Tough to Give It One Star We regularly stay at typical 2-3 star, budget friendly hotels traveling to a destination and in general, they are OK and serve a purpose - to get a good sleep, shower and leave. If fewer people would boycott this particular place, maybe they would get their act together and make it a better place. There is adequate parking and check in and out was very smooth. As soon as we entered the room, there's an odor. Not sure what it was, but we suspect some cleaning solution used to cover up cigarette smoke smell. Not a heavy odor, but noticeable and we became used to it after a few minutes in the room. The king bed and pillows were great and we slept well. That's where they earn our one star. The carpet is filthy. Walk through the room just a few times in bare feet and get in the shower and you'll see streams of black dirt run into the drain from your feet. DO NOT WALK AROUND HERE IN BARE FEET!!! They have had painters in the room not long ago and these painters may know how to lay paint on the walls, but have no clue how to wipe up paint drips onto the floor, furniture, towels bars, tub, tub surround, toilet, etc. Drips and brush swipes all over. The painters moved the furniture, but left paint smudges on the furniture with their fingers. Not sure what happened, but the paint on the ceiling was peeling off along one wall. Not sure what happened to the towel rack in the bathroom, but clearly nobody at this hotel is concerned about the damaged condition it is in. And then there's the lighting over the bathroom sink area. Look up and you see the exposed light fixtures and armored cables. The exhaust fan in the bathroom needs a little oil, or be replaced. It squeals and moans and groans for awhile, then quiets down. I guess they feel guests won't mind. Oh and the metal bases on the nightstand lamps have started to corrode, possibly from humidity. ANYTHING ELSE GOOD? The in-room fridge was clean, had a freezer compartment and was cold and the AC worked well. We were there only 2 nights and pretty much slept and showered there. No way would we stay here again!

This was by far the worst experience that I EVER had at a hotel. The rooms are nothing that they show in their pictures. The carpet floor is so filthy, they had mad roaches, no phone in the room, you had to do your own service, no housekeeping do regular cleaning while your at a long stay YOU Have TO ASKED FOR IT!!! YOU HAVE TO VACUUM YOUR OWN ROOM!! The ice makers don't work, no vending machines but they have snacks that charge you a ridiculously amount. I didn't feel comfortable there, folks hanging all out in the parking lot and hallway at times. They don't want to fix anything, the elevator is outdated, the tub was messed up. In the inside of the room there was an open wiring...wall puckering. This place needs to be shut down, they are used to trash. I went to another hotel, so much better. They have a kitchen, IT IS CLEAN, the service is absolutely wonderful, NO ROACHES, perfect services, and great housekeeping I wish I would have went here first!!!! Save your money and go elsewhere!!!

Recently I stayed at this location under a different name and I could barely sleep due to the constant loud music blasting inside & out/loud talking. Also the doors were constantly slamming at odd hours of the night. The floors clearly haven't been shampooed in years. I changed the sheets once and there were a blood stain on one of the mattress protectors. I currently have marks on my arms from the bedbug bites and have seen roaches in the room twice. The dark skin lady up front is extremely rude and always loud/with her phone on speaker at the front desk. She even had a bonnet on at the front desk once. They never wear masks and I always hear the staff gossiping about residents. I felt like I was in a hood apartment. I have sent evidence of the atrocities to corporate and they have yet to do anything. I won't ever stay in another Wydham Hotel again!

My boyfriend booked this room for us this past weekend. We just checked out this morning. The first thing I noticed was the stains on the floor throughout the hallway, as well as bags of trash in the corner. When we came into the hallway heading to our room, I noticed some ceiling tiles were crooked, one was broken, and one looked like it had mold or some other water damage to it. I used the bathroom this morning and to my surprise, there was a roach crawling up the wall. Then another one crawling by the tub/shower. This is extremely unacceptable and that place needs to be shut down. It’s actually funny because the owners obviously ignore these conditions, but made sure to knock on the door at 11am to make sure we were leaving. Disgusted by this place and I’d never recommend it to anyone. I wish we were allowed to post photos.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Extremely extremely RUDE staff. Seriously the worst attitudes I have ever encountered. Ran terribly. Found cockroaches crawling all over the bathroom upon arrival. The entire place reeks of smoke. Gross dingy bedding and decor. Stains on everything. Way overpriced for what this place offers (or doesn't offer I should say). Demanded a refund immediately after seeing the cockroaches and then the front desk clerk decided to charge me TWICE after we left. There is NEVER a manager on-site. They will let the phone ring off the hook and never answer. nThis place should be shut down. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

The room is what it is with the price you pay. But overall it was totally fine! The bed is comfortable the place looked clean, just needs to be renovated I’d say. But nice stay. The best part about our experience was Dave, the guy who worked up front and helped us with every detail and problem we had. He was so helpful and matter of fact, I think he made this stay for us worth it! He should get a raise. My interaction here was amazing. And I’d recommend it to anyone!

