Clean room but they didn’t give us the room we expected and they shut the pool down forever, but advertised on all websites as being an amenity. They need to get that changed. The breakfast wasn’t any better than getting breakfast from any other holiday inn etc. but they only have it to exclusive guests high up on 31st floor. Need more variety. We ended up going to get breakfast at a restaurant after we left because we weren’t full. Now that was a good breakfast at Lincoln pancakes. The hotel was nice. Just couldn’t been better for the price we paid.

My wife and I had a fantastic getaway to Indy for a long weekend. The hotel is ideally located near great dining options and lots of fun activities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice common area next to the lobby with a bar. It was perfect for socializing with friends before heading up to the room for the night. The rooms are clean, nice, and have a mirror positioned right next to the bed that can be lots of fun if you are staying with your special someone.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at for a conference. My room was very comfortable. One of the first things I check about a room is how cool I can make it for sleeping, and the thermostat allowed me to keep the room at a great sleeping temperature. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The views on the higher levels are absolutely spectacular and both the river and canal paths are in easy walking distance. As a bonus there are two museums right across the street and the Eiteljorg Museum has a great little cafe that makes a fun lunch option. Highly recommend.

Unless someone else is paying for your room, you require epic views from a high-rise, or you absolutely can't leave the building where your event is being held, save your money and sleep somewhere else. There's nothing special about this hotel beyond the location and the excellent room views. Oh, and the post-shower robe they provide is pretty fluffy, if that's important to you. The gym is spacious, with good views and free water and towels. But there's no pool or hot tub. Apparently there hasn't been one since it went under renovations before the pandemic, but the elevator sign still lists it as being on floor two. The breakfast option at the Italian restaurant is a $28/plate buffet. The valet is $55 overnight. It may be obvious from the name, but this is not a place to go for value.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at with incredible views of the city. Excellent venue for a large event or conference with plenty of conference rooms and exhibit hall spaces. Comfortable bed and quiet room. All the staff were professional and helpful. Notes: Microwaves and ice dispensers are on 2nd floor which was a little odd and inconvenient but understandable. The parking garage was very nice but I got lost in the maze a few times. Also, I was under the impression that the hotel validated self-parking. So, I was shocked to find I was billed $52/day for self-parking, which I believe to be unreasonable. Also, the pool has been removed or closed down permanently with no explanation and several printed maps on the wall show a pool.

Staff is great, front desk was great. They offered access to the club bc they couldn't accommodate a king bed. The hotel is spotless. very clean. Not really a 5 star, more like a 4 star for business travelers. There isn't any Spa & small cosmetic issues in the room. No rust or mold.. I am thinking it was recently renovated. Ton's of issue with the elevators.

The location was perfect for our weekend stay. We parked on Friday morning and didn’t have to move the car until we left on Sunday. Walking distance to White River State Park, Monument Circle, and nearly anywhere you want to go downtown. We did rent scooters one night to shorten the distance on foot, which only added to the fun. The hotel is extremely clean, welcoming, and classy, and the view from our room was awesome. We will be back!

The breakfast buffet is great. The location is perfect for visiting two museums (Native American and Western art and the Indiana State Museum, both of which are great for kids). The rooms are very modern, but somewhat lacking in soundproofing. The hotel is underprovisioned on elevators so this could be a 5-star experience or a 1-star experience depending on how crammed the hotel is. If you book a room on a high floor (kings only) you're probably safer because those high floors have a separate elevator bank. Before booking, perhaps try to find out if there is going to be a massive convention centered on the hotel for the nights of your stay.

Everything from our check-in to our check-out was an issue. During check-in, I was told I was required to pay for the stay. I explained I'd already arranged payment; they finally found the document showing my payment after about a 15 minuet wait. On our 1st day, I got food poisoning from the restaurant (High Velocity). I spoke with several people, but no one followed up with me, not even to see if I was ok. Our group had several issues with the elevators, they were slow and sometimes they required you to use your room key, other times they didn't. My wife and I order room service, but no one was available to bring up our food. Since I was sick (food poisoning), my wife picked up our meal. When we reviewed our bill, we were charged 2 fees. When we called to ask about the charges, we were given a hard time about the issue. They did finally remove the fees, but only after we asked to talk to a manager. The day of our checkout, we called down for a bellman and to have our car brought around for nearly an hour with no answer. While riding the elevator to the lobby, there were 2 staff members riding down with me. I asked if they were shorthanded. I was told no, I explained I couldn't reach a bellman or valet. When we got to the 1st floor, 1 staff member exited without saying a word, the other said, "good luck". I found a very nice young man that worked in valet, and he found a cart for me. When I was waiting for the elevator, a bellman came up and said, sorry sir, you can't use a cart, I have to help. I told him to get the hell away from me. When I checked out, I asked the manager if they were shorthanded and was told no, matter of fact, we're slow today. I feel so bad, I chose to have my team stay here. My entire team experienced issues. We are scheduled to have another meeting in Indianapolis in 2024, I will not expose my team to this hotel again!

