Great crew! We really appreciated that our DM worked with us to go diving on short notice and they went above and beyond by taking videos of the dive and sharing them since we forgot a camera. They know the best dive spots and a safe and professional dive shop. I’m a Dive master as well so I would notice if things were not being done right or equipment was less than good. Everything is solid with Seahorse. Good vibes and good dives! I also like that this shop is run by locals !

Went on two of their tours; Silk Caye and South Water Preserve. Seahorse is the way to go, the guys are so nice, knowledgeable and the best lunch I have ever had on one of these boat tour things. Usually it's some white bread sandwich and bag of chips, I have food allergies and go home hungry and nauseous. Here you get a real meal, one day was curried chicken with coconut rice the other BBQ chicken with vegetables rice, salad, fruits and a dessert. Plus Rum punch on the way back to shore. Seriously, good deal, good service, good food, and fun adventures. What else can you ask for? I'm a beginner snorkeler with past ocean trauma and felt safe and cared for which is why I signed up for a second adventure. They didn't even bat an eye at all my high maintenance.

We got in three quality days of two tank dives and two snorkel spots with a quick refresher. Good for all levels of diving. Home made beach lunch each day included. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with experienced and patient dive masters. Still need to pull all the good photos off the GoPro.

What an incredible experience! We went snorkeling out at Silk Caye with Amir as our tour guide. The entire crew was incredible, but Amir really went above and beyond to make the tour special. He knew so much about the local wild life and was excited to share his knowledge with us. He's clearly very passionate about the ocean and Belize. Snorkeling the reef was beautiful, but the real gem of the tour is the last 20 minutes or so when they pull up along the fishing boats and let you out. In just the last few minutes, we saw sting rays the size of a school bus, a pod of wild dolphins, sharks and sea turtles, not to mention everything we saw before that point. Definitely bring a waterproof phone case, because you'll regret not having more photos if you don't! We couldn't have asked for a better day out on the water and will only ever use Seahorse for any diving tours we do out of Placencia in the future.

An amazing diving experience, it was nothing short of magical! I did dives 3 & 4 with them to upgrade to my open water certification and Eric was wonderful & friendly. He made sure I remembered everything & that I was ready, checked my skills effectively and efficiently then we got to spend a lot of time joining the rest of the group on the rest of the dive. The entire crew was very friendly, knowledgeable and great about reminding everyone what to do to be safe & have fun. The lunch was great too on a beautiful tiny island and we got a mini bonus snorkel in afterwards on the way back!! Will definitely use them again, can’t wait to go back already.

Brian did an amazing job of booking my husband and I for six straight days (~12 dives) of amazing reef, atoll, and pelagic diving. The Dive Masters and boat crew were wonderful and shared local knowledge about the reefs we visited. I'll definitely be back to dive with them again. Thanks for a wonderful dive vacation!

My wife and I did our four open water certification dives with this shop and had an excellent experience. Our instructor, Eric, was calm and helped us acclimate to the setting with ease. The boat ride to the edge of the reef is about one hour, and the experience of diving along the wall was awesome.

We booked our first dive to Silk Caye through our hotel with this company and they were amazing. They picked us up from our hotel at 8 AM- the driver was super knowledgeable and shared a lot about Belize and Placencia. When we got to the pier they fitted us for snorkeling gear and boarded the boat. It was about 1 hour trip to Silk Caye. When we got to the island there was a quick briefing and then the divers left with the boat. We did one dive around the island. Mario and the team we super patient and helpful- my son is six and it was his first time snorkeling. (He had practiced with the gear a few times before; but this was his first time in the open water.) After the first dive they provided a yummy lunch of creole chicken with rice and sides. Then we did another dive where we swam out to another part of the reef. At this point we had figured out to swim with my son and we saw so many different fish, coral and other marine life. After that we boarded the boat and then they took us to more location to swim with NURSE SHARKS. it was so cool and my son’s favorite. When we got back we immediately booked the Laughing Bird Caye trip with the same company. Again, this too was such a great trip- a little more relaxing and slower paced than the first. I can’t say enough about the guides and the location. The cost about $100 US per person for a full day trip is such a great deal. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Great dive shop! Probably the best dive shop in Placencia. They have the biggest boat, and have a full crew manning it. Very friendly and knowledgeable and reasonably priced.

Kiran lead us on 3 snorkels off silk Caye. He was great: finding us cool creatures we would have missed and identifying stuff for us. Food was good, although the quantity could have been more. The boat ride was great and it was a wonderful day. Saw sharks, rays, sea turtle, and squid. Amazing coral.

The team at this dive shop gave me one of the best experiences I have ever had! Right away, the guide made sure I had the right size fins, even changing from a slightly larger size to a set that fit perfectly. Then on the boat ride to the caye, my hat blew off, and while I was like, oh well, it’s gone, the captain turned the boat around the get my hat floating in the water! That was Unbelizeable. The best part was my snorkel guide Mario, who was a wilderness EMT - he went above and beyond to ensure my safety. I was still recovering from a right upper arm fracture, and he helped me put on and take off my fins and my life jacket. He helped take care of me every step of the way. It meant so much! While we were snorkeling, Mario would point to different species of fish and come up and tell us the name of the species.. stop-light parrot fish, sergeant major, snapper, blue-headed ross, hogfish - he knew every species of fish! He even found the cutest sea cucumber before pointing out a nurse shark! After Silk Caye, we snorkeled with sharks, manta rays, and giant turtles; a giant turtle swam right toward me and Mario pulled me out of her way! Because of my arm, it was hard to self-maneuver. I never felt more safe and taken care of on a guided trip. Thank you, Mario!!! My 70-year-old Mom also had a great dive, too where she saw lots of sharks, schools of fish, and her DM stayed with her the whole time, and helped her remove her gear in the water. Thanks so much to the team: Mario, Marvin, Captain John, and the deck hand who got my hat!

Brian and Shawn (even though Shawn spells his name wrong) were awesome! The seas were rough, but we still had a blast! He even hooked us up with a restaurant that cooked up our catch and was soooooo delicious! Thanks for an awesome day guys!

We did two tours with Seahorse Dive Shop, a snorkel tour to Laughing Bird Caye and a river tour of the Monkey River. In both cases our guides were exceptionally knowledgeable about local wildlife, and the tour was a smooth operation. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience doing my Open Water Diver certification with Seahorse Dive Shop. My instructor, Andres, kept it fun and made it easy to learn and practice all the skills. We saw a variety of locations on the two days of dives (went to Laughing Bird and Silk Cayes) with lots of wildlife. The included lunch and drinks were also very good. Would highly recommend Seahorse for anyone else diving or thinking about getting certified here!

Max took us snorkeling on the reef while another group (same boat) went diving close by. He was super knowledgeable about the plants and animals native to the reef and his snorkel tours were as entertaining as they were educational. The lunch he made us was delicious! Then on the way back, we were invited to jump off of the boat in deeper water to see nurse sharks, huge rays, and a sea turtle! We felt taken care of from start to finish, and it was an unforgettable excursion.

These guys are outstanding! Great crew that's very personable and patient with less experienced divers. Lunch is excellent too! Book with these guys and you can't go wrong.

There were 5 of us in our group. 2 got their open water certs. The rest of us got refresher lessons. We did 4 dives and one snorkel in 2 days. The dives were excellent. We saw manta rays, moree eels, rock lobster, puffer fish, lion fish (killing several), nurse sharks and on our last dive, dolphins! To top it off, the staff and master divers were great. We felt safe and well instructed the entire time. I highly recommend the diving here and the Seahorse Dive Shop.
