1/31/2023 update.. I tried this place again. Wasn't busy at all. So here is my update review. Not many people here so the food was faster then expected. Had the regular cheese burger. Spouse had little cheese burger. Little bag of grease bag of fries. The burger was sloppy but decent! Hers was the same. We thought it Was ok.. The little bag of fries is literally half the bag. A lot of fresh fries. Actually good. I'd come here again. Also updated photos. Thanks ---------------- New place in Independence. Second time ever eating at 5 Guys. First time off state line. Both was the same. 40 minutes later, I get a burger that wasn't that great and a bag of grease. $16 for one person. I would say it's not worth it. I doubt I'll ever go back. There's better places to go.

Wasn’t busy at all on a Saturday night. We got the single patty and my husbands looked as if someone ate half of his burger patty. The fries are always good.

It’s wild how a proven burger joint can be so poorly ran by simply not having effective leadership in place. I’ve watched a line form for the last 30 min and no one has acknowledged a single customer. Every issue is a reflection of poor leadership. Do better guys. Food took 45-50 min

Burgers are always tasty and delicious. The fries always hot. The staff at this location is very friendly and helpful. Using the app to order takeout is awesome and easy. Plus they usually wait to give you fresh fries until you arrive.

This was the first time I have stopped at a "Five Guys". On the plus side, they had very good burgers. I liked the topping options, including fresh jalapenos. They were made fresh. Also, their fries were quite good. They start by putting your fries in a cup in the bag, and then they put the burger in the bag, and then they basically feel the bag up the rest of the way with the fries. I guess everyone knows that is their thing. More fries than even I could eat at one sitting. Unfortunately, I was trying to get home from the Kansas City airport. A 3-hour drive. I knew it might take a little longer than usual, but it took quite a bit longer than it would have taken if I had gone to another place, like McDonald's or even Culver's. Not bad, and I have only been there once. It is worth another try. I think they were only four people working behind the counter.

I usually like ordering from here but tonight not a single burger was made right. They all had the same exact toppings (lettuce pickle tomato onion) instead of what I actually ordered for each. For the price of the food that's pretty messed up guys. All 5 of you should be ashamed.

Being from Southern California, my first choice has always been In-N-Out burgers. Since that franchise is not available here in Missouri, Five Guys seems to be a local fav'. Not only are they super busy most of the time, they build your burger right in front of you on a production line. They pride themselves in their French fries and are very liberal with them when you order.

The food is always good to me. Some of the workers should have been in the lobby to clean tables off , to make drinks and etc. Still a good place to eat!!

Food is consistent and tasty. Price to value is where my issues lie. Don't eat here often due to price. If I want higher priced burgers I'll go to red robbin, or back yard burgers.

My first visit ever to a Five Guys burger joint. I was greeted by a friendly cashier, bonus points for that. I bought a hamburger deluxe and a hotdog with bacon and cheese. Both sandwiches were very good. Fresh tasting no complaints. It costs more but in my opinion the quality of the food made it worth the extra few bucks.

This was my second time to 5 guys, my first experience was really not good so I wanted to give it another chance. I will say this one was better. The fries were decently seasoned, not absurd amounts like the first time. Keep in mind the are freshly cut, single fried, French fries so they aren't going to be the same crispy fries you'd get most other places. The burger was okay, but I will recommend that if you aren't eating it there or within a few minutes then don't get it on a bun, by the time I got home it was little more than a gooey mess that I just tossed. Otherwise it was a decent burger. While they did a better job this time around it's still very difficult to recommend 5 guys because of the cost. A $10 cheeseburger and $5 medium fries at what is still basically a fast food place is pricy and it's not THAT much better than most other places.

Very dirty place, we had to clean our own tables in order to eat here. When we got here the employees were arguing.

Food was delicious, guy behind the register was even better! Very personable. He read off our entire order in his best Dumbledore voice because I was wearing a Harry Potter shirt.

Great food great service. The fries here are amazing. I don't like the Cajun fries but I love their regular fries. Of course the burgers are unreal. So good. I get the double with bacon and load that dude up with goodies. Why not? What else would you do here? Stand up and order a big ol cheeseburger you won't be disappointed

Let me start with Jack. Such an amazing guy and I really enjoyed his input. Fun that he provided humor when we went to order our food. A nice guy, and so pleasant. The food was awesome. Nice environment and I was so impressed with my food. I love the free toppings as well!