We were completely impressed by the scope of the hotel grounds. We ate lunch at the High Velocity Restaurant and were delighted by the menu, delightful taste of our meals & sweet server, Jessica. The location is perfect!! The staff are welcoming. No worries about security in a big city...they have highly capable security officers 24/7 if ever needed. And security matters most. We spoke with Kurtis who made us feel special for asking directions. He is knowledgeable about the conference center, parking & city events. Ask him about local breweries too! He helped us quite a bit.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. Conference rooms were also well situated. Very clean hotel with good in-hotel food options. Room service was pricey, but what hotel isn't. Car Valet was quick but pricey $57 per night $55 for self park..... really? The only issue was that the valet double billed me each day, one for the valet service and one for self park....I had to get it corrected. Other than that, I highly recommend this property.

Stayed here for a conference and definitely enjoyed my stay. Most hotels do a poor job with either water temperature being too cool or water pressure being much too low for the shower. This hotel had great pressure and heat which was awesome! I had access to the executive lounge on the 31st floor and enjoyed the food and atmosphere (adult beverages are no longer complimentary).

Meseret in the Executive Lounge was fantastic - warm, friendly, and anticipating the members' needs with a smile! The lounge was well-stocked, breakfast and evening offerings were plentiful and delicious. The hotel service overall was Excellent! My only annoyance was the area by the closet is very dark and makes it hard to see your clothes. Also, wish they designed the bathrooms with actual towel racks - there is no real practical place to hang your towels they want to encourage sustainability and reuse. Small point to fix, really.

Room was great, view was great. Front desk staff were very nice. However, what 5 star hotel does not have a pool or hot tub? Evidently it was taken out during Covid. Still have signs directing you to pool. Steep parking price.

I went here for my 30th birthday, and they did not disappoint. The friendliest, most catering staff I've ever seen. Everyone was so polite and helpful. The comfort was amazing, the food was impeccable, the views were to die for. An unforgettable way to ring in a new decade in my life.

A beautiful hotel with fantastic views of the city. It is well located and connected to the sky walk network for traversing during the blustery winter. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The temperature was adjustable and had immediate affect. A great hotel that I could see myself staying at again in the future.

Very nice room. Easy on and out parking. Great view of the baseball stadium and river walk. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only drawback was that the hotel bar automatically added a 20% tip to our group even though we were going up to get our drinks and cleaning up after ourselves.

I had the opportunity to stay here for a work convention. This hotel was fabulous! I am not one for heights, but I faced my fears and the view was worth it! I was able to see the beautiful city from my hotel room. The man in the front of the hotel greeting people as they walked in was kind enough to ask if I wanted a lower floor, which I felt was great customer service. The concierge desk was very informative on things to do around the city within walking distance. I am already planning another trip for next year, and I told my husband we are staying at JW Marriott!

I reserved a large room and paid a lot of money for it. What I got was a regular size room. For a place this nice you would think you would get internet for free, no you gotta pay for it! You would think parking is free, no, you gotta pay fifty-two dollars a night for parking, free breakfast? Oh no! Twelve dollars for a bowl of oatmeal and eight dollars for two pieces of toast! This place is a rip off don't come here unless you have more money than brains. Thanks for nothing Marriott, you will never see another dime of my money! Overpriced, overrated, and just plain greedy!

The service here was fantastic. They treat you like this is a $1k a night hotel. The rooms were clean and large and they actually had queen sized beds not doubles. The food was good at both restaurants and they have a Starbucks on the second floor for convenience. I would 100% stay here again, it was well wroth the money.

I believe you can judge the quality of a hotel by the condition of its hallways! The Marriott was excellent in every regard. Immaculate hallways! Clean, spacious room. Efficient check-in and room service and good food. I would have given it 5 stars ⭐️ but I didn’t get my 3:30am alarm call for my flight!

I definitely like this hotel. A drawback for me was that the executive lounge is in the higher floor tower so if you're in the lower floor tower you have to go back and forth which is inconvenient. The service was great and the room was immaculate. I'll definitely be back but I'll be requesting the other tower next time.

Nice but a couple glaring negatives. Internet costs $15/day unless you are a Marriott Reward member. Worse was having housekeeping bang on the door at 8:15am the day of our departure to see if we were still here.

Lizzie in the executive room was absolutely amazing! So kind, thoughtful and helpful! Her smile was a welcomed surprise and you could tell she absolutely cared that her guests were enjoying their time.

Truly an amazing experience. Had the MFA National Festival conference here with over 3000 students and even more staff housed in the connecting hotels and other. They did a fantastic job feeding all of us, hosting Galas and Socials, and accommodating everyone. Hospitality here was truly amazing and they made the guests feel appreciated. Everything is neat and orderly, room was beautiful, everything clean. amazing work

This was the first time staying here. We normally stay at other Marriott locations but we found a nice room and I was excited to get in around 10 PM. Valets were awesome, check-in went relatively well. Amenities around the hotel were nice. The room itself was tidy, well-kept, and the bathrooms were very nice and well-stocked. Very clean, very nice. Unfortunately I think I maybe got two solid hours of sleep. There is an extremely high-pitched whining noise within probably 10 rooms in each side of main elevators by the 23 and up elevators. It was brutal. All night. Every 15-30 seconds. My daughter didn’t get much good sleep either unfortunately. Until they get this fixed I would make sure you are as far away from the elevator shaft as possible.

