The place was ok. Restaurants: They had 3 restaurants, one restobar, and tullys cafe. The main restaurant by the main lobby, the floating restaurant , and the one by the wave pool. The main restaurant had the best ambiance and view. The floating restaurant has a “kubo” set up, this is still i think in the process of being fixed. Since the fountain/falls was not functioning yet and the “lake” had tadpoles instead of fish. The wave pool restaurant wants to give off a beach/resort vibe feel with its table & huts, i just didnt see people eat here. The restobar was ok, however, it was not used by guests because it was sort of hidden. You can see it from the main pool but will have to go around pass the main lobby area to get to it. No quick access from the pool area. During my stay, i never saw people in the bar, maybe because at a glance, youd think its a function room that youll need to rent to use. Tullys cafe is located beside the main lobby just across the main restaurant. Food: For the buffets, they had a limited selection. Rice, the occasional fried rice, one soup, one vegetable dish, 2 meat dishes sometimes 3, then fruit (watermelon & pineapple), service water. During breakfast buffets they offer coffee & juice (cucumber/four seasons). For their ala carte menu, they have a good selection of dishes to choose from & at a “standard/fair” resort price. Note: if you have a “sensitive” stomach, best to purchase their canned drinks Pools: They had 3 pools. The main pool located near the main restaurant & main lobby. It was clean, had a pretty nice setting for taking photos either while swimming or resting by the pool area. This had a small kiddie pool (2-3ft deep, i think) & an adult pool (4ft-6ft deep). The wavepool, located at the opposite side of the resort, was big. They offer day tour for this pool. The waves were ok. Scheduled at 9am, 11am, 2pm & 4pm, lasts for 30mins. You can rent floatations devices(a huge salbabida) for 400/hour, and i think you can purchase/rent smaller items(beach balls, smaller salbabidas) by the ticketing area of the wavepool. One downside was that the pool wasn’t that clean. It had lots of debris(from sticks, leaves, plastic left by guests), a patch of frog eggs and a few tadpoles. The third pool, the indoor-pool, located to the left of the main lobby by the spa. This pool was by far the cleanest one. This could be due to limited access since you had to pay the additional fee of 350pesos to access the pool for 1-2hrs, or free unlimited access once you avail a massage from the spa. They have 2 pools here, one rectangular shape & the other w/ a figure 8 shape. Fare warning though, the water here is really cold. Oh when it rains, there are leaks in the ceiling. Rooms: They have a hotel, & two kinds of cabins. The hotel was ok. Hallway/lounge best place for wifi signal. The hotel rooms had good air conditioning, you just need to request for the controller to set it at the temperature you want. They had a tv, with a digibox, but tv signal wasn’t that good. Had intermittent signal loss or patchy viewing of channels. They had a small ref/fridge for you to use. They had the basic room amenities prepared (two bottles of water, 2 sets of instant coffee/creamer/sugar, 2 dental kits, 2 bars of soap, 2 tubes of shampoo/conditioner, 2 bath towels & 2 rolls of tp. Shower had hot&cold system. Toilet is equipped w/ a bidet. Wifi & phone signal were not good inside the rooms. You had to stay near the door to get good signal/wifi. The 2 cabins(the evergreen cabins & the classic cabins). I didnt get to stay in the evergreen cabins since they were fully booked. They looked pretty nice from the outside. Pictures of the inside looked good. The classic cabins were spacious great for families or group of friends. Better wifi/signal as compared to the hotel. Staff: they were the best! They serve you with the best of their capabilities Others: ATV track 800/30mins, rock climbing, zipline, archery 120/15 shots, massage/sauna 840/hr, butterfly garden, orchidarium, fire dance show, obstacle course, shuttle service

