like this beach… local, tidy, tranquil, almost always good conditions to swim. 3 restaurants, one of them (amarca) really good. Just pity to see the cheap looking high-rise appartment blocks which spoil the magic…

Local beach. It grew on me. You can see fish. Take a long swim with the locals. I think the cliff is more beautiful than Los gigantes. The fisherman port is special. Buy beer and pizza there. I think it is a little too conservative. I have never seen naturismo, and maybe only about 5-15% topless.

Nice small black—sand beach with showers ant toilets. We were at the middle of November and it was good for sunbathing and swimming.

Beautiful little cove favoured by locals, very friendly. Free carpark, separate one for disabled and buggies with a slope all the way down Toilets, showers, lifeguard, restaurant and a small local shop for water, snacks and fruit and a chemist so everything you need. The swell and pull back of waves with the pebbles can be tricky, I definitely recommend wearing acqua shoes. The restaurant was great and we had excellent fresh caught fish there we went in the week and on a Sunday when it was busier but with friendly locals

Too much big stones. Almost impossible to swim, because of big waves. It's good only for sun bathing and meditation)

Beautiful little beach and town. There is a supermarket, bar and a restaurant at beach level. Beach is rocky and suitable only for strong swimmers.

Amazing food, really friendly and kind waitress. A bit of a language barrier but they were patient and we got exactly what we ordered ☺️

Small beach with black sand. Good swim spot with two restaurants on the seafront which look out onto the sea. There are shower facilities and toilets. Bus stop right by plus wheel chair access ramps along the sea front

It's a cozy little beach on the north coast of Tenerife. It has a great black sand, showers, bathrooms, coffeeshops and restaurants. Only thing to bring are swim shoes in case you want to go into the water since the sand turns into gravel right at the water line.

Parking may be hard depending on the time one arrives. A few restaurants were closed even though their signage stated they were open for that day and time. The ones that were open were a pizza restaurant and one other that didn't have enough staff or tables. I give the area a 3 star solely for the view, the black sand beach and the duck.

Nice small beach with black sand. The renovations have finished recently. It has nice showers after coming out from swimming and changing cabins and toilets. There are few restaurants around it which mostly have good fresh food. The San Marcos Italian Resturant has a new beer in Tenerife called Efes. You should definitely try it, it’s very delicious. It has a bus connection which just stops front of the beach. It’s around 5km away from the famous city Garachico.

Not so bad. For me the water was quite warm if you compare with other beaches of the island. BUT stones don’t let you enjoy enough inside of water closed to the shore.

Found it by accident as we were looking to find other beach. If you like volcanic type of beach this is your place to go. Water was cold but it was April so can't except boiling kettle.

It's just down at the hill, if you have a hotel/hostel on the top of it (like Drago nest hostel) it's around an hour walk (someone told me it's less, so possible I walked the long way and there is also a bus I heard...). It's beautiful black beach with round black stones, waves are quite big and swimming is not allowed. It nice to see and to take some pictures

Small beach with fine black sand that's very rocky but with places to chill. Restaurants above should you want this. Sea is strong here and gets deep quick. Hard to get in and out due to rocks if barefoot. Pleasant visit

A small nice quiet sandy beach with a couple of cafes and restaurants, and some small hotels, as part of a tiny fisher village. The bay, encircled with high cliffs and rocks, is also good for swimming and snorkeling. The village is a bit secluded in the North or Tenerife, but very well reachable by car with good parking. You don't come here for the night life but for the quiet. Less frequented than the big Tenerife beaches, but well worth a visit.

If one looks good there's a nice trip along the shore. The beach is small but nice for a swim, snorkeling of fishing
