5 stars for Changmai hotel. Best place to have a home style rice thali (Assamese style) in Guwahati. No fancy stuff out here....simple home style yummy food. You get to choose from fish, pork, duck, mutton, pigeon and eel ( kuchia) also. Pork and rice thali( unlimited rice and other items) cost only rs 120...is a must have in this place. Highly recommended place...if u want to have a no nonsense meal.

The place is nothing fancy but the food is just yummilious 😋 Yummy to the tummy!!!! A must try when you are in guwahati and looking for that wholesome meal.

This hotel is a wow.. Purely home cooked food.. Usually this place is famous for thalis.. Local food is served here.. Local fish, local chicken, duck, pigeon and mutton.. Quick service.. Usually crowded.. Parking is a problem but still you can wait as the food is worth it.. Price is very reasonable.. Yes do come here for lunch..

What a pork curry it was. So much tasty with zero oil....Just wow. One of best place in guwahati to have pork. Not to big but nice seating arrangements. Food quality is really good. Other items like fish, chicken, mutton are also available. Rates are very reasonable too. Parking by roadside. Cash/UPi payment available. Highly recommended for pork lover

Hands down, one of the best Assamese thali places in Guwahati. Food so safe and comfortable, you just can't get over this place.

The best place to have a lunch. All Assamese Cousin. Pork, Duck, Chicken, pigeon, fish(all kinds), crab, different chutney, fries, etc.. all in one.. You name it.. You will have it. The best part is that the price.. its not something that will empty your pocket. One more thing. The owner is friendly, the staff is friendly. Service is good.. Food is good. But here I sould mention they use Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Chilli) in meshed potato and few fries which will be hotter than you expect them to be. its not a fancy hotel. Its just like a road side hotel with great food. Better price. and better service. All kinds of payments are accepted. Mostly crowded during noon time 12-2.30 pm.

This is an economical hotel for rice thali only for middle class family, No air condition, no highfi decoration, but the quality of food 5 star quality. Mutton, duck, pork, kuchia thali available, must visit.

I took a bottle of water that was smelling like bamboo shoot from inside. But that day bambooshoot pork was not available. So it was understood that water bottles are not sealed but refilled. Once I rated 5 and still not changing it. But food quality is little bit lower than before.

Very nice hotel. There are about 12 people working. They are in proper uniform. Foods are so tasty and unique too. Service is very fast. They provide different chutney which are too good for health. All non veg items are available. Veg thali is also good. Pork lover must visit to taste their tasty pork items. Overall a very good budget hotel in Guwahati.

Excellent quality food available at reasonable prices. Pure ethnic cuisine available. You can enjoy Duck, Pork, Mutton, Swamp Eel etc. But this hotel is very much crowded during the lunch hours. So, takeout is the right choice

Desi food. Awesome food. Value for money. They give a run to restaurants with hifi ambience with the sheer taste in their food. A must visit place for good non veg food in guwahati.

It's a nice eatery. Most of the time, during lunch hour you have to queue up. Wish they made the sitting arrangement a bit better. Food is authentic and price is okay. Specially for pork and duck fans.

Food is good but they charge too much extra for packing.. For eg- I ordered one veg thali and one pork thali packing..And i had to pay Rs.280..If i would have dined in the hotel i would have had to pay around Rs. 200 for the above mentioned items..Rs 80 extra for packing is just too much...Highly disappointed...👎👎