The entire hotel including the lobby, as soon as you enter the hotel smelled of smoke, the person on duty at the counter admitted herself that she cannot tell people not to smoke. Even as you walk to the elevator - with the rooms clearly marked non-smoking - those rooms reeked of smoke and marijuana smoke. All thru the night the room next to me - the people in the room next to us were smoking - we could smell the fumes all night. Worst, absolutely, worst experience ever. And yes, I did ask for a non-smoking room. In 2021 - if the hotel management itself cannot enforce the non-smoking policy in their own rooms - then get new staff or shut this old, run down hotel down. Case in point, so run down, our smoke detector from our room was missing (or maybe on purpose taken out). Will never ever stay in a Days Inn again

Rooms were in disrepair, both rooms had missing fire alarms. The outside door to the stairs was unlocked for anyone to enter the building. Advertised free breakfast isn't served and no alternatives offered. The hallways and stairs smelled of smoke. Multiple rooms with loud music even though the hotel policy says not to have parties. Bed linen and towels were visibly dirty. The door lock was visibly broken. One room didn't have a phone to call the front desk as the phone was gutted and not connected to anything.

We got into the first room, and although my expectations were low, I was still disappointed. Ash and tobacco sprinkled everywhere, including under the blanket. Writing all over the walls. We walked downstairs and asked if he could put us into another, cleaner room. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, it did. The lock on the door was broken, the fire alarm had been removed, mold covering the bathroom vent, gross brown stains running the wall, hair in the bathtub, burn holes in every stained sheet and blanket. Even an old, moldy coffee pod in the coffee maker. Since it was late and I just needed a place to sleep I laid down my own blanket to sleep on. I noticed something crawling on the floor in the dark, I pulled out my flashlight and it was a cockroach. Find another hotel, save yourself the hassle.

This was probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. The hotel was dirty and moldy, including the rooms and bathrooms. We had to have our original room switched because we couldnt get into it, even after resetting the key 3 times. And the room it got switched to was 2 full beds instead of the king bed that was reserved. Even still, every time we left the room we had to have our key card reset to be able to get back into the room (and we heard other guests conplaining of the same problem). The front desk has a sign that says there is a $50 cash only deposit to check in but no where on the site does it say that, so I was not prepared with cash going in. Then when I checked out, they tried to say I still owed the deposit even though I'd already been told I was fully paid when I checked in. I really hope I don't see an additional charge for that $50. The photos online are obviously very out of date because the whole place looks like it's breaking down with things barely hanging on by their screws. I was looking forward to a relaxing weekend but there was nothing relaxing or comfortable about this hotel.

Would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Supposedly under construction but does not explain the garbage left in the hallways or the smell of. Living local looking for a short getaway this side of town is known for a more high end environment. This place maybe housing some needy individuals trying to get back on their feet but should advertise correctly the environment that you're paying.

I would rather sleep in my car or the grass outside than stay in this hotel again. The entire hotel smells like a mixture of cigarettes, marijuana, and bleach. There's trash everywhere and holes in essentially every wall. The ceiling right outside our room had caved in, with visible outside light. There were also water spots on our ceiling, suggesting another collapse is coming to future sleeping guests. AC couldn't keep up to keep the room cool. Outside door didn't even close so there was no security for the rest of the building. I wish my pictures could convey the smell.

