I recently visited Mel Whisks on an Friday evening with my friends and I don’t know where to start telling you about the place. The place has got an amazing evening vibe with foreigners, tourists and localites altogether enjoying the live music. The dim lighting sets the mood well for such an evening and we jumped to the drinks right after we got seated. There’s some amazing food for you to accompany the drinks and it is well presented too. The only thing that I felt the place was lacking at is the space. I saw people going back because the place was all filled and so many people want to get in. The staff was amazing in terms of hospitality and service. My special thanks to the owners Ayush and Rhea who were there all evening long to take care of everyone and creating a memory for us. Thanks you for an amazing time.

I recently visited Mel Whisks and fell absolutely in love with the Vibe. The place had standard seating with a breezy rooftop ambience. They serve absolutely scrumptious food along with good hospitality. Cherry on top would be the live music. Totally going to visit again.

Located in an accessible spot in Pondy, Mel Whisks does whisk you off your feet with its Goa like vibes, fabulous finger food even fr vegetarians, refreshing drinks, tea totalers including and live peppy music that pushes you to an evening of awesomeness! PS: I loved the paneer fingers as much as I loved how they weren’t ageist about the staff they had employed! Bravo!!

The food is average. The place is good to have a good time over some drinks. If it's crowded they do have a cover charge per person which is not worth it. Overall the ambience is good but I wouldn't visit again.

This place lives up to its high ratings… The entry was not straight forward but it wasn’t much confusing. People at the cafe were very welcoming. We ordered butter garlic prawns and chicken skewers. The food tasted really good. Good vibe.. must visit..

We went there on saturday 2 december at 7pm. A singer was there to entertain. Friendly welcome and food is good. Try the Burger !!

Mel Whisks resides at Heritage Town in the main city. The gastro bar is very much near to Rock beach as well. It is a rooftop restaurant and has a very cool vibe. The decor is lively. It is mostly filled with young crowd. There are different fun events happening every other day. When we visited, there was a live performance. The food is really good. Vegetarian options are great too. They serve alcohol as well. At night, it looks amazing. Must must visit! :)

Had really nice good quality time in Mel whisks gastro bar. Place is really happening on a Friday or a Saturday night. After 9pm no place to sit/ or stand. I really like the live karaoke with nice English songs, though I never heard some of the songs they were singing Food is ultimate with the drinks, it was going well, staff are really good n polite even in that huge crowd

I would highly suggest to go dine in instead of getting a takeout or delivery! My dine in experience was good! I loved all their starters and drink combinations! I loved their sausage starter the most! Yet when we swigged their pizza the crust was super hard and the toppings were also bad! We were not able to chew it after a slice it was that bad! My three star rating is only for my in person experience!

Easily one of the best Restobars in Pondicherry! This hidden gem was the perfect spot to satisfy my hunger pangs. Headed straight to Mel Whisks on my last day of the Pondicherry trip. The soft ambience and the rooftop was a soothing combination for the summer heat. Ordered: Alfredo Spaghetti Honey Chilli Potato Stuffed Garlic Bread Barman’s Lounge (Mocktail) Nutella Cheesecake (something sweet to take back home) The food was top notch! As a vegetarian, this place has ranked top on my list to my visit to Pondicherry because of the kind staff and such insanely delicious food without burning a hole in my pocket. I recommend you to try the mocktail - it was refreshing and the cheesecake has my heart!

The ambience was really nice. It was a full house that night and there was a live karaoke show. I booked for a reservation through Zomato but my Zomato booking got cancelled but when we went there and waited for a while they were able to accommodate us. The service was also really good so 5 stars for the service. The food was good, we had chicken skewers and fish fingers in starters and they were both really good. We also had a chicken pizza which was also good and the size was enough for 3 (females with a small appetite).

Loved the breezy rooftop seating and the food. Service was excellent and the cocktails are amazing! A few items on the menu weren't available, but that is understandable as they had just opened the previous day. Ordered the beer battered prawns, honey chilli wings and the pepperoni pizza. No complains about the food - it exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend to friends and couples seeking chill vibes with a nice view of Pondi.

4.7..not at all . not even one star.. really pathetic cheese balls .. cheese like an elastic band.. the cheese in cheese balls should melts in your mouth and not stretch like plastic.. see pics attached.. and the quantity for chilly paneer was really a small portion. really? that is what your serve for rs 329.. not worth the price.. I won't order again even if it was cheaper.

Mel whisks is the place to be if you're in Pondi! We went there on a saturday evening and loved the vibe. Space is an issue but being on rooftop and the layout compensates that very well. The best thing about this place is the food and presentation unlike others. The potato wedges were simply lip smacking. Dj was generous enough to take our requests. The staff was very courteous. Definitely recommend this place! Thanks to Ayush for hosting us!

Expensive but tastes great. Italian style cuisine. I tasted the margarita pizza and chicken steak and those were fantastic. They serve Halal Chicken and Beef (Supplier - Bismillah Chicken Center).

This is a very sweet place My friend took me once and now I've become a regular here. My favorite dish of the their "Chicken Chips" and "Spicy prawns".. Those are just amazing. We've had peri peri pizza, beef tenderloin steak, chicken steak, chicken chips, spicy prawns, fish fingers, panner fingers, baby corn, chicken Alfredo pasta, veg penne pasta ( pink sauce), honey chill wings, french fries, Margherita, Pina colada and a few drinks. Except for their beef, everything tasted sooo good. Loved their veggies and mashed potatoes with the steak. Beef felt a bit old meat, tooo cheewy. And we finished with blueberry and strawberry Panna cotta. Everything is so lovely, the owners are warm and friendly, except for that one old waiter who was a lil grumpy.. it's a must visit one
