As far as ambiance and scenery is concerned, this is a very good place to go. But the service they're offering is not living up to its hefty price tag, especially their Pico restaurant. Leaving people with no other choice but to order food from the hotel itself because the place is exclusive and secluded, the hotel and resto management normally fails to mitigate the rush of orders on peak hours. Having an idea of how many guests are in their hotel at a given time because they have booking records, they should know that they need more people and arrange more spaces for people to eat.

The staff are friendly but the place is just not managed properly. We went during holy week and I understand it's a busy period but seems like they did not prepare well enough for the number of guests. There's a lack of managers to make sure things are running efficiently/improving the processes. Line to order at the beach bar is always long (husband was standing in line for 30mins during lunch) and waiting time for food is even longer (brother waited 40mins for his drink to arrive at the beach bar. Same thing happened at the poolside bar). Got a room on their renovated floor which was more expensive than the regular room but was very disappointed. Room was labelled disinfected but when we arrived, found an empty sachet of shampoo in the shower area and the toilet still smelled of urine. Yellowish water comes out of the faucet upon turning it on. Most amenities and activities (indoor and outdoor) have a fee. Lunch and dinner dine-in options at the main restaurants are buffet only (about PHP 1.2k per pax). Overall, not worth it. Their only redeeming factor is their friendly staff.

Pico Sands is a great place to go to with families or friends. They have a lot of amenities (bowling, billiards, and darts all come with a fee, but the fees are not that expensive so you won’t feel bankrupt after playing), pretty good food, and great service. We only stayed there for one night, but I’d suggest staying there for a longer time to make the best out of what Pico has to offer. I do wish they had more variety in terms of food and drinks though, and it would have been nice if their gym and pool opened at an earlier time (e.g. at 7 or 8AM instead of at 9AM when it’s already pretty warm). Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay at Pico Sands.

We arrived early around 8am and waited until 10am before we decided to go out for lunch. Around quarter to 1pm we arrived again and still our room wasn't available. A lot of people did come and go but we were checked in around 2:30pm. The room is nice and big. It has 2 floors and 2 bathrooms ( 1 with shower and 1 with toilet only. The water can be freaking hot it is really good. ) We went to the beach around 4pm and people are everywhere. Beach looks nice and wide but there are garbage in the waters. Plastics, wrappers, facemasks, etc. It is very disappointing. Although there are people who pick up trash, still the problem is in the water itself as the garbage just keeps on floating in it. The water wasn't clear and there were jellyfish as well. Maybe because jellyfish are in season. The pool is big but there are more people since the hotel is surrounded by condos. For food, be prepared to spend β‚±500/head for a single plate of food. Good thing they offer in-room dining which is much better than eating in the resto with a lot of people. Hoping tomorrow will be better. I'll add the photos after our visit and add my additional experience tomorrow. Oh. The pond in the middle of the resort seems like their sewer because there's a part of it that smells really bad. Update: Buffet has limited choices. They only have one juice which is calamansi juice which tastes good. The place is only beautiful if there are less people. Overall, it is an expensive place but the more people they try to accommodate, the more it becomes like a public beach. All the staffs are friendly and nice which is really good. The place!! It is so big you waste your time waiting for a caddy or shuttle to drive you around. Only 4 faucet with trickling water to wash your feet going back to your room. By the time you get back you're all dry.

There's a leak inside the washroom. The floor is uneven. The rate does not justify the quality of room. Plus the entrance reeks of sewage smell. The Beach is just okay. Nice view.

The room we got had 2 floors and a balcony which was enough space for the five of us. The beach was also really nice and the pool was big and not crowded. I would rate this hotel 5 stars if the food was better. In conclusion, the hotel is fantastic and is definitely worth for the price. I recommend going to this hotel for your birthday or just for vacation.

The place is just 2.5 hours from Manila via Ternate-Nasugbu highway. Easy to find and navigate via waze... πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ Hotel is totally different from the pictures posted online. It's a bit old but still ok. Water supply / pressure from our room are too weak. Room is also dirty and smelly. Also, the place limited on everything.

Their food quality is inconsistent. My wife and I both got food poisoning from a serving of their Buffalo Chicken Wings, which were not spicy nor crispy. In fact, I don't believe that they were cooked. They seemed like raw wings smothered in a sauce. Their morning breakfast buffet was also inconsistent. The first morning, the salad was fresh and crispy; the next morning, the salad was limp and old. The cooking staff has no standards at Pico Sands. Very disappointing. I will try a different resort, the next time that I am in the region.

