The employees were terrible. One dude complaining the entire time. So slow to make sandwich. had to take his coat off and put on gloves twice. Kept talking to other employee about work stuff like cleaning bathrooms etc. Complaining complaining. Asked what I wanted 3x. Woman adding toppings could not remember the 1-2 toppings at a time I asked for. Had to keep going to fridge to get new. It was 1:30 in the afternoon and it seems like they had just gotten to work. Manager needs to step in a keep an eye on whats happening. Sandwich fell apart because of poor wrapping and they had some sort of computer issue which caused the employees to fight/complain again. This place sucks.

If I could give 0 stars, I'd be giving this place 0. I work at Cummins and come to this Subway for lunch a few times a month and I have never had good service. But today was a special occasion. They were understaffed and only had two employees working the line instead of their normal 3 or 4. I understood that and was patient with them. The woman working on the bread, meat, and cheese part was extremely frustrated and short with everyone she helped. When I got to the front of the line and told her what bread I wanted, she continued to ask the five people behind me what bread they wanted as well. One gentleman asked, "what's the deal?" and her response was, "the deal is we are short staffed, what bread do you want?". To that he seemed confused and said in return, "What you got?". Once he got to the front of the line I was getting my drink when all of a sudden this woman screams at the man and says, "If you have a f*****g problem you can get the f*** out of my g**d*** store!" To which he says, "I was asking what kind of deals you have going on, I never had a problem." People started pulling their cellphones out to record and everything. I was in shock. I have never in my life seen an employee lose their cool so fast and be so incredibly rude. That man never did anything wrong. She just went insane! On top of that, the same woman yelled at me to name all of my toppings at once because I paused to think about what I wanted on my sandwich. From now on I am going to walk the extra couple of blocks and I am going to the Subway on the Circle because this Subway is a mess! I seriously thought this woman was going to jump over the counter and start beating people up. The owner/management should be ashamed. This woman has dark red hair (dyed not natural) and is white. I couldn't catch her name, but she was working 4/25/2019 at 12:15PM just in case the management wants to actually do their job and reprimand her for this behavior. I felt so bad for that man.

Waited 20 minutes in line at newly-remodeled store and the line didn’t move at all. The big guy grabbing the bread and starting the sandwiches was obviously on some kind of drug and moved about 1MPH, constantly forgetting what was ordered and pouring sweat (despite not making any effort to work at all). The next two Subway folks on the sandwich line just sat there doing nothing to help the dopehead out or get things moving. I was one of SIX people who just got of line all at move and went elsewhere. I’ve never seen a downtown lunch spot be so terrible.

DISGUSTING ESTABLISHMENT. If you are looking for a place with rude employees who haven't had a day's worth of training in customer service or are really craving a sandwich filled with rotting food, then this is the place for you. I'd also recommend that you don't try to go there with a 'Buy One 6-inch sub, get One Free with purchase of fountain drink' coupon because they will rudely and inconsiderately tell you that they won't honor it because the day I went they were apparently out of Small drink cups...as if that was my fault. She said that I had to buy a small drink in order to use the coupon and since there were no small cups, I couldn't use it. Not once did she try to offer a solution to this issue i.e. to not charge me for the drink, or offer me a different sized cup due to the inconvenience (which I would've happily not filled all the way if that was such a big deal- I also would've happily accepted a water cup and still paid for the small drink), but I had to frustratingly tell her to just charge me for the drink that I didn't receive as apparently that was the only viable option to her in order for me to use the coupon. The biggest issue was when I got back to my office and went to eat my sub and noticed before I even opened the bag that it smelled like rotten food. I thought the rotisserie chicken looked different than usual when she was making my sandwich, but she heated it up for me so I didn't think much more of it, but I also noticed that the lettuce in the containers they had out were noticeably browning and disgusting. So not only did I pay for a drink I didn't receive, but I paid for a sandwich that I couldn't eat either. I paid over $8.00 for a bag of chips essentially. Quality control apparently isn't a priority at this store. I've never had an issue like this with any other Subway store I've ever been to. I will never set foot in that store and think the only people that should step foot in there are the people working for the Indiana State Department of Health. Do yourself a favor and take the extra tenth of a mile walk to the Subway store on Alabama Street or the one on the Circle. This one simply does not deserve your business.

I have been to this location several times. Once I ordered ahead on the app and was advised that the meat was not ready and they would have to make me a different sandwich, which I was completely fine with. What bothered me was how long it took her to make the sandwich because she was too busy joking around with her other co-workers. Then she "advised" me that I shouldnt always expect food to be ready on time with the App, because they get busy in-store too. I ordered my food 45 minutes in advance! Now, this past Friday I went in and had a wonderful experience. The woman working was the only one in the store. She was making sandwiches and ringing people up. She continuously apologized and really did her best to keep everyone happy. I was one of the last in line, so I was able to talk to her after. She was very friendly! Honestly I hope they begin hiring more people like her and weed out the bad ones. If they did my review would definitely be a 5.

Had to eat a cold lunch that was wrong. Called subway and they would not own up to their mistake! Like you didn’t put any cheese on it. You did not toast it. You messed up the bread. And the owner was rude to me about it. Treating me like I’m to stupid to know if there is cheese or not. Will never go back. So glad they ruined my order for my softball managers! Subway your 160 E Market St store is rude and has horrible service and does not know how to own up to their mistakes. Do these look like they have cheese on them???? They were gross because they were cold as can be!

The following are my opinions based on my experiences. Never go to this Subway in a hurry. They seem to only have one speed here and it isn't fast. I also had an issue with the sandwich artist working on my sandwich where they started asking the next person in line about their sandwich. Focus for a minute and we will get through this sandwich together.

I'm a long time Subway consumer and I'm not a very picky person. This place has some good people who work there but it is beyond a doubt the worst managed Subway I've even visited. I've seen all kinds of things here. Once they served me after touching a dirty bathroom key without changing their gloves. They once used brown paper towels when they ran out of wax paper for the oven. This caused the chemical on the paper towel to go airborne causing people's eyes and throat to burn. Mind you, this is while someone had they baby in a stroller in line. I've also seen fights break out. One time it was some con artist customers throwing drinks at the employees after they failed to get free food. It's just a shame I didn't have my phone on me to record it...

I have tried on several occassions to support this store for my own specific reasons but today was the last. I orered a salad and they sent some slices of meat on topof a bed of lettuce not the extra chees and it was over an hour and a half late. I was told by co-workers don't do, but I felt the need to support. Met the owner once and he was very nice young man to bad his business doesn't reflect that. Order regular coke sent Coke Zero, this was a horror from begining to end. So wish they cared as much about their business as I do about whom I give my business to.

Bread is typically stale so if you visit here and prefer toasted subs, you'll only need it lightly toasted. Otherwise, it's like biting into a rock. I visited today and there was a hair in my food so I requested a refund. The owner and other staff were not willing to issue a refund. Everybody knows once there's hair in your food the experience is over. Nobody knew the number to corporate - or they were unwilling to provide it. I called myself and was issued a refund immediately. A pain, nonetheless! Will not be going back to this location!
