    Went here with my family. We waited a few minutes to be seated. We were seated given menus. No one ever came to take our order, not even the drink order. We waited at least 20 minutes while several staff members walked right passed us multiple times. There was not a lot of customers at that time, so I'm not sure why we were treated like we were invisible. We ended up leaving after we got tired of waiting and being ignored.

    By far the WORST experience I’ve ever had. We were seated immediately but waited for fifteen minutes to be greeted. Young lady comes up, grabs our order, then walks away. 10 minutes later, our food is up. We have no drinks. And it’s only HALF of what we ordered. So we waited for 20 more minutes to get the other half of our food, which was then cold because I watched it sit on the counter for at least ten minutes as servers walked right past it. The server came and asked how we were doing and I asked for more Coffee. That took another visit from the server and 10 minutes. We ask for our check. It’s lost. We have no ticket our our food. So we wait for 15 minutes until a lady comes and makes us go over our order AGAIN because it was lost. Then, she walked to fix our order and didn’t grab our check. Which would have taken five seconds. So I grabbed the manager after waiting 20 consecutive minutes for our check. And despite our frustrations, the manager didn’t apologize or even discount our food. I understand the restaurant world because I did my fair share of it in college, which was only 4 years ago. But this is not how a restaurant should be managed. It would do Indian Trail better to close this waste of space and put a better breakfast place there.

    2 of the breakfasts were pretty good. The third option not so much. Ordered biscuits and gravy with over medium eggs. It came out with hardly any gravy and slimy eggs. Honestly didn't even resemble biscuits and gravy. They redid the meal and it came out the same way. So basicly all they ate was the sausage. They did remove the breakfast from the bill thankfully.

    Not a good experience here. The menu options are less and the prices are up for less then mediocre food. I've given 3 stars because the waitress and other staff that I observed were professional and working hard.

    My boyfriend and I go here pretty often and we usually have a good experience. The customer service has been good and never had an issue with our food that much. The chicken tenders are kinda dry to eat but overall a good experience.

    We got there and were ignored by the staff. Waited and watched as they put unused napkins and silverware from tables they were cleaning back into the box where they grab to take to a new table. So yes if you don't use them but touch and mess with those they will re-use them at this Ihop. I should have left. We ordered chicken and waffles. Waffles were not cooked all the way. The service is really the worst I have ever encountered. It always has been at this location. Never again.

    Waited 10 minutes once I seated for a waitress. Only reason I got one qas because I asked. Food took about 15 minutes uses to come out while there were like only 4 tables filled. Hash browns weren't cooked and the new French toast was bad. I prefer the original French toast and then at least you got 2 slices for $12's. The edge was very hard and couldn't eat it. I wouldn't recommend coming here. They the Ihop in Matthews.

    Went midday on a Wednesday, was not busy at all. Service took forever. My husband's tea stayed empty until he ASKED for more tea. He ordered shrimp and fries. He was told they were out of cocktail sauce and she brought him tartar sauce. The attached picture is what she brought. When I asked if she was sure that was tartar sauce she said "it was under the label so I guess" and walked away. My omelet was supposed to come with salsa, needless to say it didn't. I asked for it and she brought it when I was about 3/4 done eating. We will never be back to this location.

    We went on a Saturday morning when it was busy. I was expecting to wait a while but surprisingly we were sat immediately. Our server was nice and didn't write down our order for the 4 of us so I thought this could get interesting. She got the whole order correct and it came out fast and hot. After food came out it took her a while to get us drink refills, but stuff like that can happen when they're to capacity.

    It takes some doing to get me to score a business with low points, but I don't know what's going wrong with this location/branch. For the 3rd time I've visited here, the service, food, and final outcome have been the same. SERVICE: You're escorted to your seat and end up sitting for an average of 10-15 mins before the waiter approaches. FOOD: Below, I will post a pic of the pancakes served. I've never in the years of eating iHop breakfast (both takeout and order-in), seen any pancakes looking like that(flat, very small and almost like if they’re from the frozen deli), so I trashed them. The coffee is no longer available, fresh or even hot. CHARGES: I ordered a takeout, and this is the first time I've ever received an incorrect order. Out of 3 meals, I received only 1 and a half. No pancakes and one main breakfast missing. My mistake was that I never had an issue with the takeout orders before, so this time, I never checked the orders before leaving. What a disappointment! And it’s a challenge trying to contact the manager. WOW!

    It is obvious they are short staffed as everywhere these days. It seems like total chaos on who should be doing what. This is 2nd time we have gone and where seated(eventually) at the same table. It must be a dead zone or something none of the wait staff would come take our order. We asked three different employees and they all said the same thing that they would find our server and no one ever came. Finally a waitress came over to help us( funny thing was it was the same waitress we had the last time this all happened. She was very good. We had omelets and they were very good. Took awhile to get our food too.