I used rewards points for this place because it was near Rileys children's hospital. I'd like to have my points back. If there was a way to do negative stars, I would. Floor of lobby was dirty. Lobby restroom had trash on floor, stains on toilet, unknown spots on walls, no soap or way to dry hands. There was a line of black mold along Every room marked nonsmoking, but the smell of pot was overwhelming. First impression of room? Smell. Musty/moldy. Bed was comfortable enough, and TV worked. No phone in room. Bathroom floor was dirty, walls had a splatter around toilet. Unknown if blood or feces. Curiosity had me take a wet washcloth to it and the floor stains. All wiped off easily. Between that and the black mold looking stuff around wall behind tub and the nonslip pad in tub, we showered with the towel in tub instead of out to step on. Then came night when roaches in bathroom, bedroom and halls came out. I'm normally up nights and with stress over my grandson's dr visit the next day, I couldn't sleep. I thought to go read and relax in sitting area of lobby so I wouldn't disturb anyone. I was informed guests were only to be in lobby during check in/out. Not to loiter or hang out in with a book. Never again. I will also make sure my dog show friends don't make the mistake of staying there. OH! Elevator license expired TWO YEARS AGO

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever been to! The room looked like it hasn’t been cleaned ever. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, body fluids on the furniture and walls. There is an hole in just about every wall. Light fixtures have dead bugs inside of them. There were live cockroaches all over the floor and cigarette burns in the bedding. The whole building smells like pot and cigarettes. The door mechanism was broken and our room keys stopped working multiple times during our short time there. This place needs to be shut down!

The hotel itself was quiet and had a very basic breakfast which was fine. The lady at the counter was friendly and nice. But the room was not good. Lamp wouldn't turn off unless unplugged, one of the outlets was completely hanging out of the wall, wires exposed. The floor was sticky with weird black/red stains. Towels were stained, and there were ants in the room and in the breakfast area by the toaster. We went out and bought our own towels and flip-flops to wear in the shower it was so bad.

I only gave 2 stars because of the man in the front was very nice. Upon entering it didn’t look terrible, but as soon as we went into the room the door was a bit hard to open. The locking mechanism was broken or being fixed I’m not sure. We laid on the bed and there was holes in the comforter from cigarettes. The pillows had stains on them so we had planned not to use them. The bathtub had really bad staining on the floor which they tried to cover. The carpet had crumbs. We just ended up leaving. You definitely get what you pay for. But I regret not reading the reviews beforehand.

The staff was friendly, but the hotel was disgusting. The whole building smelled of rotten trash, cigarette smoke and weed. The carpets and furniture are stained. There was hair all over the sink and pubic hair in the bathroom. The toilet and bathtub were filthy and had black mold on them. Shower curtain stained. Burn marks on the toilet seat. Dead bugs in the light fixtures, some lamps without light bulbs. Dirty walls and stained linens. The TV was blurry with terrible reception. No breakfast offered despite being advertised as part of the price. The side door key card reader broken so the door was unlocked and anyone could come in at all times. Trash piled up in hallway. One on the worst hotels I've ever been in!!!

I stayed here a few weeks back and was very disappointed. The carpets in the hallways are stained with filth. I didn’t even have a lampshade in my room lol. Management leaves smelly bags of trash in the hallways and on top of that the arab front desk guys always have an attitude. Should have just went to super 8 it would probably have been better honestly

I’ve been here for 10 minutes and if it weren’t 1 am, I would leave. There are no blankets on the bed or in the room; just two sheets. When I asked for blankets, he said I could have some in the morning… which wouldn’t help me sleep. The bathroom faucet won’t turn off so it runs all the time. Basic cleanliness is not evident. The doors, windows, back stairs, hallways, etc. are filthy. I won’t walk on the carpet without socks on. Some plugs don’t work. Everything seems old, rundown, dirty, and unkempt. The only good thing is that we are only staying here for only 7 hours. I wish I could leave no stars. Avoid this place!

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. I encountered blood stains and dark spots on the floor and bedding, which was concerning and unacceptable. The door lock, air conditioning, and bathroom sink lighting were all broken, adding to the discomfort. The remote control was taped, indicating lack of maintenance. The bedding was thin, there was no comforter on the bed. Furthermore, my sleep was disturbed by loud screaming between staff and another guest. To top it off, the breakfast area was inaccessible as the door remained locked and lights were off during my visit. Overall, it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

