One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. In my life. Incredible corned bee sandwich, and my wife absolutely loved her roast beef sandwich. Very friendly staff and helpful as well. Our waitress Kayla was great. Attentive, and gave us suggestions, on things to do in Cleveland. We are her for our anniversary. Awesome place.

Love Slyman's. This restaurant is very clean and well kept. Upon entering I was greeted promptly. I went there for a takeout order. I ordered the large corned beef sandwich. You will get a hefty portion of corned beef. It was very good. In my opinion though, the corned beef was a little overcooked which made it a little on the dry side but still very delicious. I went right before what would be the dinner rush hour, the restaurant only had a handful of people in it but I still waited about 15 minutes for a sandwich. The restaurant was very clean inside and they seem to have had plenty of staffing. I will return for some more delicious corned beef.

As a Cleveland native this has to be hands down the absolutely best place in Ohio to get your corn beef addiction properly taken care of, These folks know what they're doing and have been doing it well for generations stop in today And get one of these mouth watering delights sure to make your day the absolute best day ever! I was blown away to also figure out I could rent a space here for my entire companies banquet.

I've eaten at Slymans forever and I know what to expect..lets say that I'm incredibly disappointed in my latest sandwich. I always order the lite corned beef and it's more than enough to fill me up and have some for later. The sandwich I just received is sooo small. I've looked at pics of others who left reviews of the little corned beef and indeed mine is tiny. Idk if dining out vs in makes a difference but for the price and based off if what I usually receive I'm not impressed today.

Nice place. Sat at the bar with what appeared to be regulars. The bartender was nice. Didn't realize they had outlets in front of us until after we were leaving. The corned beef was good.

We had a party of five for brunch. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The brunch food came out hot and fresh. This is the Breakfast Burger with bacon, egg,and potato pancakes. Yum Yum.

Went for the first time tonight, and Amanda was our server. Amanda was the hostess who brought us too our table, and let us know that our server would be with us shortly, When we were brought to our seats, we sat for a few minutes longer than anticipated, nothing too crazy, but definitely longer than it would be for the server to come over and introduce themselves. We waved down Amanda, just to make sure we weren’t forgotten, and immediately she took control of the situation. She apologized for our wait, and we let her know it was okay, just checking on what was happening. She took our order, and unbeknownst to us, had asked for it to be expedited due to our wait time. I have never seen food come so fast to our table. Everything was delicious!!! The best part about our experience however, was Amanda’s attitude. There’s plenty of times you feel like the happy responses you get from a server are “half baked” or not genuine. This however was not the case. Amanda was one of the kindest servers I’ve ever had the joy of speaking with. She was quick, attentive, and carried herself with a sense of pride. I’ve never had a better experience at a restaurant with the staff than I have with Amanda this evening. We will definitely be coming back, not only for the food, but for the joy of being in Amanda’s company again!

Great ambiance, Three Stooges everywhere. Staff is quick and fun. Corn beef is to die for and they have a great breakfast bar. They also have a talented chef doing omelets.

We went here for the first time on a whim while out driving. Waitress was fabulous, and the atmosphere was relaxed, with everything being super clean. I just had a turkey sandwich, which... kinda hard to mess that up, and my husband had the pastrami which he said was good. Word of warning, unless you're really hungry , stay with the "lite" sandwich, the regular comes with a ton of meat. We shared a brownie sundae that was wonderful!

You asked for a deli, here it is. The sandwiches are very tasty freshly made and tons of meat. I personally get the small sandwich because it's way more than I prefer. We always have to make a stop at this Cleveland, Ohio staple. If you haven't experienced Slymans, you need to go today. All of the sandwiches are good. I highly recommend.

Great place to go for lunch. Food was served to us quickly and was really good! Our waitress was awesome. She got our drinks right away and came by many times asking if we needed refill or if we wanted anything else.

Out of all the corned beef sandwiches I’ve had, this location makes the best. Has plenty of flavor, never dry, gives plenty of meat. If you want an amazing corned beef sandwich I suggest that you choose this location. The staff is extremely friendly and it is a very clean restaurant.