    My experience was overall good. We had a small wait time but that's what you do at a restaurant when it's busy. I see people complaining about the wait staff taking forever. You have no actual idea what it's like to be understaffed and just doing the best job you can while working doubles every day just to survive.My waitress was so nice and attentive. It took her a minute to get to us but she was waiting on at least 3 other tables besides us.i have great respect for people in the hospitality industry period! The entitlement and lack of compassion and respect has diminished. My food was good and restaurant clean. So, overall it was a very pleasant experience.

    Great place for breakfast near Monroe. Took my grandson to breakfast and we had a wonderful time. The menu has more items then I knew.

    We arrived at 6:15 took 20 minutes to even get drinks ordered then she brought water and we said we had soda so she said she would be right back 15 minutes later I went to get her and ask if she’d forgotten us she said they had no tea and 10 minutes later showed up with the drinks tea has no ice hot as p—- now waiting for food and it has now been 45 minutes and still no food and there is only 3 families in the entire restaurant Bathrooms Are filthy and the waitresses are both sitting in the back of restaurant on there phones We will never eat here again and we will make sure everyone knows how poor the service is here now Picture of empty restaurant and the horrible waitress that can’t even get a drink order correct

    I went with my some of my family and we just had the best time! The service by Erica was absolutely fantastic! She was amazing; she constantly refilled our drinks, gave us all so much attention and we really appreciated it. She had the nicest attitude about her. We hope when we come back that we have the pleasure to have her. The food was also delicious; everyone was happy with their meals and drinks. All of our orders were above and beyond on what we expected. We can’t wait to go back!

    probably the worst ihop in the nation i will never come back ever. 1hr for drinks then waited 1hr for food and then it was so cold my kids wouldn't eat it. Goin to Zaxby next door DONT COME HERE

    Great Atmosphere VERY Clean New and Fast! Went in on Mother's day at 11:40 and NO WAIT for a table! I WAS AMAZED. My wife had Crepes new on the menu. There were many organic items available and surprisingly above the bar service. Now if they could watch my kids in another room I would pay twice!

    Overall a great experience. Staff is polite and helpful. Food was tasty and well made. Front door needs repairs, it really bangs on entry, but other then that good. They are hiring and are short staffed, so it is Taking a bit longer, but not by much. Will be making this my go to breakfast / quick food stop.

    Problems the moment we walked in. Ordered 2 senior meals, charged full price. Was told with the senior meals sides were only french fry's, mashed potatoes. Paid with 50.00 gift card. Server had manager came to counter and ring up. He still charged us full price. Said he could not void it. I told them the price was incorrect, the server told me I needed to calm down and that I had an attitude. Left the gift card and walked out.

    The location is short staffed and as such the service is slower due to staffing. While waiting to be seated we saw one particular waitress busting her azzzz!! Not only was she the hardest working server she had a smile on her face and even came to work with her small child instead of calling out. We requested to sit in her section, because we could tell we would have the best experience with her. Aleigha P was our server and she did not disappoint. The crape was fantastic as was the rest of the meal. When we come back we will ask for her.

    With only 1, ONE, young lady working as hostess, waitress, cashier and helping in kitchen where there was only one person, I would still recommend eating there. It was an excellent experience in all areas..I wish I could remember the young lady's name. She deserves a raise and to be considered for management of she isn't already.

    Being a fan of pancakes, it's only fitting that I visit IHOP whenever I have the need for some. Today was one of those days and I wasn't impressed with my visit at all. Everything was lackluster. The moment I arrived, I felt no warmth or appreciation for my patronage. My coffee ☕️ had grains in it! I pointed it out and received a new cup. However, this took my appetite and ruined the experience. The entrée was quickly presented and looked totally delightful yet tasted subpar! I decided to keep the leftovers for my furry family member, Chase-The-Terrier! Not bad, but very average experience. Will think 🤔 twice before returning here, #justsaying !

    I was apprehensive of going to IHOP because we've gone to IHOP in the past and they were not as good as they used to be. We were very pleasantly surprised that the staff at this particular location was very accommodating, courteous, respectful, and professional. Their computer went down right after we ordered our food and our server kept his composure very well and the food was perfect. I would definitely recommend this IHOP in particular. I'm not sure about the other ones. Again. My hat's off to the service of the staff

    Place had only about 8 tables full when we got there. Counted 4 waitresses and register girl. Service was very slow. Got 1 cup of coffee and finally another one just after finishing meal. Asked for ticket and had to wait awhile. Mabe young lady was new to her job and has to learn. Food was good. I will go back and hopefully service will be better.

    We came in right after the lunch rush so it was messy but they were working hard to get it cleaned up. Our food was definitely fresh and piping hot. It was yummy. I get delivery from this location at least once a week it's always good!
