The place good for family gathering, you can bring your own food, complete basic home kitchen utensils inside your rent condo, entrance fee regular days 1.2K adult, kids below 10 Year old 400 pesos and 960 pesos for PWD/seniors citizens. All condos are in the side of lagoons, good for walking and jogging. Beach sand are good and swimming pool.

The facilities were first rate. Food was great! (You must try the squid cooked in gata!) What brought it down for me was the beach. It was beautiful but when you swim in it you start to notice small pieces of plastic floating in the water. This isnt the resorts fault but its there and it kinda spoils what would have been a 5 star experience.

Traveled with my family here last week. Stayed in one of the condos because it's much cheaper compare to hotel. You can save like 2k per night if you'll stay in one of the condos. Unit owner is very nice. Kitchen utensils are available.

in short, very over rated place. property is in urgent need for total repair and proper maintenance. It's a want to be first class beach resort / club / residence, however lacks all what's needed to achieve such status. Club membership is just paying that, there are no other benefits attached to it. Instead still need to pay for room, water activities, indoor activities ets..Restaurants serve very expensive food for what is been served, which was also lacking the basic taste according the food we choose in the pool and main resto. Water sports are extremely expensive for the standard 1h equipment rental. They did ask if we wanted the corner room because an group was coming, at a more cost of PhP1000/night. The room was very basic fitted and in need for attention. You find similar rooms in the resorts few Km further down the coast line at more than halve the cost. Will leave this place for those who want to brag that they can stay in such highly profiled places. In short, never ever again. I give it 1 star because, there is no option for an 0 (zero) star.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE Here are the huge red flags: 1. Front desk was manned by a bunch of inexperienced employees who seem to lack any real training and knowledge about their job. Not very attentive; almost irritating. Likely interns or trainees with no proper guidance on how to talk to guests. 2. Wrist tags. We should have started driving back when they insisted that all guests go up to the front desk and put on these ridiculous tags. Nothing screams cheap and tacky than a bright orange wrist tag to be worn at all times at a private beach club. I’ve stayed at several real high end beach clubs in the country (Balesin, Anvaya, Punta Fuego) and I’ve never had any to deal with this nonsense. 3. Security was unnecessarily strict and even felt demanding and intimidating to guests. You have to show your ID at the gate (after you’ve already checked in at the front office) and then you have to show your ID again at the condo lobby AND THEN REGISTER ONE MORE TIME. Everything was manually inputed using pen and paper by an incompetent security guard at the lobby. Like he’s writing a police report. There’s no concierge. The lobby guard can’t even communicate properly. Zero customer service skills. 4. No available parking at the building. You have to park at another block. So you drop your bags at the condo lobby and then you drive to the next block and park your car AND THEN WALK BACK TO THE CONDO BUILDING. 5. The lobby was ugly. It had badly damaged walls. There was also a metal scaffolding right by the lobby entrance. 6. And finally the rooms were horrendous. It had the smell of mold and mildew. We booked three rooms and all of it were in the same state. White fluorescent lights. Cheap mattress and pillows. Cheap blankets. The restroom was bare. No toilet paper or any kind of toiletries. YOU HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL AND TOILETRIES. Dry urine stains under the toilet seat. The whole room was very depressing. — If you’re reading this and you’ve already made a deposit, ask for a refund right now. This is good advice. — Please do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. It’s not a pleasant experience at all for the amount that you have to pay (₱6000 per night). It’s not a premium beach resort. It’s a low level resort that’s trying very hard to be premium by jacking up the price. Sure, other previous guests might be raving about this property in their reviews but that seems only likely when you have low expectations or have no prior experience of other beach resorts that are actually worth your money. This property is downright depressing and should even be considered for delisting due to false advertising.

Arrived at the place and a man called Rey the endorsement said you have to pay an entry of 1,300 peso per adult which u have no choice but to pay. The care taker of the room was late to cleaning the room. the internet was not working and I was disappointed by the room as it was unpleasant and dull with no water to drink, u have to buy your own . Furniture was old and some are broken. Toilet is very filthy, cabinet are locked inside of the toilet and old stuff. You can't shower or use the water because its brown and had smell on it. Expensive food restaurant in country club. Not recommend to stay to people going there. The last thing is the cockroaches everywhere and small ones. The compartment under the bed was infested with cockroaches as well as on top of food cabinets.

Very secluded hideaway. A must visit place. Just make sure you have a lot of money because everything here is expensive. The pool area is big. There's a lot of things to do in a country club. The restaurants only serve the best No need to bring any cash, they only accept card payment.

