One of the most wonderful stays. Good location, great views from room and super amazing food. The hospitality is unparalleled and one would definitely want to stay again here. My stay at Thupwang was superb. It was a budget stay but much better than luxury ones. Rooms are very clean with a great mountain view from the window. Sonam and his family is very sweet and helping. Food they cooked for us was delicious. Strongly recommended. Whenever i go again, I’ll definitely stay at Thupwang guest house.

We stayed at Thupwang for almost a week, thanks to the amazing hospitality of Sonam bhaiya & good food cooked by his wife. The place has amazing views of Shanti Stupa & snow clad mountains. They have a beautiful garden that has colorful blooms in summer & they have apricot & apple trees in their courtyard. They serve home made food for all meals, the food is so delicious that you would not want to go out to restaurants & eat! The rooms are clean & spacious & have a balcony too. If I ever go back to Leh I would definitely stay at Thupwang Guest house.

Wonderful people. Comfortable stay. Incredible hospitality. Me and wife Sapna, spent 2 weeks at Thupwang Guest House. We planned to work from Leh and required a comfortable space, in budget with a good wifi. We had the most memorable stays of our lifetime. Thank you Sonam bhaiya, didi, Wongdon and Dadi for making us "feel at home" Wifi: works most of the time. In case it doesn't, we switched to our Airtel 4G (postpaid). Please note prepaid won't work in Leh due to security reasons. Rooms: Clean, near and comfortable. Ask for room on first floor for a cute little balcony. Hot water is available most of the time. Rooms are decent size for two people. Food: Best momos ever. Chutney is mind blowing. Overall homemade food. Good quality and taste. We requested to North Indian style tea and didi made a perfect cup. Location: A little away from hustle bustle of city. Perfect. Pro tip: Request dadi to take you on evening walk. I can't explain how beautiful it was to walk around with dadi as she was showing us the area around. Me and Sapna will strongly recommend this place. Please visit here and feel at home :)

The owner of the space are very friendly and they would make sure you have a wonderful stay experience in leh. The grow their own vegetables and prepare meals for those farm fresh vegetables. They would make all possible arrangements for you to have a comfortable stay here.

Wonderful stay with such humble & generous hosts, awesome healthy home cooked food, spacious rooms with views of surroundings. They even have there own farm with local vegetables grown and cooked fresh for the meals. Throughly enjoyed my stay here, felt like a home.
