We just ate at their restaurant. Very nice location and view BUT VERY SLOW and poor service at the restaurant.. It took them almost 1 hr. to serve our food and it's not even packed when we ate. And food isn't that good either. It's not that pricey though so that could be your incentive and the beautiful view of Taal on their balcony

We arrived and our room was not yet ready (because of the special request we asked) so we were offered complimentary drinks. Room, toilet and jacuzzi are spacious and clean, place is quiet and serene. Staff, especially Crystal is such a sweetheart. Everyone was accommodating to our requests. Food is delicious and fairly priced.

Like with all earlier orders, it was superb. In this busy life, it is comforting to know that I can contact you, choose a menu, let you know how many people I will be serving, and you will take care of the rest. You work so hard, and I sincerely appreciate it.

Pros Beautiful old Spanish bungalow The attic rooms have a old world charm with the perfect taal views Well appointment and clean Netflix, high speed wifi and service with a smile The restaurant has wonder views Even the entrance and the gardens are a beauty. Cons The main road is noisy all night The lower "cute" rooms are no bigger than a bathroom No buffet breakfast

Nothing can adequately convey the beauty of the location. In Villa Ibarra, your money won't be wasted. You received the best care from them. The meal was also excellent! Well done, chef! Amazing interior designs were used! Imagine having the best day of your life. We appreciate Villa Ibarra for making our day so exciting.

Thank you so much for the wonderful service and delicious food! Everyone is still gushing about the cuisine and many of them have requested me to contact you again. The two men you had with you could not have been more polite or accommodating to our personnel. Well done! I hope you'll look after us at next events. Villa Ibarra

Pleasant and friendly crew. The ambient and humidity inside isn’t that bad espec during summer. Not too expensive and have ample space for parking

Yes it made my day. Place was relaxing & not crowded. Overlooking at taal while drinking coffee with your love one is a great plus. Affordable food, cheesy beef caldereta is a must try. Sarap ng Okoy haha 4 naubos ko. You should eat lumpia hab2 while hot. Friendly & attentive staff. Clean toilet. Everything was perfect. Picture taking after eating & enjoying the cold weather. Place is easy to find just near Primark.

The food is genuinely great and full of flavors. The vegetables in every viand were cooked perfectly to match the specific dish. The Ibbara Bulalo, Pritson Belly (My favorite) and kare-kare were cooked to satisfy your cravings. I assume that the owner and the chef are perfectionist by simply putting an amazing for every customers they have. And also, it is worth commending their friendly and caring team members(staff). They completed our amazing dining experience. And with that. VILLA IBBARA is highly recommended to visit when in Tagaytay.

It has parking, it has view of the tall, it has a cafe and a bar, just a few stones throw away from starbucks petron and massage services Room 101 (i think this is the divine room) - better than the room w/ the 180 view of taal - spacious - has jacuzzi - has table and chairs. Perfect for room service meals - near parking lot, recep area, and their cafe - offers room massage Romantic room (i think this is room 108) - a little cramped inside - no vent system in the toilet area - has foul smell when you open the windows at the toilet room - has bathtub with jacuzzi - in the morning, lot's of monkeys outside the room. Kinda scary. Had to wait for them to go away.

Villa Ibarra is a beautiful hotel located in Tagaytay, Philippines. The hotel has a stunning view of Taal Volcano, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines. Definitely pricey. But was worth it. The food was served not as fancy as it price but was really good and delicious. Place is perfect for venues. Crews and staffs were very nice. It was even their manager who took our family photo. The place looks both classic and modern. Their suite that has a reall’ nice overlooking view was superb tho quite small. Overall, was definitely great experience but will cost you big.

We have booked the deluxe suite for 3 adults with Agoda. First thing: it is not a suite but just a room. Despite the confirmation for 3 adults there were only 2 beds, 2 breakfasts, 2 towels etc. After checking with front desk, there was nothing they could do except providing an extra mattress for another P1200 pushing the total price for one night to P7900/per night. Unacceptable of course! The room was up to standard, but very noisy especially the foot steps from above. For a hotel with such a price level the food in the restaurant is mediocre at best, Kare Kare almost without meat, orange juice just being Tang, fried eggs in the morning a complete fail... Overall: a complete disappointment. We will definitely not be staying there again.

I booked a stay here a week ago via Agoda at a very fair price. I wanted a room with a bath tub so we got the one they use as bridal suite. The room is separate from the hotel's main building. It's like a shack constructed by the cliff side... which I find very cool! It was a lush green right outside our window. We have the full view of Taal Volcano (and the steam coming out from it's mouth, haha). What I like about this hotel is that their facilities are still well-maintained even if they don't have a lot of guests. I think we were only the customers as nobody else showed up for the breakfast the following morning. Speaking of breakfast, it was very nice. I think we got the Filipino Hefty Breakfast which has A LOT on it. We're super full by the end of our meal. It was fine though as we biked to Mahogany Market after that. We burned calories by then. Overall, we liked our stay in Villa Ibarra. I've been wanting to book a room here long before since I saw the place. We attended a wedding reception in this same hotel a decade ago... now we've already been here!

Supremely disappointed. I booked for 4 persons (2 adults, 2 kids) with Booking.com. According to the hotel, amenities is for 2 persons only. Also, free breakfast is for 2 only. The staff was helpful though. But I might do Air BnB next time.

Definitely will be back here for the view. Downfall is the breakfast not that great and also they have to do lots of maintenance for the room. If they upgrade abit on renovation this place is going to be perfect.

Service: ⭐Very poor service. I think it's staff especially dinning area needs a bit more training. Food: ⭐⭐ Price: ⭐ too pricey Place: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐great view

  • 4/5 Momorio T. 2 years ago on Google
The place is beautiful and clean, rooms are well sanitized and comfortable to sleep in. Food taste amazing and the staff are very very hospitable. My only issue is that there are signs that clearly say minors and children are not allowed due to the pandemic protocols yet they allowed children in, to which are very very noisey but that is just a personal peeve. Otherwise, the whole experience is great.

Stayed in the Honeymoon Suite with my partner, and it was just romantic. You have exclusive access to wonderful Tagaytay views. The particular room needs improvement in ensuring bug prevention. We encountered some insects and worms inside the room, but I guess it should be understandable given that the room is established in forest surroundings. Also, the room was lacking one more bathrobe as there were 2 of us, and no slippers. Best recommend to bring your own in case you also don't receive any.
