Me
and
my
friend
stayed
at
Panthanivas
for
2
nights
with
our
families
and
our
experience
is
not
really
good.
Firstly,
this
is
NOT
a
resort
per
se
but
few
studio
apartments
in
a
residential
complex
being
turned
into
a
guesthouse
-
yes
that’s
the
right
word.
Second,
a
Super
Deluxe
room
costed
us
around
INR
6K/night
which
is
extremely
overpriced
given
the
amenities
and
services
they
provide.
The
“so
called”
super
deluxe
rooms
are
far
from
being
called
even
deluxe
with
electric
kettle
not
working,
minibar
fridge
is
broken
and
dirty,
no
phone/intercom
in
the
room
to
call
reception
or
room
service,
toilet
flush
not
working.
Third,
don’t
expect
a
proper
reception
as
we
normally
see
in
any
resort
rather
a
small
corner
inside
the
restaurant
is
where
the
reception
is
and
also
the
restaurant
counter
for
food.
Finally,
they
are
extremely
under-staffed
and
are
unable
to
cater
to
the
guests
during
peak
breakfast/lunch/dinner
hours.
The
Manager,
staff
and
service
boys
don’t
even
wear
an
uniform
and
they
are
managing
the
kitchen
with
few
locals
from
nearby
village.
So
please
don’t
go
by
YouTube
videos
and
honestly,
Panthanivas
should
be
your
last
resort
if
you
don’t
have
any
other
place
to
stay
near
Shantiniketan.