Stayed here while in town for a wedding. Wonderful staff, great location with tremendous views. We were very impressed by the museums and local attractions. Did have a glitch while checking in. We arrived early and were promised a room and a call when ready. Never received a call and our room was given away. Staff handled it well and we were very happy with the room we received. All in all, a great stay, great city and a great wedding. Thanks JW!

Very clean and nice rooms. The bathroom shower design was odd and I didn't much care for the water pressure but it was still nice. Front desk staff was very nice and professional. The view was absolutely amazing. The downside that brings my review to a 3 star is that another guest was able to key card into my room somehow. I was fresh out of the shower dressing and it was very embarrassing to meet the face of a complete stranger walking into my room. The other guest walked out after apologizing but it still just felt like a violation of my privacy. I know I should have locked my deadbolt but we had just had a very long day and I just jumped straight into the shower. Again beautiful hotel but the stranger entering my room was very scary and just kind of ruined the whole experience.

Very nice hotel. They should make sure they are telling guest that there are 2 sets of Elevators. We meet another guest in the Elevator who had the same issue. We ate at the sports bar High Velocity. Atmosphere was great. Service was great. Food was hot and fresh but not worth the money. I would still highly recommend this hotel.

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't regret it. What a magnificent hotel. The staff is exemplary, the location is magnificent. Our room had full views of downtown Indianapolis and a wonderful view of Lucas oil stadium, go Colts! The executive lounge on the top floor is absolutely gorgeous and top notch service. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Highly recommended.

Perfect location and staffed with some of the best in the business of hospitality. They really treat you as if you do matter. I felt appreciated. I found the bed a little too firm, but my wife felt it wasn't firm enough... The soundproofing of the room was stellar. Once you closed the curtains there was minimal street noise. I'd given it a full 5⭐ if I had liked the bed a little more... I kept waking up to shift because of the mattress.

Hotel and staff were very nice, views were amazing from our room and the room was clean. Shower even had jets in the wall, how fancy right? Unfortunately like a lot of hotels, their advertised breakfast isn’t really breakfast, it’s chewy chocolate chip bars, cereal, and some milk or juice. Also they weren’t advertising having a pool on their website or in the room, but some of their signs and maps show them having one. When you go to where it’s supposed to be though it is all walled off, so if you see one of the signs that says pool, don’t be fooled. Great experience though and the location is perfect to walk to any of the three major sports venues, the zoo, or the mall.

Wow what a hotel! Rooms are very nice and have an amazing view of the city. Lot's of food and drink choices right in the hotel. Service is great. They have people on standby to help with luggage, calls taxi's etc. Located close to everything downtown. State park, ballfield Lucus oil stadium, and convention center are all right around the corner.

In a very nice location facing downtown, if you are feeling tired after a long trip make sure you pick up something to eat in your room, the hotel room service is not up to the level it should be, the system for room service doesn't work, when you call to the front desk no one seems to know how to direct you yo the right person because they always seemed to be to busy to assist a customer, after trying 2 times to place a room service order I was told by one of the staff member to go downstairs to place my order to make it fast, ( then is not room service right? ) so I went downstairs to place my order and asked if I could have it delivered to my room, I was told no because apparently no one was able to take it over. Anyways, take the room service off your services if you aren't able to honor it!

Nice size rooms for one or two, but would be difficult with children in a standard room. I was there for a conference. Staff was wonderful, housekeeping was very accommodating. I didn't eat at the on site restaurant, however there was a bill on my statement. I told them I haven't eaten there and they removed it, no questions asked. Starbucks on site, always busy, but moves quickly. Skywalks from the hotel will get you pretty much anywhere you wish to go in downtown Indianapolis. Great views of the city, Victory Field, Lucas Oil Stadium and the convention center. Room key required to travel to the floors with private rooms. There is not a refrigerator in every room. Kind of a bummer.

Beautiful hotel and very nice staff. Rooms were very clean and well kept. It is very overpriced for what it is especially as they do not have complimentary breakfast and there is no pool! All websites (besides theirs) show they have a pool and they even have signs for a pool throughout the hotel; however, they don’t and it is filled in. Why?!?! They also stated for our room rate that cars sleep free and then the front desk tried to charge us $15 a night for parking. I wild not have paid such a high price for no pool. Plenty other hotels in the city with a pool that will get my future business.

Super busy show at convention center on the tail of the NFL combine and during Big 10 Basketball Championship. Staff was fantastic: fromt desk, restaurants, cleaning, etc. Definitely worth the price to stay. Room was extremely comfortable and clean. Parking was fantastic as well in connected garage. Highly recommended hotel.
