I visited Deshpande veg today. I am very disappointed with the service and food. We ordered idli wada and butter masala dosa. Idli and Vada were not hot. Butter masala dosa had no butter or maslaa onto it, it was plain dosa.. the potato vegetable inside the dosa was very bad. But the prices are high even though the quality and taste is not good. Staff is arrogant and are not responding properly. They don't pay attention and instead fight with the customer related to orders. Washrooms were dirty and they had no water into the washrooms. I would not recommend this hotel.

Awesome and must have place while going towards Tuljapur/Solapur/Akkalkot. Accessible and food quality is delicious. Ample parking spaces that too covered, best for family. But sometimes your order may get served in 30 mins which happened to us otherwise all was great, specially food and also it's budget friendly.

Went thro recommendations to specially try the देशपांडे special Puri Bhaji. However was not to the expectation. The tea was excellent though. Hygiene is good and even washrooms were clean. Ample parking space with some covered parking as well. The quantity of Puri bhaji was ample though and comes along with sweet Shira and curd. No complaints there. Breakfast however closes around 11am FYI.

Overall it's good. Taste wise it's ok good for kids to play and meal. Service is good. Location is good. There are some more shops along with restaurant where you can buy some home made pickles spices etc.

I recently visited this restaurant with my family and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was of good quantity and quality. The rates were also very reasonable. There was plenty of space to park, which was great. The only downside was that sometimes you had to wait a while for a table, but the ambience more than made up for it. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Was traveling from Hyderabad to Pune and stopped here for lunch (and also for breakfast on the way back) Good place, strategically located. Adequate parking space as well as seating place. In terms of food, good variety. I had Baigan Masala with Roti and Rice. Expected it be more like Bharli Wangi but it was more on the Punjabi side. Nonetheless, the taste was good. The service also is pretty good and fast. Price is affordable, overall a good place to stop during your trip.

Deshpande Veg is a good place to take a break and grab something to eat if you are traveling towards Solapur from Pune. We have visited the place many a times and its always busy as most travellers prefer to dine here on this highway. They serve good fast food items right from Maharashtrian to South Indian delicacies. Their best dish should be the Puri Bhaji comes with a nice spicy curry and dry potato bhaji, its highly recommended. I loved their Batata wada, Sabudana wada and misal as well. Just outside the restaurant they have a special store for authentic Maharashtian masalas, chutneys, different oils and Pickles. Overall a nice place to visit.

Good Restaurant for breakfast and other meals. They served well and nice spot to take a break on Pune-Solapur highway. We’ve tried the Puri Bhaji and Misal Pav and liked the Puri Bhaji much comparatively. Tea is also good. They’ve also started additional small businesses at site.

Finally able to find a hotel that offers idly/dosa. Its been 3 days in MH and All I get for breakfast are Poha and Pav Bhaji. If you are from South like me then, go no further. You hit the jackpot. Chutney and Sambar taste too good. Extra Chutney and Sambar for no cost and even the tea tastes good. I will strongly recommend this place.

A nice food place on the highway. South Indian food is 👍👍👍 the sambar & chutney is on point. The chef must be from South India. Bathrooms are clean as well. Service is good. But a lot of fly's are there. Hope the management takes note of this and installs a insect repellent.
