Hidden gem, perfect atmosphere, great DJ on Friday! Be sure to visit and have a beer!

They were sooo nice, and helped us with our dietary requirements (one of us is vegetarian and another one is gluten intolerant). They speak a bit of English, and try their best to make themselves understandable!

A fantastic find, called for a drink, a group of locals were there, saw what they were eating and decided to try, the best meal we have had in Japan, cannot praise enough. Excellent value and superb hosts.

Very good and friendly local bar that offers great food and good drinks. Prices are very good as well. They speak some English and help you with questions about Kyoto if you have any.

Expensive but nice izakaya type bar-restaurant ! The food is good, do not believe it’s French food, it’s like Japanese cuisine influenced by French kitchen: try their homemade ham (super good) and their steamed chicken breast. Plus : the playlist is perfect!

Such a great place in such a cool part of Kyoto. Super friendly, great food and great drinks. Will 100% go back when we visit Kyoto again.

Amazing bar with a rich setting and atmosphere. The bartenders were personable, giving us traveling tips and recommendations, making our Kyoto trip highly enjoyable.

Small but amazing bar situated in a quite neighborhood in Kyoto. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is great and drinks are well made and well priced. Would happily recommend this bar to anyone!

Great little find and nice to find a white wine plus winning with complimentary popcorn, the staff are very welcoming, worth popping in & if we hadn’t eaten we definitely would of tried the food, it looked great and the price point was fair

I really enjoyed my time here! My Japanese was very limited, but everyone did their best to make me feel welcome, and I had a lot of fun with everyone. The skewers were delicious as well. Thank you so much, everyone!
