This was THE BEST possible place we could have gone for a bachelorette party! It felt like the entire place was a private party just for us because the musicians, bartenders, servers, and other guests were all joining in on the celebrations and making our night special. Our server even had a little bachelorette party card game she let us borrow. Our group got called on stage multiple times and truly felt like this was the best night ever. We are so grateful for the entire staff for making this such a memorable night. AND the musicians are SO talented!

Oh man, maybe I just went on a bad day, but the band was really off. Tons of mistakes, not only out of tune, but even lyrics. It was hard to keep the cheer up except for a few songs. It is a fun place with a very good idea behind. Maybe they should fix the playlist to rehearse a bit more. Indy has a strong music scene. I'm sure they can figure this out.

Great service, drinks amazing and the live band always great. It’s been a few years since I’ve been here and I must say it’s still as great as it was then. We were able to get a nice table for our party of 6 but It gets packed easily and they really need more tables.

They had a great rotation of musicians and the cover was super reasonable. Had a great time singing along. I even had an issue with my drink and the waitress promptly fixed it. So much fun!

I would give a - star. It’s a piano bar, you go to watch the talent and enjoy the show. I can’t see anything with all the people crowding the show that are allowed to do what they want. Never again.

We met up with friends and family to celebrate our nieces 21st birthday. It was a terrific time, the atmosphere was so fun with the dueling pianos, the crowd, and even the staff involvement. Definitely recommend!

The bar is aptly placed so you can talk to the bartender. The band is phenomenal and consistent. Maybe I'm at the age where hearing the company you are with is a greater benefit. Thankfully people still smoke so you can go outside. So many of those in the live band are incredibly skilled. If you are going for just music, this is the place to do it.

Howl never disappoints and Indy is no exception. The amount of talent on the stage is amazing. The service is impeccable. The drinks are on the sweet side, but I love this place.

I come here once a year and it's always great. The staff, the prices and the food. The entertainment is typical of a piano bar, and the talent never gives up trying to get the crowd partying. Staying in Indianapolis for the week is like staying at your grandma's house and Howl at the Moon is like sneaking out to your cousin's house for the real party

GREAT ATMOSPHERE, LOTS OF ENERGY. THE PERFORMERS ARE TOP NOTCH. DESPERATELY NEEDED MORE WAIT STAFF. MY BIG ISSUE IS THAT I RESERVED A TABLE FOR A BIRTHDAY PARTY. THE TABLE WAS RIGHT UP AGAINST THE DANCE FLOOR. ONCE THE PLACE FILLED UP WE HAD DRUNK DANCERS BUMPING INTO THE TABLE AND US AS WELL AS PUTTING THEIR EMPTY CANS/BOTTLES ON OUR TABLE. WE ENDED UP JUST LEAVING BECAUSE IT WAS SUPER ANNOYING. I WOULD THINK FOR THE AMOUNT YOU PAY TO RESERVE A TABLE THERE SHOULD BE SOME KIND OF BUFFER BETWEEN THE TABLE AND THE DANCE FLOOR.

Went for a Halloween Bar Crawl. It had a great start, but kinda of unorganized Again, this was Halloween, so definitely more hectic than normal.

We were expecting more of a dueling piano atmosphere. They do have 2 pianos set up, but it is less dueling piano and more of a full music experience. It was amazing that the 5 to 6 musicians jumped from piano to guitar to drums! The drinks are on the weak side. The overall atmosphere was good. Don't know if they were just short staffed the night we visited, but it took a while to get drinks. Overall, we would go back.

My first time in Indianapolis and on a Saturday night I strolled around the whole downtown area just evaluating The nightlife and where I might have my final cocktail. How at the moon was the only place that was crazy popular and it full tilt. Live music and energy drive this popular bar. Service is good drinks are good I would recommend this place if you are looking for energy and people in Indianapolis.

No food here, just good drinks and good fun. Decent group of performers but have seen better at other Howl locations. 2 standouts were an Asian girl and a younger guy... their performances were more on point, and the crowd gave more love when they performed... but all around good talent by all. Overall cool place, great people hanging out, great drinks. Check them out!!

The drinks were a bit water down, and the performers were more worried about money and tips than putting on a good show. Which was the complete difference, then the one in San Antonio. If you play good ppl, you will tip more worry about performing them tips and please give good drinks, not watered down alcohol.

Howl at the Moon was amazing! I had won their Happy Hour party. They had included some great deals and provided an amazing space. I had about 30 people in my party. Mario was THE BEST!!! He made sure my entire party was taken care of and continually checked in on me.Thank you!!!

They made me feel like a celebrity on my birthday! The band is just downright amazing! The staff couldn't get any better. Fun playful but very helpful! Best experience! I love love love this place!

This place is amazing. We went with a crowd of 7 during FDIC and had an absolute blast. Great prices, excellent service, ice cold drinks. Live band was great and kept the party going all night. This will be a must do everytime we are in town.

The musicians are very good and play a good variety of music. The drinks are expensive. The speciality shots are just little mixed drinks for the price of a full size drink. They cost $9-11 each. The white claws are $8.

We visited Howl for the first time 2 years ago on Valentine's weekend with a large group. It was fabulous. The music was absolutely spot on. This time we were not so impressed. The music was mediocre at best. The really small girl was good but the rest of them were hard on the ears. Their personalities were good but they ruined the songs. We left after only an hour. Sorry.

This is not the Howl at the Moon of years past! What a fun and energetic atmosphere for our friend's 50th birthday celebration! The musicians were excellent and played non-stop for hours! But the best part was our server Mario!!! He was hands down AMAZING and on top of things for our large party. What a wonderful asset Mario is to your staff!

Place was pretty awesome very loud very crowded but the security team was on top of it them guys run that place like a well-oiled machine only bad part about the whole night was the person playing the piano never played any of the songs we requested even with cash tips also we was there for a bachelor party and the person with the microphone told the bachelor happy birthday when they called him up on stage for some reason luckily we was all drunk enough not to care LOL had a great time definitely recommend coming here and I'm positive we had the absolute BEST WAITRESS in the whole place I'm pretty sure her name was Kay

The drinks were amazing as was the band. Had never been to a place like this before and they played such a wide range of songs and genres!

Fun times, good drinks, and someone waking around in their underwear selling shots. If that's not the American way, I really don't know what is. I mean really, that's super American. Pianos and booze and shots from the underwear lady. Also, I saw drunk chicks singing Cotton Eye Joe, quite a sight.

Music was ungodly loud. I get it’s a music venue, but when my table is 30 feet from the stage in a small space it doesn’t need to be so loud. The drinks were nothing but pure sugar and barely any alcohol to them. Basic white girl haven with the drinks as well: hardly anything on their menu but vodka and tequila drinks. The service was good, but definitely not what is advertised. Not worth the $100 reservation.

I left my first review 3 years ago, just went to the St Patrick's day party in 2023 and had a blast! Allyson is a great server and we loved the Blarney Bomb!! The crowd is always fun and we usually make a few new friends!! Great music, great food, great employees!!

This is a great venue to get a drink at. Celebrating a 21st birthday in a way that only this place can manage. While the chairs through most of the venu are taller variety than some handicapable might be able to manage, their are options available to them nonetheless. Drinks are where this establishment shines. I had the Kentucky peach 🍑 which was delicious and very smooth. I would certainly recommend this place if they are looking for a venue with plenty of crowd interaction.