First time eating in the restaurant. When I worked in the area we ordered from them a few times. Eating in was great. Although our waitress was quite busy, seemed she was the only one working on the floor, she was quite attentive and professional. Food was great! A little high priced but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Nice size portions. Was very happy with everything we ordered. Will definitely be back.

Pastrami sandwich was awful. The meat was dry and the allocation was parsimonious. Don’t be fooled by the stock photos, your sandwich will look nothing like them. Talk about trading in on a name.

Great service. I got my sandwich grilled, and my friend did not. He had way more corned beef than me. Amazing nonetheless. If you like a fat sandwich, this is the place.

We walked out. We waited 35 minutes and we did not have a waitress even ask us for drinks. We did not even have a glass of water. I had to pull out a bottle of water from my purse lol. Two tables came in after us and their orders were taken (they were closer to the back where the waitresses come out) There was one individual who was bussing and hosting at the same time. He came to check on us after about 20 minutes of us waiting, but then nobody ever came to take our order so we left. I will probably not be back.

First time here but will back in town in another week and will be returning here to eat! I had their famous corned beef sandwich which did not disappoint. Their menu looked delicious and I may end up here every night for dinner when I get back in the area!

I'm not sure who recently started slicing the corned beef but this is the third time in 2 months that I've visited and it was sliced with the grain and super tough. When I fly in this is my very first go to even over the original location on St. Clair but these last few times it has been horrible and not one person offered to correct it even after I spoke on it. These sandwiches are not the cheapest so it's pretty disappointing that I have to keep throwing away money. I've always said that this location was better than the original but I'm not sure anymore. The service is still great however and the location and atmosphere is amazing.

I went in and there were 6 employers and none of them greeted me. when I asked where to place an order I was told rudely "over there by the big red sign" The sign was hidden behind people working on the ac system. They got my order wrong. there was no cheese on my husbands sandwich despite having to pay extra for it, and they put the wrong bread on my sandwich. The corned beef was very dry. Overall it was not worth the high price I paid. I have better sandwiches from the deli at Giant Eagle.

Do you like corn beef? If yes, just go now and order the sandwich. Little if you are really hungry or large if you want to split. Lol it's too delicious to split. Service was fantastic.

Wow! Holy smokes! The BEST corned beef ever. A little pricey but worth it in my book! Burgers and roast beef are yummy! Worth checking out.

Great food. Not sure about the employees openly vaping in the kitchen while preparing food. Bartender seemed to be intoxicated, whether drugs or alcohol. We waited 15 minutes at the bar just to be noticed, only people at the bar! I'm not sure how they owners feel, but I was appalled at the service and the guys vaping in the kitchen while preparing food.

Service was 5 stars, corned beef on burger 5 stars but the burger itself was 1 star. I’ve always got the corned beef but decided to try something new, burger patty was ordered medium and no way you can cook something that thin to medium, for $14 this isn’t worth it.

Practically an institution in Cleveland, Slyman's is an old school sandwich shop famous for its oversized Reubens and Corned Beef sandwiches. Prices have always been high to reflect the large portions and are now even higher with the portions experiencing significant shrinkage. Service is speedy and pleasant and the weekend breakfast buffet is now back after a Covid-induced hiatus.

Very nice place and good food but the service was horrible. It took forever to order beverages and food. Sat for 20 minutes waiting on our bill.

Whenever I can afford it and I am in the area I stop by and grab a ginormous Corned beef and Swiss on rye or Ruben. Apparently since the last time I was here they added a smaller version of their legendary massive corned beef sandwiches. They asked me if I wanted a large or a regular Corned beef Ruben, and since I wasn't trying to eat an NFL football sized corned beef sandwiches that particular day I went ahead and got the regular sized Ruben..... And the pictures below are of the sandwich I received. I'm not complaining because I regretted ordering the small one as soon as I hung up the phone, and I was very presently surprised that the small Reuben is still pushing a pound of meat!! LOL. There is no such thing as a small sandwich at slyman's, a true Cleveland staple! Highly recommend to anyone who loves to eat huge delicious sandwiches.
