    I go here a lot because I work in the shopping center. I can’t name a time that I’ve had a good experience. This is the oldest lettuce I have ever seen in my life. I’ve also seen other reviews about people feeling like no one acknowledges them as an African American and I can assure that is 100% true. I’ve stood there for over 30 minutes waiting to just tell them that I am picking up an online order and my smoothie just sitting in the fridge because they’d rather take other orders than ask if I’ve been helped. I really like TSC but I’d much rather just go to the Ballantyne location or the fort mill location from here on out at least I feel valued. The bad service is one thing but the rotten ingredients are a serious issue.

    Went in today for lunch. Man they have all kids working there now, they where swearing with costumers in the store, letting there freinds hang out and wearing pajamas to work. They totally made the wrong wrap i asked for, did not even want to to redo it I just left. They lack leadership and it's sad I use to eat here every other week. Never again.

    This review is directed at the Owner of Tropical Smoothie Cafe at 9695 Red Stone Dr., Indian Land SC 29707.....I have concern for your franchise..my husband, granddaughter, and I visited your location on Sunday, June 18, 2023 @ 9:50am...we noticed you opened at 10:00 am, so we rode around Red Stone and returned to your location about 9:55 pm. Two other customers, one having pre-ordered and us walked into the cafe, door unlocked, "Open" sign not "ON". Stools were up on tables and counters, food and water the floor (not a clean facility at best), but most disturbing was no employee was in the store. We yelled out, we walked partially to insure no one was hurt. All of us waited till10:15 am at which time we departed without being served. I called the Lancaster Police Department concerned about your cafe being opened with no employee. The Police Department was sending someone out to investigate. We did notice a gentlemen leaving the cafe about 9:50 am saying the cafe would open at 10:00 am. He walked toward and behind Red Rocks Cafe and as stated above had not returned when we left at 10:15 am. I pray everyone is ok and the cafe is in good condition. Even though concern was my first thought process; the condition the cafe was in did not instill in me a sanitary place to patronize. Regards

    Hate to leave bad reviews but like so many other customers commented, I’ve had poor experiences with food, smoothies and customer service every time at this location and it’s getting worse. Not sure why they can’t seem to get orders right or handle customer issues better, but it seems like a management issue bc other locations are not like this... Pic is chicken pesto which we order all the time and doesn’t include spinach. Tasted terrible and when I asked to remake 1 of them bc my 1 daughter can’t stand the taste of spinach so removing it wouldn’t have helped, the girl opened it and asked with an attitude if my daughter had eaten any of it, which she could clearly see from opening it that she hadn’t, but either way, that was the wrong response and officially the straw that broke the camels back for me. Not returning again.

    i had a terrible experience here. i came in with two of my friends to get dinner, and was very unsatisfied. i ordered a simple quesadilla and clarified i wanted it with just cheese, but they put chicken on it and charged me an extra dollar. i had them remake it, and the quesadilla was literally just shredded cheese slapped on a tortilla.. the cheese wasn’t even warm. one of my friends asked if she could remove the bacon from her sandwich (she’s a vegetarian) and the guy at the register responded “if you give me a tip” and my friend asked if he meant cash, and he responded by saying he wanted her snapchat or instagram. she declined, and when she finally got her food it still had the bacon on it. not to mention, the guy at the register had a vape in his hand and was smoking it while behind the counter. i understand this is meant to be a fast food place, but his behavior was unacceptable and i will not be coming back.

    First off…my online order was late, which is no big deal, But to wait for a terrible tasting, not blended properly smoothie was the worst. That’s strike 2 for this location. Do better!!!!

    It's a no for me. This is the first location I've had a bad experience. They made my quesadilla completely wrong and when I returned it, they remade it and gave me a cold one. Not to mention the 42 dugg and lil baby unedited version they were playing loudly. N word and cuss words just playing like it was ok. Time and place for everything and tropical smoothie wasn't it. So yeah I won't be back.

    Ordered a mobile order, came in about 3 minutes after the estimated time... my smoothie was ready, but not my food. 15 minutes past the estimated time, I get handed someone else's mobile order. 20 minutes after the estimated time, and it still was not done. They then started BLASTING explicit, trashy rap music. Incompetent employees and horrible vibe in there. They seemed annoyed that I even ordered.