A very nice place to go enjoy and celebrate occasions or just for vacation with your loved ones. They can accommodate pets like cats which is why we chose the place along with its outstanding view. The room is very good clean, nature like feel design, relaxing and has a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly. The place has many things to do like indoor/outdoor activities all accessible by walking distance though you have the option to find some shuttles roaming in the area. Payments are all cashless which is very good to me who doesn't want to bring cash. Overall it is a best experience for me and my wife and my pet cat to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy our vacation.

Where to start?. On arrival checking in no problem. Except being asked to pay a registration fee that I knew nothing about. Which for me was 8400phs. 1200 for each person. Had I known about this I would have budgeted for it. We had 2 apartments. The first one had no water when we arrived, and it didn't come on until later that evening, so everyone had to get showered use the bathroom in the other apartment. Day 2 the same apartment had no power all day, so no internet no water, no anything. Day 3 the water was off all day again. Day one we went to the pool only to be told that we were not allowed to wear Cotton shorts, so we had to leave and go and get changed. Luckily we had enough non cotton shorts between us, to use the pool. Food and drink not purchased at the resort is not allowed anywhere except inside your apartment. There are no shopping facilities there so you cannot purchase anything except food and drinks. On the list of facilities it states there is a mini Mart, but there isn't so be sure you don't forget any thing as you will not be able to purchase anything whilst you are there. The beach is nice enough and the food is excellent at the beach bar/restaurant, and not too badly priced. The only problem we had was that only the most expensive milkshake was available whilst we were there which was twice the price of the cheaper milkshake. I also was not expecting to have to leave the sea at 1800hrs on the dot. Maybe it becomes more dangerous at this time but it is everyone out of the sea at 1800hrs. The food in the main restaurant very expensive but average at its best. And when asked if we could just have a small ice cream for dessert were told no we only have the ice cream desserts on the menu so we paid the 350phs for our 3 year old niece so she could have the ice cream she was promised. Surely the restaurant could have made a small bowl of ice cream, but apparently not. Overall the pool is excellent the rooms are adequate if you have electric and water, the beach is nice, and the food at the beach is excellent. But the resort needs more facilities and less rules

The place is a bit dated. Breakfast buffet price is ridiculous, beach resto is reasonably good. Anyway place is good for beach swim and maybe just an overnight stay.

One of the best beaches I've been to. Let me first start with the location/placement of the place. It's really good, and you're surrounded by nature and mountains when looking outside your balcony (see photos). As for the rooms, I can't really say much since we booked via Airbnb, and the room might vary from others, but it was clean and semi-big. The beach was clean, had plenty of people, and the view was okay. My small problems were the water being a bit on the hot side when taking a bath even when the heater is off and you have to wear the red tag/bracelet that can't be loosen all the time when outside as a proof that you checked in and not a trespasser. My verict? I recommend this place. We'll be here again soon.

The place is great for vacations! However, one issue I had was their price of bottled water. All throughout the hotel, they only sell one type of bottled water that is very expensive for its size. Brand: Hope In A Box Volume: 330ml Price: 80 PHP You can buy more than 1L of water already in other stores. So bring your own water when you go here or find the hidden store. 😁

Overall, it was a nice and enjoyable experience. The beach is clean and the water is clear. The swimming pool is very good! A bit pricey but well maintained property.

Water service is inconsistent. Door locks malfunction. Resort EVehicles serve only from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Not everyone can walk far or climb long stairs. Food is below expectation compared to the price. Ex: too much breading on cream dory; used cheap sausage with hard edible casing; fruit juice were powdered juices like the pineapple juice. The hallways had molds & smelled strongly of it. The restrooms were well-stocked with hygiene supplies. The view is very very good. Dry season activities are excellent esp. coastline hopping, beach sports & early morning hill climb. The crew were all courteous; they must enjoy generous bonuses.

The entire facility is okay with a diverse set of amenities to really enjoy your stay like, of course, first and foremost the beach and the pools. The all-you-can-eat buffet at the restaurant is indeed 5-star. There are a lot of things to occupy yourself with like table tennis, badminton, bowling , etc. My brother said it's the place they've been with a wide sorts of amenities. Shuttle service from hotel to the beach though a walk is better and healthier. The only setback for me, though minor but disappointing still is that the room we occupied had faulty shower controls, faulty bathroom locks, broken chopping board. But the 4 star is mainly for the yellow band that we're told we have to wear throughout our stay. Said to differentiate us from owners. Discriminating and a hassle.