To cut the story short we were robbed by a thief at Room 2062 of Forest Crest resort, meaning there was a robber who managed to scour or room for our gadgets and managed to flee thru the same windows which were left unlocked by the housekeeping staff! to date no compensation was given to us in view of the hotel's negligence. So if this is your kind of adventure, welcome to a literal hi-way robbery adventure! Karma is real guys! Bahala na si Lord sa inyo. Room: is for renovation, yet we were placed in Room 2062! cracked tiles Toilet: dirty shower bulb and broken flush Front light: broken and no light at all In Room phone: none - so for cases of emergency, you would rely on your cellphone in case your cellphone was stolen, you will be left miserable and helpless as FO is like almost 2km away from the wave pool... CCTV: none installed in our room are, cabins near the wave pool CS: very poor as no one seemed to care if we suffered this loss and trauma

0 ang ibibigay ko kung meron. Bad food hygiene. My kids got food poisoned and experienced diarrhea. Also found a fly, a hair, and a small cockroach. Disgusting! Nasa pandemic pa naman, the staffs should have made sure that the food is clean and safe.

I expected too much luxury from this resort because of the price. Not the best value for your money but its ok. Went there with my family for a vacation getaway. Staff were very accommodating and nice, the 2 stars in this review is because of staff and how clean they have maintained the resort. Not really worth staying 3 days / 2 nights as a family vacation, I can see it being worth it if you came here for a free team bldg with a company or something.

The service staffs were good but the room was really bad. I was in cabin 3010 and I experienced the following: 1. the water heater was not working despite I specifically mentioned in the front desk that I need one for shower in the morning 2. the shower room floor was poorly drained. Water was ponding because the drains were not at the lowest point 3. convenience outlets were inconveniently located. I had to move a table so I can charge my mobile phone and boil water 4. walk-in price was crazy expensive! I was there already but I still have to arrange my booking through Agoda so I can avail of their special price. I will never return to this place again.

I was expecting more when we arrived in the resort as to what i've seen in the photos via agoda. I didn't enjoyed our room as they need some maintaining (not sure if it is the price but comparing the same rate with the past hotels that we stayed, i rank it least by far) and if you don't have a car you'll have to walk all the way to the reception as I had a hard time reaching their reception contact#. The food is a bit pricey too. But we liked their pool near the restaurant and the hospitality of their staff (especially Ms. Lorie and Sir Dennis at the Restaurant) are worth mentioning.

Good experience on the site when installing some obstacles of their tree top adventure activities, enjoy the nature of some century old trees. A wide area to stroll, a perfect place for gatherings and team building activities.

The place is very nice and relaxing, the service is good but it can improve further more, it is also spacious and the ambiance is very surreal. The only issues i had with this resort are some facilities are worn out, im hoping that they renovate it for future use, the comfort room is somewhat not nice, uneven flooring causes water to overflow which is very inconvenient, and you are restricted on what you can do inside the comfort room. Shower room beside the swimming pool was also troubling, every toilet bowl flush is not working properly, the shower is not functioning well, and the sink is sometimes clogged which is very inconvenient.

We had a great stay at Forest Crest. Our overall experience was great. My family and I enjoyed so much most especially because we can tag our dog along with us. Extra star for being pet friendly! The entire club is huge, plenty of open spaces to relax and unwind. Lots of activities to do as well. Our villa is also very spacious and cozy albeit needs improvement on some parts such as bathroom fixtures, door locks, etc. Staffs were all amazing from front desk, housekeeping, and waiters. Food is okay but taste and variety can be improved. One thing I hated is the wave pool's cleanliness. It was very dirty and we even saw live tadpoles swimming 🙈 We came during the holy week so they should have cleaned it well. But regardless, we look forward to go back again some other time.

The service was just horrible it was one of the worst vacation i had in years everything was paid for meaning you will have to pay for getting even one extra towel the swimming pool was dirty it looks like it hasn't been cleaned for years and wasn't even clear there was one swim pool at the back of the main hotel but it was small and only goes up to six feet i would not recommend this hotel to anyone try to look for somewhere else

Asking for pillows, blankets, flat sheets, toothbrush, towels, all had costs. 😳 front desk wasn’t responsive when we were texting when there wasn’t any phones available in the rooms. Staff we met the restaurant and facilities were great, though.

We stayed for a three-days seminar. The place is beautiful, mountain view, the cool climate is relaxing. The staffs are kind and hardworking, attentive to their guests. In food? I won't say it's not good, I just rate it 3 stars.

