I travel with them every 2 weeks, so d service is great. In placencia they stop sanitizing. But in independence u got to wash your hands before entering d compound. They also raised their fare to $7 one way, n for toutist I think it's still at $10bz per person. With mask ok.

Really nice little place! The staff are super friendly and the journey takes around 10 minutes to Placencia. We stumbled across this by accident after getting the bus to Independence. We were going to wait 3 hours for the bus to Placencia but found out about this service instead! Would highly recommend.

Sweet water taxi from Independence to Placencia. If you are busing or cabbing saves you a long overland detour. Google maps, says it's 30 minutes I would guess it's more like 10. It's a pretty commute through the lagoon down to the south end of the peninsula. Drops you off in "downtown" Placencia. Quick, easy and inexpensive. Plus awesome name... You don't HAVE to do the Hokey Pokey... But bonus style points if you do!
