WOW! What an experience! This bright, festive little Mexican restaurant wasn't an expected part of our Idaho excursion, but my goodness was it appreciated! After a 4 hour drive from Utah we were famished and after we checked into our hotel we walked down the street to find food. We walked into Jalisco's and were INSTANTLY dazzled by this charming place! The service was excellent (not to mention FAST!) the food was DELICIOUS, and the atmosphere was something we won't soon forget!!! What an amazing place!! If we're ever in the area again, we'll be making an effort to dine in once again!

My experience at Jalisco's was not very good. I'm going with a neutral rating of 3 stars because while the atmosphere was excellent (colorful, happy, lively!) and our server was very nice... the food was frankly inedible. In the end, the only thing I could eat was the rice and beans. I can not recommend

Super great Mexican food in a convenient location. Walked in and the restaurant looks right out of Mexico 🇲🇽. The staff was great and really friendly. The food was awesome and large portions. Plenty of items to chose from with amazing chips, salsa and bean dip. Thank you for a great experience.

I love the mexican decorations, the Mexican music, don't lose it. And love the food because it's still Mexican and not Mexican-american. When I left it was full of American people who were enjoying Mexican food. I felt proud eventhough I am not the owner. Good Mexican food in Idaho state, please come you won't regret it. 👍👍👍👍🙏🙇‍♀️

Oh man!! My meal, carne asada with camarones de ajo, was so delicious!!! The portion was huge for only 20 bucks. I've never had flour tortillas, this fluffy and tasty. If I wasn't leaving Idaho tomorrow, I would totally be here again.

Great food! Stopped here with some friends on a roadtrip and everything we had was great. Didn’t care for the margaritas but the food was great.

Jalisco’s will always be our go-to restaurant for Mexican food. The pollo fundido is excellent as well as the street tacos plate. However the reason for this review is the outstanding service we recently received with Louis as our server. We have never had a more attentive and efficient, not to mention friendly server! If you get a chance to go to the Westside location ask for Louis, you won’t be disappointed!!

If you are from the Texas area, this place is a slightly more authentic gringos from over that away. I got a smothered thing of enchiladas and it was amazing. Service is fast and friendly, and I had a great time here. The margarita I got was the only thing I didn’t actively like, it tasted way to much of cucumber and it was just a spicy mango margarita.

This place was absolutely fantastic! We came in with a larger party and had excellent service the whole time. None of us went without anything for even a second. The food was some of the very best mexican I've personally ever had. Mind you, I lived in Yuma for a while so I've had some of the absolute best on both sides of the border! This restaurant was amazing! Thanks for a great evening!

This place had a line out the door and for a good reason! Their food is well worth the wait! Even with the like, we were seated pretty quickly! I ordered the Enchiladas Bandera. 3 different enchiladas, and each was more amazing than the last. If I'm ever back in Idaho Falls, I will 100% be eating here again!

The food is great . Very tasty and very flavorful ! But the problem was they got our entire order wrong in to go order. My husband got the meat combo but he received the seafood combo instead which was really a bummer. The seafood was very good but my husband she’s not eat seafood so his entire meal got messed up.

Came here for lunch and ordered the taco salad with shredded beef. It was as good as it always is, especially because the beef is moist without being wet and all of the salad components are fresh. I can say the same thing for the tortilla soup. One of the great things about this restaurant is that their quality is consistent. The white staff is always attentive and the restaurant is pretty clean, even during the busiest times. Factor in a perfect view of the Falls and this is a great Mexican option in Idaho Falls.

This place had really good food. My mom and I sat at the bar. It was a bday celebration. We had the chips and salsa with beans that comes out and added guacamole. We split a two meat fajita it was super good along with the dessert we had. Bartender was good too. My regular margarita was big and quite good. Also, they have TVs if you are trying to watch sports.

Great food, definitely had an authentic feel compared to chain places. Was entirely crowded on a Sunday afternoon in mid summer. Margarita was superb. Service was a bit slow, but it truly was crowded (had to wait 20 minutes for a table). Made for a great lunch. Right across from the falls.

Large portion, very good quality, and reasonable price food. For those 20 something dollars dishes, probably can feed two persons. I would definitely bring my friends here.

Jalisco’s Mexican Restaurant was incredible! Service was fantastic and the food was tasty! It was our first time there and the experience was wonderful. We’ll be back next tine we’re in town.

Fantastic food and great service! Be aware of an extra tax and non cash service charge in your bill.

I often go to these restaurants, we have two of them in town. This one seems to be a little less geared towards customer service and the experience. Don't get me wrong everyone does their job and is nice and you'll leave full and satisfied. However sometimes it seems like the servers are not around when they should be in the food sometimes is a little bit off par or missing ingredients. Still above average compared to most Mexican foods and I would definitely recommend

We absolutely did not like the food. Service from the male waiter was good and he gave us a discount because we returned the plates with a lot of food left on it and commented we did not enjoy it. Taste was bland and it did not look appealing. The discount gesture was appreciated but could not save the overall rating. Lady hostess was not super friendly. Beers were good and priced very reasonably at 5 dollars for a draft.

Awesome place. Great food great service. We came near closing time and staff was shutting down but let us customize tacos and allowed us to stay past closing. Margaritas were great. 🤙🏼

Wow, plate I had was Plato Tampico, the plate was huge and full of very delicious food. Atmosphere was great as well as excellent service. I was so stuffed by the time I left. They also have a sit at bar there. Highly recommend 👌

The food was good however it wasn’t authentic as we get “real Mexican food choices” in Texas. The restaurant accommodate the locals food taste. However, the service was excellent. The waiter name Francisco helped to make for me a hot spicy salsa as I requested for one.

We ordered the parrilla de tacos, beans, rice and salsa. The parrilla of tacos come with 12 tacos and one can pick the meat: carne asada, chicken, carnitas, etc… we got the 6 carne asada and 6 chicken tacos which were very good. The refry bean was also really and and so was the rice. The only thing that we were not very impressed with was the salsa. I think that the salsa could be better. The salsa just did not taste fresh and the flavor was only okay.

I was very disappointed with our food quality and taste. The burritos were plain and cheaply made. I got a burrito and the only thing inside was microwaved frozen vegetables. There were no sauces, no flavoring, nothing. I recognize the frozen veggies because they are sold at Costco. The tortilla was definitely store bought and the only thing they had going for them was good salsa. However the salsa tasted suspiciously like one sold at Costco. The atmosphere and decor was nice and fun. The staff were nice, but nothing special. Even with a nicely decorated restaurant, I still felt like I was at a chain restaurant that sells overpriced low quality food- well because I was. (16$ for a tortilla with frozen veggies and a tiny bit of tomatillo sauce on top…). I hope Jalisco’s improves on their food quality and then it would be a nice restaurant to go to.