The room amenities are very dissappointing. Very thin mattress considering the cold place/location of the hotel. Displaced bidet in the toilet. Broken TV/connection. In general, rooms are not well maintained considering the high room rates. Very dissappointing. 😥

Positive - 1. place is spacious and have a lot of activities that you can do/or choose. 2. Staff are quite helpful and friendly. 3. Spacious room. 4. Massage is great with reasonable price. Negative - 1. rooms are nearby the national highway, 2. view at the back of rooml is the wall of elevated highway, while front side is the common street of the property. 3. Lack of electrical outlets. 4. Old and un-maintained toilet. 5. Huge useless cabinets. 4. Pricy amenities. 6. Floating restaurant is not enticing.

We stayed 1 night and whole day at this resort. Unfortunately, there were things that we did not expect to experience here. First, this resort is located in a big place so expect that the temperature is a bit colder than the cities. However, the cabin where we stayed lots of not so good memories. There's no heater in the shower area, the lighting is so dim, the television is black and white and the drainage in the shower is not working well. The next day, we experienced a terrible service. Some of the staff, especially in the adventure/rental services were mean. Their voices were so irritating and intimidating. One of the male staff who was working in the pool area and assigned to the ball rental was on another level. It seems like he has not received proper training from the management on how to handle certain issues. He even mentioned inappropriate words in describing one of our friends. We tried to calm when we heard how he described out friend. But in reality, we really want to give him something that he cannot forget. To the management of this resort, TRAIN YOUR STAFF properly and we hope that what we experienced from your staff will not be experienced by another client.

The place itself was cozy. Staffs were attentive. I just love how tranquil the place is. Food was good especially the breakfast. The room we had was clean. However, the wifi in our room has dead spots.

Underrated resort & hotel just outside Tagaytay area. A nice getaway for a weekend staycation and/or adventure on a nature park with club & wave swimming pools all in one place. Good for a whole family vacation at a reasonable price. Will be going back to this place soon.

The hotel and resort is now named as Forest Crest Nature Hotel & Resort. We have a nice experience there. I gave a 3⭐ because... SERVICE The services are good including the shuttle's driver are also friendly and patient. They have a well trained staffs which I really 💕 love. And they doing their best to give you what ever you wanted to request. FOOD The foods are really really good especially the free hot choco. There are some servings that I really like such us the carrot cake and fruit salad. There are also servings that I dislike such us their fish fillet coated in a batter and flour which taste like I am eating an experimental food disaster. 😂 Lol. I am looking for bread their to serve with any fillings but nothing except the carrot cake. The chicken servings need to add more sauce because they are poor in saltiness. Sometimes the white meat is dry. What I really impressed is their soup. It is perfect! Though I there was a time that I taste smokey flavor maybe because it was burned while cooking. I think this hotel is a fan of chapsuey and Baguio 🫛 beans. ROOM What I really hate about is the charges like missing pillows, blankets, bath towels. Yeah maybe the blankets and bath towels maybe lost but the PILLOWS??? What the heck? Who are those youth took home the PILLOWS inside their luggage 🧳 and baggage 🛅. I don't think they will took it 🏠 home. Some of lightnings and appliances like TV are not properly working. Even the heater. But over all it was a very good room. It is clean and elegant. LOCATION Since this is a resort, it is slightly isolated. The travel takes 20 mins to the market using a 🚗 car. And 20-35 minutes to the hospital 🏥. It is a forest on the Mountain 🏔️ hill. There's huge pool, zipline, many restaurants, huge 🧸🐻, and a lot of Buddha statue 🗿. I think the owner is not a Christian perhaps. My advise to the Hotel owner is to obey the law of the land. Pay your taxes properly. Use the official receipt always even though this was a charges. My advise to the visitors... Good luck 🤞 and stay 😊 happy. Be polite, and kind to the staffs. And have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Enjoy your day. 😚😚😚

Room is spacious, did not expect to be huge for 2 adults and 2 kids. Bed is small though. Water pressure for water heater shower not working. Wifi not so great connection though in our room. Be careful with their dishes specially pork. Undercook and smells not fresh, not worth the price. Go outside instead and look for better restaurants to experience the places nearby as well. Or got to tagaytay. Wave pool is almost great, but was dirty with all leaves and dead insects. Probably because it was very windy when we came (typhoon Betty). We rented Kayak, my son can't stop asking for it. Dissapointed because they knew the KAYAK has damages, but they still put it in the rentals. Wasted 400.00 for that. Over-all, if your looking for peace and quite place, to relax and release stress, definitely will recommend this place. Thank you for the experience.