Beautifully renovated rooms! From my direct booking, to checking in and up to to my family's check-out, I was wonderfully accommodated and taken cared of by all departments of Reservations, Front Office, Restaurant and Housekeeping staffs. Looking forward to visiting again within the year!

Breakfast was the best part of 3 days visit. Very nice view. Watch out ants while wondering around. They climb on you without you notice and do some small bites on your skin. There was a false fire alarm which made us walk on staircase down 7 floor and then we were informed after some tense feeling that it is false alarm triggered by error. Don't keep your balcony door open very long as bugs coming in.

All the staff was so friendly and helpful. They always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and happy. The hotel is very clean, and the view from your room is breathtaking. We're always excited to come back here.

If you're looking for a true paradise, look no further. This resort embodies tranquility and serenity. The lush gardens, the soothing sounds of nature, and the world-class amenities create a haven of relaxation.

This place is good for relaxation but the beach area is small. Plus, would have rated 5 star if there are a lot of activities in the area. Not much to look at when walking along the beach just nature. I think this place can still improve without sacrificing the beauty of nature.

Pico sands hotel has a good location for a quick get away not far from manila. Amenities are all good while spending quality time with your family away from your busy routine. Receptionist is easy to deal with when we ask to upgrade our room. They provide us the best room they can offer with a great view of the whole area and a huge balcony at the corner. They even provide us a complimentary cake

A good place to spend a weekend because it's only 2.5 hrs away from the metro. Fully booked during this holiday. Takes time to transfer from one area to another especially during rush hour because the mini bus and golf carts are limited in number. Rooms are also not soundproof, you can literally hear the guests on the next room flush their toilets. Another concern was that the rooms have connecting doors that if you forget to lock can be opened by the adjacent room guests.

Rooms: The rooms are very spacious, clean and decent. It provides you with almost everything you'd expect from a vacation hotel room. Wifi was fast. Service: Lobby service was great. They attend to your needs swiftly. Location: Depending on where you will be coming from, its quite drive. Food: Its a hit or miss. Mostly expensive. Biggest problem for me though is, THEY DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY ISSUE RECEIPTS / OFFICIAL RECEIPTS. As if they are all instructed to do so. From the hotel restaurant to the beach restaurant to the other restaurant near the pool, all they give you is the BILL RECEIPT or your initial check. They do not provide you with the official receipt, unless you ask for it. Same with the hotel itself, they just give you some random paper with amount, but no receipt...

Service is very good. It is very safe and can be expensive to ordinary people. The fee is quite expensive for common people but it has all the amenities that can be use such as the bowling alley, racket ball, badminton, indoor volley ball , basketball courts, etc. one should bring their own towels since towels are being rented for 50 pesos each. The servers at the hotels are very attentive. Pizza are both delicious and love the thin crusts. Gelatos are not sweet and are to my liking. Salads are good both at the club house and the hotel. Busy place and very secured. Everyone are very helpful and accommodating. Clean . Beach is clean.

Pretty normal, nothing special to be honest, the food in the hotel's restaurant was good though, we ordered kebab and it was spot on. We ordered iced coffee and chix teriyaki for take out in Lagoa and it took more than 20 mins which was disappointing. We appreciate their heated pools as it was an alternative to the beach. Beach has trash floating around, I'm not sure if we just came in at a bad time and thought they might clean it thoroughly but still dirty the next morning. The management needs to add more buggies/bus transport, can't believe it takes more than 15 minutes to wait for a transport going to and fro the beach to the hotel If I'd think about it and try to compare it with our experience in Camaya, we'll prefer Camaya again rather than Pico, not until they have improved maybe.

The entire facility is okay with a diverse set of amenities to really enjoy your stay like, of course, first and foremost the beach and the pools. The all-you-can-eat buffet at the restaurant is indeed 5-star. There are a lot of things to occupy yourself with like table tennis, badminton, bowling , etc. My brother said it's the place they've been with a wide sorts of amenities. Shuttle service from hotel to the beach though a walk is better and healthier. The only setback for me, though minor but disappointing still is that the room we occupied had faulty shower controls, faulty bathroom locks, broken chopping board. But the 4 star is mainly for the yellow band that we're told we have to wear throughout our stay. Said to differentiate us from owners. Discriminating and a hassle.

I had a day tour here, so i don't know how was the room, but the hotel amenities is very good, Amazing man-made lake and walk path. However, the sand and beach is not so amazing, the water not so clear and sand is a little dark, what most important is, we plan to have dinner here, but the service girl said the order food is only for take out, you can only have the buffet if you want to dine in.

