    Went there today and it was great. Really cool personell to give you informations. At first i tought it was closed but close to the door there is a bell where you can call and talk to the responsible over there. A lot of history in one place! Unique!

    It is an impressive castle, unfortunately the weapons on display were not part of the castle's past. I also found it a pity that so little is said on the tour about the last use of the castle as a prison.

    In it self, Rocca Sforzesca is just another fortress - but combine it with thw history of the Sforzas, then it becomes magnificant. One downside however is the limited opening hours - be sure the verify that before arriving.

    The place was closed when I saw it but from the exterior it is basically all intact and gives an impression of solidity and of a great stronghold.

    Entering from the museum it is possible to walk along all the external walls other than see many internal spaces. During summer the yard is used as open cinema and to host artistic events.