Went here right before closing at 9:45 I ordered and my interaction with the cashier was typical. She didn't seem friendly or cheerful nor rude. I ordered my food to-go as they were closing soon. I didn't get drinks because I figured I have drinks at home. My food seemed to take forever as the fry cook had to ring up another customer and the cashier was now cooking and the burger cook disappeared. My burgers were set by the fry area. The fry guy saw my burgers and dropped fries into cook. I had been waiting 7 minutes maybe at this point. When the cook realized my food was going to be a while he walked over and said, I'm sorry but it's going to be a bit on fresh fries, here are some drinks on us for the delay. Then when our food was ready he said I gave you large fries because of the wait. I was getting frustrated because I saw the girl set my burgers and walk away and thought , why is my food sitting in a bag? This fry cook too a 2 out of 10 experience and made it a 9. The only thing that could make the experience better is if the cashier would have greeted us friendly. Maybe I had a grumpy demeanor because I was starving. Idk, but not my job to be friendly and I understand she might have had a long day...

The food was delicious, the service was great. However I still have sticker shock over the price. I ordered 1 double bacon cheeseburger with medium fries and a large drink and it was $22.00. I think that's a bit much.

I like five guys more than most fast food out there. It wasn't my decision today on where to eat...but it sure was good

The night manager was super unprofessional making this establishment his playground. As I was there I watched him slide across the counter dance and sing with customers in the lobby, Yell multiple times a long with having a stuffed animal attached to his uniform. The rest of the staff had great customer service and remained professional. He also was on his phone at then counter while wearing gloves. The customer service was awkward and unprofessional. I would have left had I not been craving the food.

I love their french fries. Get cravings and have to go get some.

Update: Brad contacted me to "make it right since all we do is burgers and fries." Guess what? It never happened. The lies they tell. Ordered one thing for my 1st visit to any Five Guys. I ordered small Cajun fries. It was apparent they were NOT FRESH and had old dried up fries mixed in with a halfway maybe newer batch. They were stale and awful! I thought you Guys had some great fries. What a letdown. And they're 4 bucks for a small so you stole my money. We really don't have money for bad food at restaurants.

They never disappoint! Food is always amazing. It's always hot and fresh. Plus the amount of food they give for the prices they charge is fabulous. Nothing bad I can say about this place. The staff is super friendly, service is fast, and the food is fantastic. It's a nice treat to have when I'm wanting to spoil myself. :)

The food is always fresh! Good flavor. The hand cut fries are my favorite. The customer service on Noland Road is the best!

Usually a great spot, but the young kid they had on fries today let them get a little over done, but as always the double cheese was amazing. $17.00 for a double cheeseburger and a regular fries and regular drink is a little pricey if you ask me.

Food is LITERALLY cooked after you order. I only had some Cajun fries and I had to wait... which means the fries were FRESH!!! Not to mention they are pretty generous with the portions👍🏾👍🏾 Thank you Five Guys. Some things in life are truly worth the wait folks😁

Seriously a great place to get a burger and amazing fries. They move quick even with everything made to order. All the staff are super friendly and really seem to enjoy themselves at work. There are a lot of chain places on Noland rd that don't live up to their namesake. This Five Guys is bangin and absolutely lives up to the rep. I have been here atleast 10 times before writing this review.

The food was very good. We ordered a large fry to share between the two of us and it could have fed a family of 4. They were huge! And the bacon cheeseburger was huge too. So note to self, order the little burger and small fry unless you are very hungry!

I mean, if you know then you know. They won't always do the "well done" fries for me here, but otherwise great service. Caution eating here after a Royals, Mavericks, or Chiefs game.

Burger was very tasty. Fries were generous and tasted great. One tried BLT, said it was good and had a decent amount of bacon on it.

I don't understand the hype for this place. I got a small burger, small french fries and small drink which cost me $15 and some change before tip. The fries were over cooked the burger was ok but not what I expected. I was thinking it would be wonderful, very disappointed

Compared to some other locations, this one was not quite as good. I used the restroom which was filthy and had no toilet paper. The tables were all dirty, and the napkin holders were empty as well. The food was still good

The Best Burgers and Fries I have ever eaten!!!!!

  • 4/5 Natalie M. 1 year ago on Google
I ordered online, for pick up. Yet when i got there, my burgers were ready, yet my fries had not even been dropped yet. Although i appreciate the extremely hot fries. If it says my order is ready, I should not have to wait 10 minutes, for my order to get ready.

The cheeseburger is huge, with a huge menu of toppings to choose from. The staff answers all questions when ordering, and the food comes out with a lot of French fries with it. The dining room is a normal fast food environment, except they have peanuts to eat as an extra bonus.

Juicy, melt in your mouth, cooked to perfection cheeseburgerS! Hands down way better than a typical "fast food" place! Quicker to get in and out of than a restaurant with wait staff! Love that they give you an overflowing cup of fries and you aren't left with a cup only half full! Never disappointed with Five Guys! We'll definitely be returning again soon!
