Recently visited Don Diego's of Indian Wells for a swift lunch with coworkers, and the experience was impressively personal. The staff recognized them instantly, even delivering their favorite drinks without prompt. The service was not only amiable but also exceptionally quick. A testament to their outstanding customer rapport! Definitely a top recommendation for a cozy and efficient dining experience.

The food is very inconsistent and the last two times we’ve been here it’s been terrible. Starting with the chips are greasy and stale. The margaritas are terrible and the food is not a high quality ingredient. The staff doesn’t seem to care at all and the owner is never there. There are so many other fine Mexican restaurants in the area, especially fresh agave is incredible with the service is great. The only good thing with the restaurant is the patio, but why would I go back.

Was in Indian Wells for a meeting and wanted someplace close to the freeway. Pretty good place. Decent food. Service could've been a bit more attentive but maybe they were short staffed. Got a mango margarita and street tacos. Pretty good

Food was cold when it arrived. Ordered tamales which tasted old and where cold when they arrived Server changed it for hot ones but never came by to ask how is everything? Can I get you anything else? Lacks customer service and attentiveness. Don Diego's used to be much better. There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from in the area. Don Diego's will not be on the top of my list moving forward. Sad that it's gone downhill.

Food was excellent on all fronts, good sized servings for the price and very tasty! Not too long of a wait either. Desserts were also good and my family members enjoyed their Margaritas. Would recommend for a nice Mexican outing that doesn't leave you feeling poorly after!

9 out of 10 in our group loved the food! The medium house margarita was as big as my head.

Was a clean, fairly modern facility. The service was prompt and friendly enough. The menu seemed a bit limited to me. I ordered the fajita burrito with steak. Was very tasty, although a bit greasy and could have used a bit more meat. Portion was fairly good size. Would eat here if in the area.

We were staying in the area and looking for some good Mexican food, and everything we ordered at Don Diego’s was top quality. The ambiance is really pleasant as are the staff in their attentiveness to customers. The shrimp fajitas and calamari were done extremely well, and their chips and salsa were so tasty. The calamari are done in a Mexican style – so it’s like the type you might get in Veracruz, but if you can’t handle extreme heat, be careful of the salsa that comes with it and just use the regular salsa! The chile rellenos and vegetarian burrito were very good offerings. The desert was the most surprising and tasty part of the meal, it was a fried peach burrito that was heavenly! A great and satisfying meal after a day of hiking. You can’t go wrong here.

Really friendly and authentic Mexican restaurant. It was so good I went back three times, which is very rare from me. Great selection and very reasonable pricing for Palm Beach. A can’t go wrong restaurant

The food was good and it better be at these prices. Drinks are a bit expensive also. Service was below average. Hostess behaved as if we inconvenienced her. Server was nice enough but placed an order for shrimp tacos instead of fish (which I see as an easy mistake, not a big deal, and he apologized). Where I take issue is that besides coming to apologize, he did not check on us once between ordering and leaving. I was going to order another drink but no one came to check on us. Our table was mostly cleared before the check arrived and I've never had that happen before.

It was 105° out but the outside patio was still very cool under shade and with misters so that was fantastic. The service was exceptional as were the margaritas. The salads were very good but the shrimp cocktail was full of onions and very overpowering. I also did not find the salsa had any flavor although the chips were warm and served so that was nice.

Isabella was a great server. Margaritas and food were wonderful. The lone cantador sang Las Mañanitas to me on the occasion of my birthday, and Besame mucho for my date. This was our first time there but we'll be regulars, my friend come from LA County to pick me up in Beaumont.

Great outdoor dining patio. The service was excellent. The chips and salsa were good. I ordered a side of guacamole, which was tasty with the chips and salsa. My wife, my sister and my niece all ordered steak fajitas. They were served sizzling and smelled really good. I ordered three street tacos, carnitas, potato chorizo and short ribs. All were delicious, but the carnitas was the best.

Good Mexican food on a whim. I was having poor quality food at a conference and ventured out near the resort. The people were very nice, the service was great and the naked chille relleno with shrimp was delish.

Ate here last night. Sat down and was asked to order quickly as the kitchen was closing(7:45pm). Not offered chips or salsa. Cadillac Margarita was very good and the Chicken Quesadilla was average. Sat at the bar because it's usually the happening spot but just had to deal with the bar being stocked, cleaned, etc. Much better options in Palm Desert and La Quinta

We had a special family dinner here and it was such a great night! The food was amazing! There were 8 of us and we got the tower of tequila and it was so fun for everyone. Froylan was our waiter and he went above and beyond to make it a memorable dinner! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Good atmosphere, friendly service BUT you can tell a lot about a Mexican restaurant by their salsa. This one ranks down there among the worst. And that leads me to the food. Is there not a single Mexican that works here to tell these guys how bad it is? I'll swing by for a drink because it's close, but everything I've eaten here has been gross.