The resort is okay however no free service to pick up guests. The taste of food in the buffet most are salty. Rooms need complete cleaning likewise pool edges. Beach is nice, fine sand and calm sea however it only limit swimming up to 6pm and will open 6am. The wifi speed is not good. Room is not complete when we checked in, no towel, no coffee, you still need to call but the other room we booked already have that.

The room we had needed some maintenance, like coloration in the faucet water both in the bathroom and kitchen sink. You have to run the water for a few minutes to have clear water. Other than that, I still liked the place.

The whole complex is full of idiots, no one is responsible for something, wasting ur time on every step: first u have to register, after u have to register on the gates, than u have make another registration to get a loading card, agreed with admin or owner of condo “Carola” that will make early check in 7-8am but after we came here they changed and said that check in is only after 2 pm, calling to manager - didn’t have anything U can’t pay with cash and they don’t inform anywhere about that!!!! And the only phrase u will hear all the time: sorry, we are not responsible for that Court case - thieves(take ur money and no help no service) so if u want to spoil ur time u are welcome to hell

The place has become too commercialized. A company was doing their team building... buildings are no longer maintained properly, beach area has very limited space vs. the capacity of the hotel & condos.

Most units are leased to the public by its individual owners. Internal pictures are zoomed nicely to make it appear like its a very wide unit, but they are not. Since its between mountains, no good wi-fi providers will be efficient in this location. They are "find your own parking" style of parking management by the building guards. Some facilities are reserved only for the "members" & you will be ostracized or treated a little lower (poor) than the (rich) members even if you just want to view the "club house" beside the beach. The beachfront is even fenced between the private & public beach with a sign "Jellyfish", as if scaring you to come to their "members' place". You will be thrown away "nicely" to the non-members place & prevent you from parking or just "viewing" their members' "majestic" spaces. What a so racist private beach resort. Better for them to just close it to public use and put a high perimeter fence in the entire place so the non-members won't be able to see their "glorious" resort manned by "not so nice personnel". 😁

The checkin process took 2 hours. The lobby was old and tired. The condo room we stayed in had water squeezing up out of the tile floor, had no soap or toilet paper, had very strong air con that could not be controlled so it was cold but only provided bed sheets (no blankets), had very few outlets, one bed sheet had ballpoint pen scribbled on it, the phone was unplugged, the balcony was covered in rust and overlooked a muddy construction site. The staff seemed tired and unattentive. The pool was murky and oddly designed with odd ledges and "island" everywhere. One 4 or 5 foot ledge dropped off into a shallow part of the pool. The hotel restaurant had harsh lighting and the breakfast buffet had bad fried rice. The spa rescheduled our massage without notifying us so we had to cancel our massage. The game rooms were barren and had no staff. Towels at the pool were only given out as rentals. The exterior of our condo seemed to bot have been maintained in awhile: there were tiles missing on the steps and rusty canopies over the driveway. The retention pond/lake in the middle of the property was disused, not terribly pleasant to look at, and just made it hard to get around the resort. The prices at the restaurant were the most expensive we paid in the Philippines. And the rate we paid per night was horrendous for the services we received and the state of the facilities. The only redeeming quality is that the location is pretty. We did not enjoy ourselves at all at this place. We will never go back. And we cannot recommend this place.

The resort is really nice and huge with different amenities that you can use (pool, bowling, billiards, etc). The food served in the restaurant was good enough as well. The beach is clean and there’s a lot of space to swim to. It gets crowded but comfort levels would vary in my opinion - for me it was okay. One thing, the beach area does need more beach chairs and umbrellas. They serve ice cream over near the beach, everyone who goes should try it out.

had our outing here last summer.. great service by basically all staff. rooms are spacious (we rented a penthouse unit in Jacana via airbnb). the location is obviously not somewhere you can just commute but if you have a car, it's pretty convenient to travel here.

  • 3/5 Vincent P. 1 year ago on Google
The place is very beautiful but some facilities are not well maintained. There was an elevator breakdown in our building and we had no option but to use the emergency staircase going up and down to 7th floor the whole day! Water interruption also occured during our stay. Wifi connection is also weak

This is better compare to nearby accomodations in south luzon. Not cheap but for me its worth it. Family and friends had a great experience.

Beautiful location, the facilities are all generally pretty good, the pool is great and the beach was enjoyable. Service was not just rushed at peak times it was chaotic. Food was average for hotel standards and servings were quite small for ala carte
