Only 1 star because it’s required. Didn’t even stay. Checked in after a long drive and immediately turned off by the unmentioned construction all over the grounds. Looked forward to a dip in the pool (closed) also not mentioned. Lipstick stains on the walls welcomed us in our room. As any frequent traveler should do, I pulled back the sheets and was greeted by stains that I don’t even want to know what caused. Floors un vacuumed (like seriously?) bathroom floors were sticky and what looked to be glitter all over the floor. Used the restroom and was unable to flush, but noticing a mouse trap behind the toilet... was the last straw. Absolutely disgusting. Pictures online do not reflect the hotel, and the reviews on the booking sites are clearly filtered because until you go to Wyndham’s site you only see 4-5 stars. Would love to share pictures.

This hotel deserves negative stars. This is an ABSOLUTELY FILTHY, OVER PRICED, and COMPLETELY MISMANAGED HOTEL. 1. At the check in itself, I was told to drive/walk to another area to get into the hotel. The instructions were completely vague and after wasting some time, I had to come back to the reception to ask more specific directions. 2. At the public entrance to the rooms area, it was obvious that the hotel has not been maintained for a while and has fallen into disrepair. The entrance areas were full of cobwebs, grossly dirty, with trash lying everywhere. 3. As soon as we entered through the public doors, the stench hit us, and we were greeted by filthy and sticky carpet which was torn at places. 4. The central courtyard of the hotel was occupied by workmen who seemed to be cutting some trees, and the noise from their machines and saws made any rest impossible. 5. Only one of the elevators appeared to work. 6. The carpet in the room was grossly dirty and sticky. The bed linen was visibly stained. Many of the lamps did not work. AC was broken and there was no way it could be adjusted. Trash (perhaps from a previous guest) was lying on the floor. The phone in the room did not work. 7. The toilet seat was stained. Taps/faucets did not work properly. Specifically, there was no way to adjust water temperature and the sink faucet gave only boiling water. 8. We came back from a social event around 11:30 PM. The doors in the public entrance areas were not locked raising a huge security concern. Then our room key did not work. When I called the front office, I was told I will have to come to the front office because there is no one to bring the keys to me. I, along with my wife, had to walk out of the hotel again, pick up the car from the parking area, drive to the reception area, park the car again, and walk to the receptionist. Notwithstanding that, the attitude of the receptionist, at that hour of the night, was singularly condescening and unpleasant. This was the last straw for us. I was already concerned about health and safety of myself, my family, and our belongings, and on top of it I recieved this most negative customer service. 9. I checked out in the middle of the night, because I realized that I and my family are NOT SAFE here. 10. I was charged over $125.00 for this FILTHY room where there was direct threats to my health, safety, and well being. Perhaps I should have read the reviews before booking. Instead, I relied on the brand name of Wyndham and Ramada, which was a huge error in retrospect.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not come here. This place is gross. Stains everywhere. The lights wouldn’t work. Had to ask for a light bulb and he gave me a used one from their office he pulled out of a light. The tv wouldn’t work and stayed on one channel. According to other reviews it’s been weeks since that has worked. The place is dirty full of people running and yelling in the halls. The pool is nice but looks very poorly maintained. The amount of kids here makes for a very loud stay. I have no issue with kids but it’s hard to sleep at night. The bed is uncomfortable. The location is bad due to the parking lot being terrible. I got lost trying to find the front desk with no signs saying where the front desk is. There’s roaches. It looks like it’s never been swept. I mean what couldn’t go wrong at a hotel already has here. This place needs shut down. It’s unsanitary. Stay away!

Absolutely disgusting. Floors were covered in stuff throughout the whole hotel like it'd never been swept. Bugs in our room. Bathroom door had punch holes. Breakfast was a joke. Pool was never over. Door didn't close right. Sink was cracked. Tub dripped constantly. Food and toys stuffed behind the headboard! Nasty! I choice Ramada because I've had good experiences in the past. I will never Stay at one again. Didn't even get the room I booked!! Half the light switches didn't work. Room smells clean but was nasty. Halls smell horrible. Half the stairs doors to go up or done are broken. Absolutely joke.

Overall gross. Floors were sticky hot tub was green and pool is dirty. Tv didn’t work. Stains on carpet and curtains. Smelled weird. Lights looked like they were ripped out of the ceiling. Pictures online look way nicer than this place actually is. 0 stars do not stay here.