⚠️WARNING⚠️ DO NOT STAY HERE. I don’t leave many reviews, but felt it my civic duty to warn anyone to not make a reservation- even if it’s so cheap. If I could give negative stars I would. I have been to a few cheap hotels in my life, but never been to a hotel so disgusting that I was afraid to lay on the bed. Nothing in that hotel felt clean, let alone bought within this century. The stench alone would be enough to turn me away. The staff was Incredibly unprofessional, the building was full of mold with yellowed and peeling wallpaper. Our room was very dark and of the few lights we had, most were burned out or didn’t work. When we tried to close our door the deadbolt wouldn’t lock so we just used the little chain lock. The pillows were also probably original to the building as they were practically just an empty lump of a pillowcase. We didn’t even have a fitted sheet on our bed and the blankets had stains on them. The bathroom was super nasty and we didn’t even bother using the toilet while we were there because a large bug was guarding it. As far as we saw there weren’t bed bugs in our room but would absolutely not be surprised if they did in other rooms. And all night long all we heard was people hollering out in the parking lot surrounding the hotel. Also something we’ve never experienced before was they asked for an additional $50 deposit when we arrived despite paying in advance and having a card on file. Hopefully we get it back in a week. Also when I needed to buy a water bottle in the lobby, they only accept cash, and when I gave them $5 they didn’t even have any change. Just overall sketchy and terrible hotel.

First i don't typically do reviews but I'm doing this hoping to save others from the horrors of this place. When my husband and I checked in we were informed that they have a $50 cash deposit and asked if we had cash (who carries cash these days) and we said no. The guy waved it and said just don't smoke in the room. This should of been our first red flag as we both have worked in hotels ourselves but this stay was due to an emergency. We had to ask them for a second key as he only gave us 1. Then my husband asked for a wake up call and the guy said he had to ask his manager if they could do wake up calls. Red flag 2 but he said he was new and had only been working there a few days. As we were walking to our room we stared smelling odd smells from musty to weed smells. When we got to our room we noticed there was no chain on the door, the room was musty feeling lack of air conditioning which we turned on instantly. There was very little lighting and the bathroom light would turn off automatically after just a few moments. After putting our stuff in room we was left to get dinner and the door was so noisy and a sign informing not to prop door open to reenter. When we returned with our food and was finishing eating someone started banging on the window and yelling someone's name for about 5 minutes. We called the desk and when i asked them later that evening if they found the person they just blew me off. The carpet felt nasty so we kept our shoes on the whole time. When i left to go to gas station to get drinks, when i returned there were people walking around and yelling, woman stopping random men. I felt so unsafe. Since we only needed a place to sleep for night we decided we would just make it through the night the best we could. There was no breakfast as stated, but we honestly wouldn't have even tried to eat anything anyways with how dirty the place was. The place should be shut down Please save your time and stay elsewhere.

My spouse booked a room for us several months ago. When we arrived we were told they had no more rooms. They didn't offer to find us other accommodations. They had no explanation why no one called us in the morning to inform us they had no rooms. The front desk worker said to contact the manager in regards to being reimbursed the difference. Trying to obtain that has been a joke as well. What a nightmare! Just awful.

  • 5/5 Jasmine Q. 11 months ago on Google
So the man at the front desk is super patient and friendly. He greeted us with a smile and explained any questions I had. The rooms were spacious, clean and everything worked. It wasn't pricey at all and I will be returning.

  • 1/5 Terry C. 1 year ago on Google
Hallways were not vacuumed during the five days that we were there. Garbage wasn't emptied in the room unless you asked for it. Rooms in general weren't cleaned unless you asked for it. No top sheet and bottom sheet was dirty when we arrived. Bathroom had grime in the corners which was not remedied until we specifically asked for it. In general, the hotel and rooms were dirty. It was like management and staff had given up.

  • 2/5 Q T. 10 months ago on Google
Honestly, I'm sad to put 2 stars here. The staff is very nice and friendly but everything else is awful. Breakfast was cereal and PB&J, they left the milk sitting out so by the time we got down there round 8:30 the milk was warm. Gym closed, ice machine broken, room look busted, TV was low res with basic cable. They did have a microwave so that's cool. Sheets smelled bad, actually the whole place had some weird smell. I hope these problems get fixed over time cause the management was chill.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I woke up at 3:00 in the morning to a COCKROACH running across my arm!! My arm was laying above my 7 month old baby's head! Then I found another in the bathroom immediately after! I went to the front desk & showed a picture to the guy there. He said there was nothing they could do & wouldn't even give us a discount or anything!! He said he would tell housekeeping to spray the room in the morning, as if that would help anything! In addition to ROACHES, which should be enough... the carpets are dirty & feel disgusting. Our shower was broken, there was mold in the tub & the TV quality was absolutely horrid. There are ZERO positive things about this place!!!

