This is a great place to study, the food and drinks are very tasty. I loved the atmosphere and service. The employees are very welcoming. Easy to find street parking.

Truly outstanding espresso! I had an iced mocha and was amazed by how good it was. I visit Indy once a year and you can be sure one of my stops next year will be The Avenue!

This place is lead by a very kind owner with kind staff. Not sure why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars, the food and the Cookie Butter latte was amazing! There was lots of seating, dope art work, great book collection and an overall a great ambiance that was reinforced by the kind staff.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting , nice and spacious and very nice when I came in was greeted. The menu was giving culture and history. The vibe was just right honestly. My drinks were on point especially my Chai Latte. I ordered a Ruth McArthur, Madam Walker and Chai Latte. All very unique in taste. The one thing that popped out is the milk substitutes offering almond, oat and macadamia.

The coffee was absolutely fantastic. I love great coffee choices and this place definitely has them. I will be back.

I love this place! It is such a good atmosphere and the Madam Walker espresso is soooooo good I wish I could drink two of them! I have a new favorite coffee shop for the weekends!

At the price they charge they should have fresh roasted coffee.

Delicious chai latte and lemon sugar cookie! The staff were also so sweet

Clean, quiet, beautiful space. The lattes are flavorful and you can actually taste the espresso, which I love. We’ve been twice since they opened and will continue to be repeat customers.

Make it through construction to support this gem! What a great local coffee shop, I parked in the back lot behind the Vogue but the parking garage is literally right across the street too. I had the special latte of the day - Cookie Butter, so dang good but I’m coming back for the Madame Walker with caramel, chocolate and pecan flavors! I had the breakfast croissant and it was perfect. Staff was so friendly and plenty of places to sit and get some work done. Put this one on your list for sure!

Great quiet and chill atmosphere with a lot of inspiring artwork paying homage to Indiana Avenue. Try "The Avenue Latte" which has house made sweet potato pie sauce in it 🔥☕🔥

This was such a wonderful place to bring my laptop and work today. My food and drink were delicious, the jazz music was calming. The artwork is rich and there are a lot of different kinds of seating options depending on what vibe you're looking for. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The Avenue is a pleasant coffee shop in Broadripple. The rich Indiana Avenue Art, names, etc around the shop are an excellent addition for the Broadripple Audience to gain exposure to. The Ruth McArther Latte (Lavender/Honey) is so delicious it's challenging to put down sip after sip - I really like the "FoamAroma" lids they chose as well for to-go cups; it's the thoughtful details that The Avenue capitalizes on! Go check it out!

Black Excellence PERIOD!!! The food and drink are good too!!! Staff is warm and friendly. Visited Indy from Nashville, TN over the Thanksgiving Holiday week '2023... visit The Avenue 3 times that week. Absolutely Fantastic!!!

The Black Joy Latte was one of the best lattes I've ever had! I highly recommend this spot. In addition to the great drinks, it has a nice vibe and good service.

First time visiting today and I love this place! Extremely chill environment with nice jazz music in the background. Includes a cozy reading area with comfy chairs and interesting art pieces depicting black culture as well as pieces of historical downtown Indianapolis. The drinks are unique and delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast sandwich as well!

Thank you Avenue Coffee House for just existing. You helped start my birthday weekend off right. This place is a whole vibe with great artwork, jazz playing and history. I had the Madam Walker espresso with macadamia milk and a fried egg and cheese croissant which both were amazing. This is my family’s new coffee shop.