Pros: We reserved a room with two queen beds and were given a room with one queen bed. But after going to the front desk this was resolved quickly and we were moved to another room. The indoor pool also looked decent, though we didn’t have the chance to use it. The beds were decent. Cons: That said, the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the room was really lacking. Big stain on the carpet, fingerprints all over the mirror, and some pest trap in the bathroom. (I suspect cockroaches, as I saw a baby roach later in the evening.) There was also random construction stuff lying about, like large loose tiles in one of the walkways. The floor in the breakfast area was extremely sticky. The breakfast was also pretty sad. It consisted of a couple choices of cold cereal, toast, and coffee. Thankfully our kids were excited to have sugary cereal, though we were disappointed that there wasn’t anything substantive, no fruit, and not even drinking water available. The TV was also set to the wrong input and we couldn’t get it to work, though both my wife and I are pretty tech savvy. Even more frustrating, we were unable to get the shower/bath to work at all. We were also disappointed that each bed just had two pillows. Overall, this seemed more like a Motel 6 than a Ramada. The price is high for what you get.

Both times, could not get a clean room ,took 3 tries switching rooms first time. Could tell it was not clean but got over it _ second stay took 5 different rooms I had to walk to that were all dirty. The first one I went in that was clean before I even set my bags down. A cockroach crawled across the floor right in front of my feet. When the front desk tried to give me the room next-door didn’t want to, but said OK finally ended up on the first floor by the pool and the whole room smells like mildew so bad I had to leave. finally ended up on the first floor by the pool and the whole room smells like mildew so bad I had to leave

We stayed in room 243 and the room itself was in pretty good condition. The view was amazing other then the large amounts of mattresses and other furniture outside. The hair dryer was absolutely horrible, it burned the ends of my hair. The fitness room wasn’t even open, it looked like it hadn’t been touched in months. The hot tub and pool were good. The bed was comfortable and the room stayed at a good temperature. The couch in our room was broken. No one came to the front desk after we rang the bell and yelled for 10 minutes. But when we checked in the lady was really nice.

After I arrived at check-in, the first room that I'm put in is filthy dirty, has bodily fluids all over the place no smoke detector, broken AC and toilet, so I seek help from the front desk, they proceeded to move me to three or four other rooms with similar issues. Filthy dirty, blood and feces on sheets as well as window coverings. The last room they moved us to, the shower didn't function at all. This entire process took about 4 hours after check in for them to be able to sort it without actually ever solving the problem. The amenities that were advertised were false. The elevators were all broken, the stairs were broken down and unsafe, the"heated" pool was frigid and disgusting 🤮. The breakfast they served had expired about 3/4 days prior. There were also signs of water damage and fire hazard and burnt outlets all over the building. The entrances were all unlocked all hours and anyone could just walk right into the hotel and be walking around the halls. There were drug deals and violence in the parking lot. And the whole place reeked of mold. The owners / manager as well as the maintenance man seemed utterly clueless and incapable of running an establishment properly. DON'T waste your money here!!! Unsafe, unsanitary, and incompetent management. You are better off sleeping in your car.

DO NOT stay here. This place looks lovely from the outside, and in the pictures but is nothing like it. It is the most miserable, depressing, and dirty hotel I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately this was booked for us and we couldn’t get our money back otherwise we would’ve turned around the moment we entered. The stale smell on entering through (unsecure)entrance 4 was the first thing to hit you. Carpets through all corridors and stairs had not been vacuumed in months. The room was disgusting. No carpets on the floor (which I’m actually grateful for). It was sticky and stained. Dirt, cockroaches (dead and alive!), false eyelashes and hair on the floor. Curtains were stained and window area was moldy. Chairs had holes in them, only 2 sockets on outside wall which were on a timer, no other way of charging electrical items. I probably could have moved the fridge to find another socket, but wasn’t sure what else I would find! Bathroom was the worst part and had clearly not been cleaned before we arrived. The floor was disgusting, like the bedroom area, but on top the toilet was so dirty beyond anything I’ve seen before and the shower/bath was moldy and had dead bugs on it. The towels were stained and dirty, and the shampoo and shower gel bottles were half used. Hairs around the sink area. We did complain and they did go in, but not much of an improvement other than putting a horrendous lemon smelling thing in and turning the dusty dirty ac unit on. Toilet was marginally better and we were given new towels. But our new shampoo, conditioner and razor disappeared! I ended up buying toilet cleaner and antibacterial wipes and cleaning the bathroom myself. Not what you expect when you’re paying $110 a night!!