Our room is bigger (20**) than our previous visit (14**). It is clean and it has water heater. It has a smart TV but u fortunately no wifi so smart TV doesn't make sense. Mobile data (globe nd dito) is also hard in the area so if you are here with kids... bring toys... Staff are always friendly and easy to talk to. It is far from Tagaytay proper but there are still attractions and food choices near the hotel. The in-house restaurant serves good food in big serving. First time we had the buffet breakfast and found out thia happens when there are lots of guests.

This place is good for corporate team building activities/seminars, or family outing. The land area is vast, it houses hotel and function halls, cabin rooms, wave pool, floating restaurant, activities area, and many more. The parking is also spacious. Nature walking is recommended when visiting the place. Overall, great experience.

It feels so cozy being there, the travel was relatively easy due to it being on the side of the road , the climate was so nice it's giving me very baguio vibe well, without the traffic and people buzzing all around this is a one in a life time opportunity that I'll probably remember even in decades, i love the service the food the over all ambience the staffs, and the activities i hope i get another chance to visit here , i highly recommended it , it's affordable accessible safe and a great place to make memories

Very accommodating staff. They have several resto inside. All foods are good and have reasonable price. They also have spa (additional fee but super worth it specially their couple package) where you can relax in their indoor pool and dry sauna, their massage therapists are very good. The place is not crowded even on holiday. They also have other outdoor activities like rock climbing, ATV, trekking, camping, and zipline. They also cater team building and have field for team building activities. The whole area is big but they have free shuttle van roaming within the vicinity.

This place is reasonable if you’re looking for a getaway from busy city life. Although it's a little worn out, I think a little bit of renovation will help this resort. My family booked the cabins and they are spacious for 2 people. What we enjoyed the most is the chance to breathe fresher air as the place is huge and enjoyable for long walks. They are also a pet-friendly resort which is what we appreciate the most. They also have wifi in the rooms and the TVs have Netflix, youtube, and other streaming services. The staff is very accommodating. It's just a little difficult to call the resto as they don't have a phone directly from the rooms. The only way to call the reception and resto is thru their cellphone numbers. There are only 2 choices of restaurant and both are only open until 10 pm. As we went in the cold season which is December quite a few amenities are not available. We hadn't had a chance to maximize the facilities. The place is ideal and spacious for families with pets, I just hope that they can make it better.

A nice place to stay with family or friends. They offer a lot of activities that outdoor loving people will enjoy. Cabins are air-conditioned, they have water heaters and you can also watch Netflix or Youtube videos in their internet tvs. Staff are friendly and courteous, parking is sufficient.

Waste of time! Booked rooms but we ended cancelling both. Not worth the stay. You can get a very nice and decent room for almost just the same price in Taal Vista Tagaytay.Reception looks fine and people are friendly but once they tell you where your rooms are you will be surprised how far it is from everything : from the reception, from the pool, from the main entrance. The rooms were very old, dirty and smells odd.The area looks empty and abandoned. At the main gate there are guards but where the rooms walls are open so anyone can just get access. Not worth your time & Money.Pls find somewhere else.

Had a wonderful Christmas stay with the family. Their activities were great (we tried their zip line, rock climbing, butterfly gardens, archery, spa & massage). It's kids friendly as well with their huge pools (i hope next time, there's also a heated pool). We checked-in @ their Skylight 2BR room at the glass building and my parents loved it. Staffs were really helpful and warm (Christian, Claudia, Nikki, Jerome, Danny, Dobbie, Reception girls, Kimpel & his boys at the activity area, the Guards and Kuya Driver of the Jeepney with matching long sleeves and tie 👍 I would like to spend more holidays there.
