We were here on 30th December, food was delicious and nice served, we didn't wait long, reason for 3 stars is that firstable we was waiting almost one hour in the front of doors to come in but that was our choice so it is not a big deal, but reason is that after I ask them to make some surprise for my girlfriends b day day said no problem we gonna bring you peace of meet, I said to them please do something else because she's vegetarian, but we got anyway some peace of steak which they charge us 50€ for it without letting us know before price and so on, it was not big deal for us but for somebody could be disaster to pay Unexpected 50€... that was just bad marketing and pushing to sell best of their food they had... but oke, hopefully this gonna help somebody in future 👌

The place is mostly hyped up for tourists. I gave it a benefit of a doubt and ordered one of the house specialties (most expensive items on the menu). While the plate presentation was nice (as shown), the meat quality was terrible. Mostly lower quality tough cuts of meat, which were almost impossible to chew. My friend returned his plate, and I was too embarrassed to do the same as I brought him there. Also, the meal comes with a side of french fries. Do I need to explain why fries don't belong to a self proclaimed upscale restaurant like this? One star for the food presentation. Fast food "trovači" in Sarajevo have better quality meat.

The waiter service at this place is disgusting, they were never available, rude, forgot parts of the orders & we more interested in talking to what looked like their “friends” who were eating there, the other waiters, would not even bring us menus. The food took a long time to arrive and it wasn’t that busy, the food wasn’t that bad but not valued for money, we ordered .9kg of meat which I failed to see that amount disguised amongst a large bread stick. I’m not one to normally complain but the wait staff are completely incompetent at basic waiting duties. I wouldn’t waste time ever coming here again. Poor experience.

Wow,I'm dumbfounded so many racists comments from bad experiences! So sorry you had this.We arrived yesterday evening and went for the first time...From walking in to leaving it was magical,utterly amazing from decor,service, food,presentation and atmosphere!Our service guy was top dollar! Incredibly kind,helped us in every way to decide,cut my husbands meat on the bone,friendly and this was five star 🌟 Lots of people,birthdays and bell ringing,sparkly candles,i felt really happy there! The whole experience has left us more than satisfied! It gets smokey in there from grilling meat plus people can smoke at their table...A complete no no for me on the cigarettes but thank god we weren't to close.Thank you for the great evening!

We expected a lot, but we got a little, understand this with good intentions. It takes a long time to enter, about an hour, outside on the street, at minus temperatures. The food is delicious, with some exceptions, insufficiently roasted meat, insufficient saltiness, etc., and the service is quality. A very commercial pub, which people passionately experience, including me. Lots of bells and shows, good theater, and little music for what it's worth it. However, I warmly recommend her to visit, to feel that taste, that energy and charm. 

One of the worst Resturant experience!! Overrated! Very poor and low quality service!! Even no manager or anyone to talk to! Requested the steak and ribs to be well done 3 times! But still wasn’t done properly!

This is a traditional Bosnian meat restaurant. I didn’t say only a steakhouse since there are many choices in the menu apart from only steaks. You can find some typical Bosnian food as well as world cuisine. The portions are quite large and the meals are tasty. In addition, the design of the restaurant is interesting with some stuffed animals.

In a nutshell - the food is outstanding and you will definitely get much more than you expected. If I lived there, I’d eat there every single day for the rest of my life!

Great food, but you need to wait your food for almost half an hour. Also they dont accept bank cards. This place is very pricy

A place to go for grilles and meat lovers when you are in Sarajevo. But be prepared to queue and wait in line for your table during their busy time.

First impression is like you enter to the hunting lodge. There are stuffed animals on the walls. 🙂 Service is good, but slow. It is hard to find free table at the lunch time. Meat is fresh and good. Very tasty food. Kajmak is one of the best I’ve ever tried. Toilet is clean. *Expensive! *Reccomend! *Public parking

Way overrated, meat is undercooked , most of the lamb portion is not available or has finished !! The chicken is not tender at all , service and waiters dose not know how to treat costumers nicely.

Delicious food, with a very good shareable portions. The waiters are friendly and they can speak moderate English to communicate so it’s ok for foreigners. The place is highly decorated.

The food portion is lesser than what it used to be and more expensive. The meat is mediocre and the waiting time and food serving time make the whole experience not worth it.

Place is good :D food was pretty much delicious but i think this "Sablja" from menu is not as i was expecting :/ i was expecting more meat tbh. For place 4 stars and for Sablja i will give 3 stars

One of the most famous and most popular restaurants in whole Bosnia. This restaurant is specialized on meat and grilled specialties. VIPs from the whole Balkan are constant visitors of this restaurant. If you want a good place you have to make a reservation a view day before. In the most cases you have to wait a view minutes to get a place, but this will pay off. The food is on a high level and it is a show to order and get some special meals. You can ask the waiters for some suggestions. The location is special because it is directly beside a small river. It is not easy to get a place outside. Anyhow, you have to come here and enjoy the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. We will come again!

Customer service 🙉🙉 can put you off. First 3 dish we ask were not available, dish we order delivered something different. Future visit will think twice. 4 star for food that came were excellent in test and cooked well although bread were cold, clean pictorius restaurant.

Food is excellent. Prices are a bit high for BiH. Excellent and free parking.

It’s astonishing how many people have given 1 star rating and rightfully so! It’s way too price and the quality of food and worse yet, the atmosphere and customer service is truly disposable! I don’t understand who would honestly give this place a high rating, other those who in some way may benefit from it! The bald and tootles guy is always there in his flamboyant colorful clothing…who is this guy!? He has truly been an annoyance every time O was there, not to mention the cow bells, as if everybody needs to know that I’ve been taken by Sejo by ordering the ridiculously overpriced low quality meat that is not nearly as good a cut as they show in their ridiculous videos.

Get ready to wait at entrance & for food. The line is around entrance before the staff arrives. Impressive entrance with selection of meats & cheese options like a well organize butcher shop. Tables a bit dirty from overnight shift & day staff arrival when doors open. Yet the meat is phenomenal, elegantly serve. I particularly loved their young cheese (kajmak) & pita (lepinje) with dried meat (suho meso) and their fries (pomfrit) remind me of grandma recipe. Arrive by 3P to enjoy their veal rotisserie, no reservation needed - first come first serve. Excellent job with the food, overall hygiene can use a bit of extra man power.

One of my favorite places in Sarajevo. Sanel was called Bosnian Nusret but in my experience he is way better. I would like to recommend everyone who visit Sarajevo to try this restaurant 10/10

One of the best restaurants in Bosnia to have beef steak and BBQ meat. We had one of the juiciest beef steak ever. Situated on the banks of river Zeljeznica and the experience was so beautiful.

Restaurant and service is on point. Amer is the top waiter there. Steaks melt in your mouth.

I was visiting Sarajevo and wanted to enjoy lunch in this Restaurant. As a non-smoker, I asked the staff to sit near the river because I am a non-smoker and some smoking customers gathered around some tables around me. The staff member aggressively refused and I had no other option. The order was already placed! Disgusting! You get a BIG ZERO for such customer service. I am reviewing the staff here, not the food-
