Do not book this place if you are looking for hotel or resort. ** High tariff : I had very bad experience of staying here. This a society and more like home stay. They have charged rs3723 for two nights which is extremely overcharged for a room like Oyo service. ** Bad service: I made multiple contact before booking to ensure that I get a room with pleasent out view of greenery and they had confirmed that a room with same requirement is reserved for you. On our arrival they couldn't provide the same stating Owner has arrived so we can't give you the room. **Poor Room : We got a room with balcony where only one person can stand and had no option to see the beauty of outside greenery. ** Powercut: You will experience a terrible uncomfort due to multiple powercut which will occurred more than 5-6 times in a day for 20-30 mins and they have a backup of one fan with emergency led bulb. ** Food : Pathetic taste and extremely overcharged. I stayed there during the Durga Puja holiday and they had only buffet service available so I had to buy food from outside hotel. ** Insects: Yes , the horrific experience is yet to mention that you won't be to open windows or balcony door due to insects at night as this place is very close to farming plot. Please do not go by their photos uploaded by the people and the same will not help to meet your expectations.

Great value for money property. Very close to the city. Lush greenery all around. Hospitality is very comendable. The entire campus is spaciously laid out and very well maintained.

Me and my friend stayed at Panthanivas for 2 nights with our families and our experience is not really good. Firstly, this is NOT a resort per se but few studio apartments in a residential complex being turned into a guesthouse - yes that’s the right word. Second, a Super Deluxe room costed us around INR 6K/night which is extremely overpriced given the amenities and services they provide. The “so called” super deluxe rooms are far from being called even deluxe with electric kettle not working, minibar fridge is broken and dirty, no phone/intercom in the room to call reception or room service, toilet flush not working. Third, don’t expect a proper reception as we normally see in any resort rather a small corner inside the restaurant is where the reception is and also the restaurant counter for food. Finally, they are extremely under-staffed and are unable to cater to the guests during peak breakfast/lunch/dinner hours. The Manager, staff and service boys don’t even wear an uniform and they are managing the kitchen with few locals from nearby village. So please don’t go by YouTube videos and honestly, Panthanivas should be your last resort if you don’t have any other place to stay near Shantiniketan.

Amazing Place to Stay for the Weekends. Rooms are Excellent and Affordable. Food is Tasty. Amenities are Plenty. A Swimming Pool is Coming Up. There is Badminton Court and a Gym For Kids and Adults like. The Premium Cottages are Amazing. The View of the Farmland is Picturesque. Monsoon is the Best Time to Visit. The Staff is Warm and Friendly and a Total Mindset Refresh is Enabled once you Visit and Stay here.

Beautiful place to be in for a weekend. I recommend you to try the mutton thali from panthashala (club house) Panthaniwas.

The very first thing I disliked is no room service was offered. This is something that shouldn't be encouraged even if it happens during the peak seasons too. In these covid times many prefer not to have food in public but not in this case infact forcibly one has to instead. Bangla cuisine is so so but the Chinese or other areas need a new start altogether. Rooms are decently sized but that's not the only thing. In all totality I shall not be recommending this place to anyone.

Good location away from the hustle bustle. Well maintained housing society. Service appartement also available at about 2000/--2200/- .However rate goes up significantly on specail occassions. They also have a restaurant in the campus which offers reasonably good food, @buffet.