Though we had a half decent experience with Nakisha, the entire stay was downhill from there. We had to stay here with 9 students we brought for a convention because our original hotel room flooded and this was all that was left in the city. Being a school group who had to fund raise for this event, we were limited as to where we could stay. Then we figured out why they had availability. Even refurbished, the rooms are disgusting. We had to move rooms 3 times. Once for the toilet overflowing into the floor with stool that had been there from the previous person. Our entire room smelled like sewage. Then were given a room that didn’t have 2 beds as requested. Last, our female students’ room was connected to a room with a strange man in it and that door wouldn’t lock between the two. All of this between the hours of 2-3am. The following morning, a hair dryer exploded in my hand. The man who evidently owns the building, refused to honor the promise that Nakisha made to us that morning. It was a horrible experience, it isn’t in a safe area, and is terribly overpriced for what it is.

I only gave 1 star because 0 wasn’t an option. We booked this hotel for 2 nights but after checking in to our room, the condition of the room was filthy. The sheets had stains, the bathroom had hairs all over and it smelled like someone had urinated all over the floor. The entire place, including the parking lot was not a safe place for a family. We kindly asked to cancel our reservation and were told we would need to get permission from the manager David to do so. David is conveniently always out of the office when we call to speak to him and it has now been a month without any response or refund of any kind. I will never stay at a Ramada again after this and certainly would advise staying anywhere else before choosing this hotel.

Dirty rooms. Stains and one dirty sock behind the chairs. Was supposed to have a King. Walked in to two queens just for me to walk around constantly while preparing for event. Ended up checkn out right after event and not staying. Lady at desk wouldn't even give me a time stamped check out because she didn't want to do it before midnight audit or something of the sort. I had some hours back and just wanted to go already. Took pics of me with the check out paper that she gave me with no check out information for proof for complaint and refund request through Wyndham

They were in the process of remodeling but had not finished the room we were in. The location was perfectly situated near where I went for my business trip. Also, the floor was new and the bedding was really lovely but that was it. The tub was so filthy that I didn't even want to be in the bathroom, so there was no bathing for us. There were so many cobwebs in the room that it felt more like a haunted house than a hotel room. The cloth furnishings were so dirty that it looked like someone had rubbed charcoal or dirty motor oil on it. Needless to say, we didn't stay.

So where do I begin we checked in and the lady told us to go to door 5 and walk up to the second story. The door was not marked and the number was hidden behind the light and you couldn’t see the number. When we asked one the staff where door 5 was he said can’t you see door 5 is right there. He also told us to just look. Before we walked up the steps we seen a sign that said no smoking and also had a no pot sign on it. Walked in the unsecured outside doors (that were broken and couldn’t be secure) the smell of pot was strong. Went into our room and there was dirt on the floors and the shower looked they let Sasquatch shower in it ( a bunch of hair.) two half bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Two really rough towels and wash clothes ( and they never gave us more towels for a four day stay.) I went to sit on my bed and the bed flipped onto the floor. The base was super small. The tv wouldn’t turn on to cable and the fridge was so hot it could be a microwave. I tried to call the desk and every option on the phone and it was busy. I walked to the lobby (no elevator worked) and there was no one at the desk. I rang the bell and was greeted by a person sitting on the couch in the lobby and asked what I needed. I explained my situation and the guy that showed up 30 mins later told me that they would not fix our room till the next day it was 8:30 p.m. Our shower held so much water you could of took a bath at the same time. I will tell you that the halls were so dirty that it made a hour by hour hotel look nice. Don’t forget to mention the pool was closed twice in our four days for a private event ( this place books a ton of people that don’t stay there. And take the people that are staying there and tell them sorry) I would not stay here again. The picture on there website are lies. I went to go the fitness facility and could not get in because there were ten tvs piled by the door not to mention there were room apoun rooms filled with junk. The tiles had leaks and nasty stains. A guest in the back of the building asked us what drugs we were there to buy. They were burning the old furniture right outside our room. Bad bad bad. We left a night early because it was so bad and the guy at the desk said well I’m sorry.