Drive was quite challenging but overall good. Not advisable to go there in the evenings or super early in the mornings because of the road. The first suite that they gave us had a malfunctioning shower and aircon unit, but they upgraded us afterwards. Breakfast buffet is decent. Swimming pool is a lot of fun.

The place is quite unique and it is quiet, the serenity is top notch except for it is pretty expensive to go there and the for the amenity cost as well. Still, we enjoyed the stay.

Our 4th time to visit Pico Sands Hotel. Rooms are nice and spacious. I like that there is a bidet. Bed mattress is firm but soft. Staff are responsive and pleasant.

Stayed at Pico Sand Hotel for 2 days and had 3 rooms booked for my relatives. The bedrooms we booked were meant to be new renovated as per the advertisement, however on arrival it was definitely not new. The room was tidy however grout on the tiles was dirty and tiles were chipped throughout, and bathroom had mould. Very disappointed with the rooms as I expected the photos on the advertisement to be the same. Prior to us staying at the hotel we were staying at 2 different hotels in the Philippines and this one was probably the worst one I’ve been to. They did changed our rooms on the day which was a little better than the last 3x rooms we had but still not the best. Unfortunately we did drive nearly 3 hours away and the hotel is quite far from everything, so just stayed our last few days prior to leaving the county. The hotel needs to update the advertisement photos as other tourists guest were in the same situations as my family, the rooms needs to be freshly painted and fix the flooring, beds are not comfortable and the bed frames and furnitures are aged . Food is quite pricey and they do charge all the extra fees. The staff throughout Pico Sand Hotel were exceptional and lovely, no issues with the staff.

Place seems nice. The website however did not say that the hotel will keep a hard copy of guest vaccination status. Staff can't tell you either how the keep the information once a guest checks out. First hotel I've been to that takes a copy of guest vaccination status. All other hotels are happy to see a guest status. Would be good to know why that is the case.

We liked the service. Hotel staff were nice, courteous, and attentive. Selection of food for the buffet brekfast is a little limited but taste of food was good. Unfortunately, they do not have rooms with bath tub. Also, would suggest that the pool be temp controlled for those rainy months when it can get really really cold in the area.

We had a great time, room was good quality with comfortable beds, breakfast buffet was included and had a good selection. The staff were very attentive and polite. Beach was top quality and pool and country club was excellent. Overall a 5 star experience for our weekend get away to this resort.

A great place to stay with the family. Beach is clean and calm, waters are clear with some fish. The pool is equally great. There are also many great indoor activities available (e.g., basketball, badminton, bowling, billiards, darts, etc.). The room we occupied was modern, very clean and well maintained. My only gripe is the food from Picorestaurant at the hotel lobby is not very good. Food served at the other restaurants are better (that's why I only rated 4 stars).

Service is top notch. From the hotel, to the bar, to the staff around the entire area. Hotel Room can be improved - cleanliness, lack of basic amenities (water, in house chargeable drinks or snacks).

Our 3rd time here. The reason we come back is for the calm, relaxing and cozy environment. The beach is clean, the water is just right for a swim. The rooms give you your money's worth. Good service by the staff. Would've given a 5 if not for the amount of time waiting just to check in and check out.

A sweet getaway from the stress brought about by this pandemic, with some caveats. The overall experience has definitely gone down a notch since the last time I've been here way back 2018. Expect a lot of foot traffic with the recent opening of the resort to non-members renting via airbnb. If your numbers are few, it's still worthwhile to opt for a hotel stay instead of renting a unit as it provides access to the resort facilities and amenities.

Loved the place. Food is good but I wish there were more choices. Service is awesome. We enjoyed getting a steam bath, full body scrub and massage at the Rain spa. Overall, delightful experience.

We put our family in the penthouse suite. Worked well for 6 people. The hotel staff were so good. The person that checked us in was excellent. She made sure we got maximum value. The hotel is a short walk or shuttle to the beach. The pool is totally epic. Breakfast buffet was great. It’s a private gated resort so to enter you need a reservation. We hadn’t booked before arriving. When we got to the gate the greeting person put me on the phone with what I thought was the hotel but turns out it was a condo owner. So there’s a scam between this greeter and condo owners where the greeter tries to sell you a condo rental. Not cool. I ended up booking a room online at the gate which gave us access to the resort then when we got to the hotel the staff were just so good. Either way. Beware the scam.
