Neos - Restaurant & Weinbar

Excellent service, friendly, perfect English, professional and knowledgeable. Starter of beetroot, goats cheese and oddly enough, lemon sorbet, worked surprisingly well. Zingy and fresh, it was a great start to the meal. Iberico pork cheek was excellent too. Salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly, but the accompanying elements were a disaster. It was supposed to be risotto, but it was overcooked mush with some grilled vegetables thrown in. The chorizo was not great either. The waiter copped that I didn't like it and gave me a free dessert, which was delicious and much appreciated. Wine was excellent, suggested by the waiter and wasn't on the menu. The restaurant itself is very nice, good vibe and ambience. A broader menu would be good, there really isn't too much choice and when one of the choices is poor, it doesn't help. Having said all this, overall a very good experience and would definitely come back.

Modern and stylish restaurant in the middle of the altstadt, if you blink you may miss it. There’s a nice outdoor seating area with umbrellas to shade from the sun or protect from the rain. Very friendly service. We didn’t have a reservation and asked if we could sit outside for a drink and appetizer. We were seated right away. Our only regret is we didn’t eat dinner here. All the food that came out looked and smelled amazing. We look forward to the next time.

Absolutely wonderful meal. Every course was fantastic and we tried most of the wines which were equally as good!!

Food was good, crunchy and tasty schnitzel with some cranberry sauce. On the side we had a lot of nice fries and a salad! The service was good, because as we were not really in their sight they still asked if we needed anything.

Neos has great food and a great ambiance. They played wonderful music, too. I had salmon tagliatelle, which was delicious. We got warm chocolates cake with ice cream for dessert, which was an excellent way to top off the day. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

Service was very friendly, food both looked and tasted great. The waitress was very busy, did her best but forgot drinks, wine before the food and generally too much waiting time. Food would get 4-5* but the long wait and the less organized service takes the rating down.

The food was really good! The seating inside was very comfortable and the service was super friendly. We had the “pfifferlinge”, which are wild mushrooms (september now), and the vegetable pesto. Price/quality/size was excellent. Highly recommend

The server was nice, but the food is insanely overpriced for what you get. Food was overall very bland and the portions not very big. Had a better tasting meal in the local snackbar(imbiss) than here for less than half the prize. Don't go here unless you want to spend a lot on mediocre food.