DISGUSTING! 1st room had no beds & construction equipment packed into it, 2nd had an bathroom that hadn’t been cleaned, toilet still had remains from the last guest & a broken door, pool had holes & wires hanging in it, hot tub had a brown film over the water, there were cockroaches & bugs everywhere, mouse traps holding doors open, didn’t even stay through my booking or through to the end of the event I was there for. I had to call to get my deposit back & they tried to tell me I smoked in the room. Will never stay here again!!!

Considering all the horror stories of this hotel which I mistakenly booked on Expedia, it was alright, could've been worse. For the price it was passable. Room was fine. I did see one cockroach in the morning while leaving though. Strong mildewy/moldy smell throughout the halls and somewhat in the room though. It took a while for the shower water to warm up. The breakfast was lacking only cereal and English muffins, and the milk looked gross but the coffee was OK. The hotel was kinda creepy looking very deserted inside and outside. I wouldn't recommend them given their track record, but I guess you could do worse when stopping by for the night and the price is relatively low for the night. Assuming you don't get one of the worst rooms, that is.

Absolutely do not stay here if you don’t enjoy having a working/clean shower, or a clean bed. I went to check in and the place seems nice from the outside, nicely painted and well maintained. Then you get inside to the lobby, which is also very nice and maintained. Makes you think sweet I just absolutely stole this hotel room for under $100. Then as soon as the front desk lady told us to turn left out of the lobby and into the pool area, no lie, felt like a jump scare. There were holes in the walls, furniture stacked up in the halls, and filthy all around. Then we get to our room, and the door is peeling off of itself, the door doesn’t shut all of the way and when we entered it was not any better. The first thing I did was check the bathroom. There were holes in the wall, the bathroom was disgusting, and the shower did not even turn on. We spent a total of 5 minutes in this room before we decided to set our keys at the front desk and continue with our drive. The rooms are a huge catfish and I warn you that if you stay here you will have a close, or worse experience than I did. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE

We checked in, found our room and in less then 2 minutes walked out. Went to the front desk to tell him we were checking out and would like our money back. DO NOT STAY HERE! Seemed like a decent place on the outside, between our family who also booked rooms (3 total) we all ended up leaving due to the condition of this place. We were the last ones to arrive for our overnight stay, when entering the room the lights wouldn't even turn on, it wasn't the correct bed situation we had reserved online, no smoke detector in the room just wires hanging, I didn't even make it in to the bathroom to check it out because I saw 2 cockroaches in the room. Turned around and walked out of the room, called our other family and said we aren't staying here. Other family had issues that their door wouldn't even shut, once that was fixed it still wasn't able to lock properly. They weren't offered another room either. A few family members tried to eat at the restaurant in the "hotel" and the waitress told them the ice tea is several months old, i think its been expired for awhile. They ended up leaving the restaurant and going elsewhere to eat for dinner. When i went to the front desk i was asked if i would like another room, i told the man no i want to checkout and get my money refunded. Not sure if the money has been refunded yet or not, but another family member was charged more money after checking out because of the cockroaches. Ended up going about 10 minutes down the road and luckily found a very nice hotel who had 3 rooms available for all of us.

Hotel seemed great, but once we checked in it wasn't. It's very ran down, moldy and unclean. Air conditioner smelled of mold, floors were disgusting spider webs on shower heads not connected to the wall. Tons of drama, because people live in this hotel who are homeless.

Front desk staff was amazing Natasha and Jessie were a big help. Although the rooms could have been a little cleaner we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast could be better as well. Hotel front desk was decorated for Easter and it was very cute. The young man that works in maintenance came and fixed our TV and was very polite I didn’t get his name but he was a polite gentleman. We will be back for Race weekend.

I always come here with my Sister the new people who took over are definitely doing a better job in getting the hotel together. It’s worth the price. Alyssa, the young lady at the front desk with blond hair was welcoming, funny, and extremely sweet. Although I think she no longer works there. She’s definitely the person to talk to when you’re checking in! The bar is STILL not open. The hot water is an on and off issue too. There’s no smoke alarms in the bed rooms and if there is it’s off. Overall, The lake view is absolutely stunning makes up for a lot!

Awesome place to stay with very friendly front desk personnel. Clean cool looking lobby. I reserved a king room and they upgraded me to a king suite which had a living room, kitchen table 2 TVs and a separate bedroom. I was surprised at the price I got the room for and then the upgrade was just wow. The room was very clean and huge and the bed was so comfortable. Right outside the room was the pool that was open all night so went swimming at 2:30 in the morning with no one around. I highly recommend this hotel for all that are visiting the area.
