Backpacking on Deokjeokdo Island for Lunar New Year ■ Schedule: February 6-2, 2019. 8. ■ Cost: approximately 50,000 won (Because it was Lunar New Year, the incoming boat fare was free. The outgoing boat fare of 5,000 won is a discount for Incheon citizens. Bus fare is 1,000 won, spending 20,000 won at supermarkets and convenience stores, and parking at Incheon Port is 26,000 won.) It was scheduled to be 2 days and 1 night, but the ship was canceled due to weather problems, so we ended up staying 3 days and 2 nights. The spot we decided on was Neungdong Gravel Beach, but since it was too empty, we moved to Batjireum. There is a bus that runs four times a day. Get off at Batjireum Beach stop and walk 150m to reach the beach. There are toilets, sinks, and shower facilities, but they cannot be used in winter. There are several sites in the pine forest with a view of the sea, and there are also seaside rocks where you can enjoy fishing. Seopori Beach facilities are the most developed and there is a cu convenience store, so convenience is the best.

Deokjeokdo Radius Beach It's so beautiful. The sand texture is as clean and good as Sangju Beach in Namhae. If you go barefoot at beaches on the west coast, your feet will be damaged by shells, but this seems to be less common here. It seems to be a sandy beach that is hard to find anywhere else because it is covered with sand dunes caused by the wind. We must protect and take care of it well. There are small pine trees on the first side from the entrance, but if you go about 300m to the left, there are many dense, very old pine trees. It would be cool to pitch a tent underneath it. The floor is made of fine sand. The drinking fountains and restrooms are also kept relatively clean. There is no supermarket nearby, so you will have to bring everything you need. It would be perfect to go fishing and catch rattles on the sandy beach and enjoy a very relaxing time. If a place like this were close to land, it would be overcrowded with people. Luckily it's far away. The stars twinkling in the early morning and evening are so beautiful. I've been to Seopori Beach and Neungdong Jalgal Madang, but I think this is the best. This is a subjective judgment... so please keep this in mind. Have a nice camping~~~

Batjireum Beach, another one of Deokjeokdo's beaches, is also listed as Batjireum Beach in the Deokjeokdo tourist information pamphlet. Batjireum Beach is a very small, short white sand beach compared to Seopori Beach, so it is highly recommended for those who like a quiet, quiet atmosphere. Batjireum Beach is a small white sand beach that is not that big, so it has the disadvantage of not being equipped with any recreational facilities like Seopori Beach. Therefore, if you are planning to camp here, it would be a good idea to carefully prepare everything you need for your stay, including food and drinks, in advance. However, Batjireum Beach has a public parking lot that is quite large compared to the size of the white sand beach, and the beach or sand dune is a satisfactory place for camping. At Batjireum Beach, like other beaches, the sand dunes act as windbreaks, and the pine trees growing on the dunes act as windbreaks, which are enough to block strong winds blowing from the sea. Meanwhile, there are no particularly famous tourist attractions around the beach, but you can see Heukdo from far beyond the beach, and in a corner of the parking lot, only the historical fact that the Marine Corps landed on Batjireum Beach and waited before carrying out the Incheon Landing Operation during the Korean Trouble is recorded in the monument. It's just done.

It's pretty and quiet and great for children and adults to swim in the sea.

Batjireum Beach, I came to Deokjeokdo Beach to relax. There are few people and the sea and pine forest are close, so it is a perfect place to lose yourself in the sea while listening to the sound of waves.

It's nice to run around on a windy beach where no one is looking. Quiet and clean, There are many pine trees, providing cool shade. Fishing on the shore rocks and fishing in the sea are possible. It is convenient to have a toilet and shower. It's a quiet beach. The parking lot is also spacious. Please stop by and have some fun. but! Please take your own trash with you or dispose of it separately. Always be careful as the sea water rises rapidly at night. Don't throw away trash on the beach. If there is trash, pick it up and throw it away! The sea view seen from the shade of the pine tree is indescribably spectacular. If the weather is good, you can even see Gureop Island. There are many creatures near the beach, so it is good to experience them. I highly recommend it.

The average depth of the beach is rather deep. The water is clean, and during low tide, you can collect clams, conches, and bamboo shoots. Fishing is also possible near the seaside rocks, but there are almost no bites in midsummer, perhaps due to the water temperature. Compared to Seopori, there is a smaller pine forest, and there are fewer users, so you can relax leisurely. Both lodging and camping are possible. A lifeguard is always present when the beach is in operation.

Quiet and pretty beach. There is a toilet and a shower room, but the shower room seems to be open only during the peak season.

There are not as many people as I thought and it feels private. There are trees behind the beach, so it's good to pitch a tent and rest. There are limited times, but there are free showers. It's so good!! I think it would be good to visit as a family. There is a seaside rock on the right side, so I think it would be good for fishing at sunset.

It is a quiet beach where you can relax. The couple who owns the Blue Beach Pension right in front are so friendly. It takes 1-2 hours by boat from Incheon or Daebudo dock. (It varies depending on the type of boat. Reservations can be made on the website of the island you want to visit.)

The water is clear, the pine forest and the distance to the coast are short, which is nice.
