Delicious soup curry and quick service on a small, cute corner in Kyoto. There is an english menu and english speaking staff. The options are limited to different soup curries with a great number of sides and toppings available. Fried broccoli, cheese on the rice and a boiled egg were all toppings that added a lot of flavour and interest to my meal! We had to wait outside for 10 minutes but the queue moved quickly and we were rewarded by a filling and good value meal.

Wow. The chef perfectly combines unique, creative, flavors with high quality ingredients in a well-crafted way. Seriously the most impressively modern food I’ve had in Japan yet. This is artwork. Bravo!

We had hamburger and pork soup curry for dinner, which were definitely warm and delicious.

Had lunch on 24th Apr with my wife. We haven't had Soup Curry for a long time and was hoping we would get something similar to what we had in Hokkaido years ago and we are not disappointed. The soup curry is good as you can find in Sapporo and it is complemented by a quiet atmosphere that we love and that place was manned by great service staff. We will definitely consider this place again if we go Kyoto and want some good food.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a Japanese curry restaurant and I am so glad I did! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and the service is outstanding. The Japanese curry here is hands down the best I've ever had. The flavors are perfectly balanced and the texture is just right.

Terrific curry soup, the meat and vegetables are of great quality, and it's well prepared. Possible to customize rice amount and how spicy you want the curry to be. Charming little place on the second floor (no elevator), wait times possible during busier hours. Not the cheapest place. Reduced English menu available.

Order a pork hamburger steak soup curry and a beef soup curry. Broccoli, potatoes and veggies were cooked to a soft but not too soft texture. Both pork and beef were yummy. Spent below ¥2000 for each.

Delicious! Lovely staff/owners and a beautiful rich flavoured soup curry. We tried the hamburger, pork and chicken - all delicious. Good place for a mean on a cold night. Very responsive when making a booking through google.

We've had a lot of soup curries in Hokkaido / Tokyo but first one to try in Kyoto. Had the hamburg steak (pork patty) and beef red wine). Soup had good flavour with slightly sour tones (esp the beef redwine). Tasty!

The beef soup curry was phenomenal. This was easily one of my top five meals during my two week trip to Japan. The beef was so tender and juicy. The soup curry was packed with flavor and just the right amount (level 4) spice. I only ordered a super small portion of rice to make sure I had room to finish it all and I’m glad I did so because I thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. If I had had just one more day in Kyoto, I would have gone back for a second visit!
