The place has a nice vibe and is cozy and comfortable. The kebabs are great and we quite enjoyed all of them. They seemed to be fresh and nice. The raan was only okay. Nothing special. Seemed not worth the hype. The mutton lost all it's flavor in the dense spices it was cooked in and that's kind of pointless. The phirni seemed stale but still tasted okay. Maybe it was our bad luck. Definitely a good place for an elevated mughlai experience

We visited the City Center 1 outlet of Kaafila with friends for a birthday dinner. The ambience of the place does justice to their theme however some better music could be appreciated. The outlet is small but nicely decorated. We had ordered chicken Malai tikka kebabs along with chicken lababdar and mutton keema with garlic naan and kulcha. The quality of the food was no doubt great however maybe the value for money in certain items is not nicely done justice to. The service was also not so great as we had to wait really really long for our order to be served. However if you are craving some Afghani food this is the go to place.

Among the kebabs, galouti and kakori are the best in kafila....biriyani is tasty and of enough quantity...2 can easily be shared by three persons. Very nice ambience to chill out ...

For authentic Afghan food visit this place. The ambience is very nice and unique. The service person wears traditional Afghani attire. If you are in City Center 1, then you should visit place with your family. We had chicken methi, butter Nan and lime soda. Things to try : Biryani, Kebab and kadai chicken.

Absolutely excellent. That's all I have to say. I have had never heard of Kaafila before, but when I visited and had the food, I have decided that I am going to com back here again. Located on the 3rd floor, B Block of City Centre 1, Kaafila provides one of the best Afghan cuisines. With a great ambience and service, Kaafila is bound to make you and your stomach happy. The kebabs, biriyani and firni was just amazing. The service is superb and I couldn't find even a tiny bit of flaw to complain about. 10/10 easily

You will find this place inside CC1 B block, on 3rd floor. It's a theme restaurant (Afgan based). The food is excellent, generous portions and great prices. The service was fast and friendly. But the biriyani was the worst in taste and quality. I liked this place for one thing dim light & peaceful.

Its an excellent family restaurant inside the main building of CC1 having wonderful and unique decoration all around. The food quality is fabulous. Considering the price of the food items I must rate it as an expensive one. However the overall environment, service quality pleased me so well to get a five star. 👍

We had a lovely time last night at Kafila. Right from the ambiance, the decor, the food, and the service everything was smooth. The waiters were friendly and nice. The Afghani decor added a cherry on the cake. The chicken kebab and mutton sheekh kebabs were too good. We got cocktails - highly recommend the Shirley Temple one. Overall a good experience. All dishes except although one mutton dish were not up to what we expected.

Definitely was one of the bucket list restaurants and had a really amazing time there. The flavors of the dishes were spot on!!! Go on explore the appetizers! They are just the best ! The drinks are quite refreshing too. Service was really good , the waiters were really patient with us being so indecisive and guided us to the best dishes ❤️ The biryani ( Gosht sikandari) was a bit underwhelming for us but other than that it was quite the experience ❤️ We had : Irani macchi tikka , Lahori murgh chargha, Afghani Murgh Kalmi, Gosht sikandari, Maska naan , Kabuli Tandoori murgh, Rogani gosht , Soft Sangria

A very unique restaurant because of its theme. The theme represents Afghani culture. The distressed furniture and the walls create an interesting ambience. Food is a little higher priced than other mughlai restaurants but the service, food and ambience are worth the price. We ordered fizy gizy which is a spicy drink made with lemon, ginger and chilli. We also ordered fresh lime soda, Mutton Galouti Kabab and Chicken Biryani. The base of Galouti Kabab was crispy which is basically a Paratha. And the kebab was perfectly soft and delicious. Their biryani is different from Kolkata biryani. It doesn't have potatoes and eggs. The biryani was light, fluffy and juicy. They serve two pieces of chicken in this biryani. Good for two people. Along with biryani they also serve raita, which definitely goes with the biryani. Service was good. They didn't keep us waiting. And the best thing is they are ready to answer your questions.

Food here in Kaafila is delicious, specially their grilled items. We had a great time their. Only negative thing I want to address is, the don't clean the restaurant properly. Most of the decorations were in Afghani style and unfortunately those hanging pieces were stinking. For me it was really shabby, as the cost of the food is quite high. They should remove those stinky decorative pieces and clean up place for good.

Really liked the Afghan themed ambience of Kaafila. The chicken dishes were delicious and fulfilling. The veg preparations like paneer were also very appealing. The non-veg starter plate was amazing. Really wish to visit the restaurant again if possible

Quite overpriced. Not worth the hype at all. Food was good enough. Portions were small. The Lahori macchi tikka was nice and fresh. But the murgh pasanda felt like eating goop. We spent 3000+ for a two person meal and one chicken pasanda packing for home. I recommend just getting starters. A beer or blue Haven mocktail and calling it a day if you go to kaafila.

One of the best Afgani/mughlai restaurant in the city. This is my 3rd visit in Kaafila. Restaurant interior will let u fill that u are in a bunker. Must try their signature dish Mutton Kandahari Laham with garlic nun. They use a full mutton ran in this dish. I have tried Kabuli chicken, chicken biryani & prawn elaichi. Prawns are fresh. I liked their biryani, it has a different taste than others. Ambience is very good. Service is remarkable. Staff's are very helpful in selecting the foods. Continue the momentum.

The most popular Mughlai and North Western Frontier cusine joint at City Centre, Salt Lake. Ambience is as good as the food and the food and the service is really fast. Hard drinks are also available.

some of the food is great, some is mediocre at best. the laham, priced around ₹1.5k is absolutely amazing. we (group of 5... don't think we're ambani or something) had that with some naans and lajawab... aesthetic place. waiters could be a bit smoother. overall great experience.

One of the best places to enjoy kebabs. Food was excellent, I personally loved the fish kebabs and the taheri murgh. It was something of the kind, and I would recommend to try it for once if you are a biriyani lover.

The whole place is Afghanistan themed. The overall ambiance and the get-up of the restaurant is really nice and the food tastes real good. You should definitely go for it.

Was in the neighborhood. Looking at the high reviews, I decided to grab a quick lunch. I happen to be the first customer and when I enter the place it had a weird musty smell , which immediately put me off. Food was more of a mixed bag. Some kababs were ok. Liked the Sufiyani Paratha though, it was unique and tasted amazing. In dessert , I tried kesar firni, it was not good. Good place for groups or large family. Overall, I don't think I will visit this place again.

A good place with a full Afghani theme ambiance. The menu rates are quite affordable and the food portion of dishes is also sufficient for 2guests and the food quality is up to the mark. The bar menu is a quite a selective kinda. The only thing is the service which is a bit slow .

  • 5/5 Ahim P. 10 months ago on Google
An afghan themed restaurant with variety of menu ( biryani , kebab ). The food quality is good and huge in quantity. Biriyani plate is sufficient for 2 and it is not heavy . Kebabs were finger-licking. Different mocktails are also available. Must try items are - galouti kebabs , kebab platter , biryani .

Worst experience we had here yesterday. As we ordered food, it was taking so much of time and 2ndly I found hair in the soup and small insect in the biryani, i swear I'm not lying and other customers on the 2nd table saw cockroach and the lady started vomitting and they left later. We also left thn from the place. I showed the insect n hair to the manager and took the pictures also..
