Family run restaurant and and easily one of the best choices in Kobarid where you can expect incredible service and beyond amazing food. Seafood lovers will definitely enjoy it here (crudo & oysters!!) and the whole atmosphere was just great at dinner sitting. They have plenty of great wine options so we gladly followed the pairing recommendations. Please say thank you to our host & sommelier Žiga, we’ll definitely revisit soon. 👌

We were impressed with Hotel Hvala hotel reception desk to the wait staff at their fabulous restaurant. Our clean comfy room had a lovely balcony overlooking Main Street albeit Kobarid is very small. Kobarid is worth a detour from whatever destination you’re planning, as there is abundant history, good food and friendly people to make your visit memorable. The town is exemplary of sLOVEnia!

Great restaurant with a very friendly and charming service. The suggested wines were a very good match with our food. You should for sure try one of the fish dishes (like the sea bass or trout). Highly recommended for a reasonable price.

Probably the best accomodation for money in region. We were told restaurant is also great but didn't have reservation so we couldn't try, and didn't want to bother waiter with "checking if there is a free table". Fortunately in walking distance there are 5-6 places to eat. Room had no A/C, breakfast was lovely!

Highly recommend this place! Exceptional seafood (especially crudo), great selection of wines by sommelier Žiga and extremely kind, attentive staff. A must visit, but make sure to book a room as well so you can splurge with wines during dinner.

One of the best meals of our 11 days in Slovenia. Absolutely an outstanding meal in terms of quality of the food and the service. Great wines and exceptional assistance with wine selection. Would recommend this restaurant enthusiastically.

We have been to the restaurant twice so we had a chance to eat both, sea food and meet. Both are amazing, my favorite is beef tagliata “Buškarin”. Staff is very professional and friendly! Will come back again for sure.

Excellent seafood restaurant. The service was spot on. The dishes were creative yet within the acceptable range of satisfying. The wine list is thoughtful and helped us appreciate Slovenian wines. We went twice during our 4 night stay in Bovec and we will definitely return whenever we are back in the area. Make reservations in advance!
