Speaking of udon. Imai. A long-established Kansai soup stock. I wanted to eat this so much that I stayed at the Royal. I also had my colleagues come and enjoy it. Udon is Osaka! Soba is located in Tokyo. Nabeyaki udon and fried udon. I also took pictures of my friend. The price is reasonable, but it's worth it. However, due to the location, 90% of the staff are seniors. An elderly man in his 70s or 80s next door was furious with the store clerk, and it was a little painful to listen to him. Everything else is good. In Tokyo, Meijiya sells Imai's udon packs, so that's what I'll be using for a while.

Since I came to Grand Cube Osaka, I parked my car at the Rihga Royal Hotel, which had a discount on parking, and had lunch at this restaurant. As I was casually searching, I discovered that they were offering nabeyaki udon with matsutake mushrooms for 5,060 yen and beef tojidon with matsutake mushrooms for 5,060 yen only for September and October, so I made a reservation to try matsutake mushrooms for the first time this season. The restaurant opens at exactly 11 o'clock, and the place was full within 10 minutes of opening. The nabeyaki udon was still simmering when it was brought to the table. It was filled with piping hot fragrant matsutake mushrooms and various other ingredients. The soup stock was strong and the seasoning was gentle, but the ingredients were good. It seemed like he was able to get the most out of it. The beef tojidon was soft like sukiyaki, with a gentle sweetness and plenty of umami, and was extremely delicious, but this one had less matsutake mushrooms and felt a little unsatisfactory.

Great place to chill out

I was able to have lunch on a weekday. I went a little late, after 1:00, so I was able to get in without making a reservation. I ordered chilled kitsune udon and egg bowl. The egg bowl was delicious with a good dashi soup. The udon noodles are also quite thin and delicious when combined with the soup stock. I came with a child, and the store staff was very responsive and there were chairs for children. It's a little expensive for a udon restaurant, but overall it's good.

It's been a while since I've been to Imai, so we shared chicken udon and oyakodon. The night before, we got excited talking about the construction of the floor (Tsukusa) at our old Tokyo store.

The food was good but the portions were really very small ! We went there for dinner.

I had duck toji udon and oyakodon. It's simple, elegant and delicious. Nabeyaki udon and regular udon have different noodles. The portion of oyakodon is slightly smaller. The aroma of the delicious soup stock comes from inside the restaurant and increases your appetite even before you eat it. This time I received the Tenzaru set. The shrimp tempura is large and filling. Soba is also very delicious. It comes with soba hot water, so it's very satisfying.

Food was pretty good but very small portion for the price. I had the Oyakodon.
