Overall great experience and would go again. The service was quite friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The location of Indianapolis is quite unique and the building itself is rather beautiful. The inside tells generations of stories and continues to serve excellent made in house pasta. The only dislike I had was the lighting. The lighting display is to appear dated to coincide with the building's age, however it is to dim. My family and other individuals were bringing their flashlights out to read the menu. That being said I would not hold that back from coming back again and again for their service and food.

It’s the same old spaghetti factory flavors it’s always been. It was great for the kids who like their meals. The mizithra browned butter dish is the best thing I’ve ever had here and it remains that way. The chicken Parmesan was pretty good, lacks that little something extra. The service was good, great old atmosphere and great kids meal portions as well adult entrees were good portions. Will likely be coming back next time we’re downtown.

Excellent value for money to eat a pasta in Indianapolis. We were very well attended in an environment with a very retro themed decoration, which made our experience complete. I recommend!

A nice destination downtown for dinner. Food portions were above average. We shared one party entree between two adults. Cheesecake was some of the best that I've had. As far as price range I would rate it $$.

Charming restaurant in the center of downtown town Indianapolis. Old world, wood feel with large open spaces and low ceiling private spaces too. The server we had was perfect. Not too much, but just enough attention. Food was delicious and fresh, generous portions. Your basic Italian cuisine. However, they did not offer canoli! We were there for lunch so it was quiet with less traffic.

While the food was amazing, the appetizers fantastic, and the tiramisu sensational…. Amanda was the absolute highlight. Hands down the best personality and kindness I’ve ever experienced with someone in a customer service role. First, she greeted us at the hostess stand - all smiles, then to our surprise she was also our server. She was bubbly and kind and chatty in the best ways. I honestly am so refreshed in having such fantastic customer service. We didn’t wait for anything we requested and she truly made our dining experience memorable.

My dining experience at the Spaghetti factory was the most memorable aspect of my trip to Indi. I walked in at 3pm on a Sat so I had the restaurant to myself. My waiter was very pleasant, the Spaghetti with meat sauce was pretty darn close to how my grandmother made it. The wood, velvet, leather, stained glass, and wrought iron together, brought me back to an age long forgotten. Very high marks!

Great service, our waiter was lively and extremely helpful with recommendations! The food was fantastic. We greatly enjoyed our meals, and the turnaround in the kitchen was quick! I will 100% go again the next time we visit the city. You also get a lot for your money, soup or salad are included as well as ice cream and bread, although with the huge portion sizes we could hardly eat it all.

The old spaghetti factory is a great place for good food and a unique atmosphere! The service was fast and attentive. All meals are 3 courses and include soup or salad and ice cream. They even came around and refreshed our bread if it got cold. Lots of food for the money and good taste.

Our waitress was amazing. She made sure we didn't have to wait for anything. I got the Spicy Spaghetti Vesuvius (think that's how it's spelled). It was delicious. The spice was mild so if your worried about it being too spicy, don't. Husband got Chicken fettuccine. Can definitely tell it was homemade. Was on point. The atmosphere was very old school. I loved it. I did wear a nice dress, but it is not required. Casual wear is fine.

This was a nice interior to this building, with plenty custom wood work. We were able to get a spot in the train car that sits inside the dining area, it was a little tight inside, but fun place to eat. I had the chicken parmesan which was very good. The lasagna looked good also. The meals came with a small portion of ice cream at the end also. They also had an good drink selection. The service was good and friendly also.

The best pasta I ever had! We ordered the Chicken Marsala and the Garlic Shrimp Fettuccine with one soup and one salad and the two flavours of ice cream they had. The chicken was good, but the pasta stole the show for me! However, the Garlic Shrimp Fettuccine didn't have the large shimps on top, as mentioned on the menu (don't know if that was meant to be that way). The person who was waiting on us did kind of mixed up with the icre cream orders, but she immediately corrected the order after we told her and guess what, we got an ice cream for free!!! And how can I not write about the decor! It was so nice, so cozy, yet so decorative. The ambiece was the first thing that drew us in and it was even more warm and nice in person. Overall, we had a gala time over there last night. Everything was great. If you're in the downtown Indianapolis area, you should definitely check out the place.

It was a great restaurant with fair prices. I was so hungry I forgot to take photos of the food. I ordered the macaroni and cheese and it was delicious!

A favorite of mine since I was a kid and my parents brought us here in the 80's. I had the managers special (half clam sauce and half mizithra), salad with blue cheese. My 4 yr old had macaroni and cheese. The waitress was the best. She was spot on and we never wanted for anything. The food was delicious and was followed up with spumoni ice cream (my little ones favorite).

The food was delicious. Service was a bit slow however, we were on a time crunch. The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor is spot on for The Old Spaghetti Factory. Everyone enjoyed their meal and our waiter was friendly.

It’s changed through the years. Got passed up at seating, after being asked to wait until he seated another party, and he’d be back. Needless to say, he forgot about us. Didn’t enjoy main course arriving at the same time as our salads, and neither salad had the correct salad dressing on them. Portion size was good, food was good. Will most likely be back at a later date to see if things change. Wasn’t very busy

We’ve been here a few times and keep coming back. The atmosphere is amazing inside and the food is even better. Our server Angela was amazing. High energy and very helpful.

Wow this place was spectacular! I had a couple Mules which were made to perfection. I had the spicy pasta dish that was called the spaghetti Vesuvius and it had a really nice spice. Not overbearing on the spicy factor. It was just right. I would definitely eat here again. The service was top notch also.

Food was good, but not like the best Italian food I have ever had. We started with the garlic bread with cheese, pepperoni and bacon. The Bacon was amazing.i got the mistroni soup, very good. For dinner i had the giant crab filled ravioli, sauce was very good, could have had more sauce. Pasta was very tasty, the crab meat.. was ok. My wife had the meat lovers plate, the meatballs were good, sausage very nice and the spaghetti was nothing out of this world, but good. It tasted much better later that night. Wait staff was cool, little out there, he seemed frustrated there was no bus boy. Beer selection not so good. I settled with a Blue Moon. Would definitely go back to try some of the white clam sauce pasta I saw on the menu.

We ordered an appetizer along with the 3 course meal. I will say, we probably shouldn’t have ordered the appetizer because we ended up with so much food! But the little toasts that came with the spinach dip were so soft and buttery. We also ordered the signature cream soda with the keepsake glass! This place has such a beautiful romantic feel. We were sat in comfy chairs. Our waitress was attentive, and quick! This was fine dining at a very reasonable price. We would come back again and again if we had one in our area, but we were just passing through on our travels. There are a lot of locations, Just not near our hometown.

Our extended family suggested this place to meet when we arrived in Indianapolis. The building and atmosphere was great! The food was decent, I was hoping for higher quality based on the atmosphere and pricing. Thankfully the service was very nice. Service wasn't very fast, but we weren't in any rush and enjoyed visiting with family. Parking wasn't a pleasant situation, but that is most places located in the middle of a big city.

Fantastic service and friendly staff. The food was ok for the price but was sort of lackluster. Our appetizer was fantastic; however, the entrees were just ok.

What a fun dining experience! A 3-course meal for only $20, including the tip? Yup! Good food, great wait staff, including Deanna, who was very attentive and kind despite having many tables to serve. A big plus is the streetcar for kids to sit in - and ice cream dessert for everybody! 👍👍