  • 1/5 Kent W. 1 year ago on Google
Non-existent help at the front counter. Dirty facility inside and outside. No ice machines anywhere. No coffee maker in the room. Water wouldn't shut off in the shower. Refrigerator in room didn't work. Continental breakfast was white bread, corn flakes, warm milk on counter, cold coffee. Horrible experience and with this I will never stay at a Days Inn ever again. Find somewhere better.

This hotel seriously needs to be torn down!! The back door to the hotel is broken and is replaced with plywood, which is a serious fire hazard. The smell is hideous, the floors had trash and stains all over them, there was NO sheets on the bed, only a paper thin so called bed spread with cigarette holes all over it! The toilet wouldn’t even flush properly, probably because there is hardly any water pressure. There was dead flies in the light fixture in the bathroom, cigarette stains on the lamp shades. The mattress was stained and disgusting. We reported ALL of our concerns to the front desk and they didn’t seem to care and was down right rude. So all in all this is a very disgusting hotel.

  • 1/5 Dave A. 1 year ago on Google
Wish I would have spent more time reviewing this place before I stayed there. Entire property is filthy. Room was even worse, smelled like smoke, not a single surface cleaned, stains on nightstand (dont want to know...), toilet handle broken, mirror over sink dirty and never cleaned, floor nasty. Glad I was only there for 7 hours and could shower before I left, even though there was used soap chips left in shower. Horrible experience overall and from the looks of the reviews, nothing will change.

The worst hotel I've stayed at. Disclaimer: I travel for work and this was a last minute booking. The survice was nice. The front desk lady was kind and curtious. She was also understanding when I asked for another room. Let me start with the external facade. It seemed a little old but not overly rundown. The lobby was clean and there wasn't a smell. Usually this is a sign that the room are the same. But no! I am not exaggerating when I say I felt like I was in an opening scene in a horror flick. Let me start with the least offensive. The first room's top blanket had a good sized hole in it, size of a quarter. The second room's bedding had holes in the sheets! Both rooms were missing cups and the bed were squeaky. Also, the first room was missing the complimentary toiletries and a hair dryer. Now for the completely unacceptable. The first room: The accent wall was lines that were carved in it and there were drawings/ markings on it. ( Yes, I'm uploading images). The other walls had paint chipped and were cracked and peeling. The floor looked like it hasn't been vacuumed in a year and completely stained (unfortunately, no pictures for that). Surfaces were not cleaned. The bedside table looked like it had dried drink on it. There was a sheet covering the table - I was too afraid to see what was under it. And for a single woman traveling for business - the phone didn't work! The second room: Only slightly better. Peeling paint. Rusty lamps. Gross, dirty carpet. No water pressure in the sink at all. Two lonely pant hangers, one with broken clips. The bathroom tile doesn't look like it's been cleaned. But at least the phone worked! I was actually debating leaving but it was late and I paid 121.00 for the room (which is a dollar over my allotment from work) To me that's a lot for such a disgusting place. I've stayed in over a dozen Motel 6's at $64-68 a night. Well I survived the night and so far, no hives, breakouts, or bugs! If that does happen, I'll update! DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL! THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT SHOULD SHUT IT DOWN.

I only give it a 2 because we couldn't get a room anywhere else. And it was decent. .still. old and basically unfinished. . Also the bed skirt looked like it had old puke on it so we slept on top of the covers under our own blanket. .. also ... the ceiling leaked in the room somewhere. ..... but thanks to the guy that gave us his last room. ...so basically if u need a room, he probably will have one. just don't expect nothing fancy.

This hotel was filthy, no smoke detector on wall, it was on shelf in closet. Plaster on walls, rusted lamp, no filter holder for coffee, no soap in room, carpet was filthy, huge hole, guessing something like 4 ft by 8ft, in ceiling in hallway, could actually see daylight from the roof. No free breakfast as advertised. First room they put me in had sheer curtains, no room darkening, on first floor so was easy for anyone to look in. Woman at desk said most people don't care! But she did change my room. The first room also had a chair with fabric sliced in a couple of areas and foam was showing. Would love to add photos. Staff was polite, felt sorry they had to work in this place.

Absolutely the most disgusting hotel I have ever experienced. Trash all over the outside. Man smoking pot by the side door we wanted to enter. Filthy floors. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Bed and chairs stained. Vomit (or something) on air conditioner. We told them we could not stay and got a refund. Should be shut down.
