Ordered delivery through Postmates. Delivery service was exceptional, the rolls were far from. I ordered the tuna roll and Alaska roll. Don't bother ordering the tuna roll. Hardly any fish and for over six bucks a roll, terrible. The Alaska roll was ok but was so turned off by the tuna roll, my apitite was ruined. Maybe the other food on the menu is good, but if you want sushi try somewhere else.

Horrible, horrible experience. I've gone to places that are cheaper, and I've gone to top-notch places that are 100$ per person, in both asia and in the states. I've had places that sent me to food heaven and some that made me sick. But I didn't see this one coming. It's not a high end restaurant so I didn't expect alot from it. I was just going to this place because the Buda sushi place was closed and this place was near by. First of all, we walked in, and the servers saw us, but didn't say hi nor sat us down. We stood there awkwardly for a while, then someone finally sat us down, with a crinkled menu and no water. Then we were told our waiter's going to be here soon. 10-15 minutes later he made his first appearance. We told him we'd like to have some water, then he disappeared for the longest time to come back with just water (by the way there was only ONE other table at the time so I have absolutely no clue what was going on). I finally got my order in, and he got us our food after a while. I took my first bite, and it was ok. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't good. I tried to cleanse my palette with a piece of ginger - a smell of old rotten sock attacked my nostrils. Wow imagine that, a sock-smelling ginger? What do you have to do to ginger to make it smell like sock? If you call that a talent that's some real talent there. I doubted myself for a second because honestly I have never in my entire life even heard of ginger smelling this way. I was way too grossed out but I didn't want to make a scene. The fish was a-ok but I didn't expect alot from such a store which can't even keep the ginger clean. When the waiter came to ask how the food was, I tried to say something, except he didn't wait for my answer. He just said "how's it going?" then turned right away and left us. He didn't even look at our faces, or else he would've stopped because we weren't hiding our grossed out faces. Then later he came up to us and said "how was everything? do you want your check?" - yes without listening to our answers, all in one go. So when we tried to answer the question about how was everything, he just cut us off. We told him we had something to say and stopped him from just turning away, and he finally had the chance to listen to us. We told him that the ginger smelled like old socks, and i've told him to smell it himself. He himself crinkled his nose and made a face and told me that he's going to tell the manager. I said "ok, but I want the check too because this is unacceptable. Please do tell them" and he left us, talked to some people, and came back. all by himself, no manager to say a single word of apology. All he brought was check. He said "i told the manager. They're checking the rest of the ginger stash. Have a good rest of the day" then he turned away back into his little kitchen corner without even bothering to ask if that's ok with me. I couldn't stand sitting there by then. I'm not expecting a discount, or something else, I was just hoping that the manager would at least show his/her face ( I still don't know who the manager is) and say a single word "sorry." I can't believe the service and the quality of food here. I'm the type of person who pays delivery guy tips for bringing us our goods, just to acknowledge their effort, even if they're late. We didn't leave any tip. I guess there's a first time for everything. I left the restaurant, feeling slightly sick, with the smell still in my mouth, and have wasted money.

Tteokbokki was super soft and staff were super nice. I would recommend mild for people who can handle the samyang spicy noodles (spicy noodle challenge). Yeah it really is that spicy haha.

Ms. Sue makes the best food in town. Sushi is excellent. The fried donuts and tempura is also excellent. Great places for business meetings/luncheon. Local hidden gem. You won't be disappointed in the food.

Disappointed that I spent $10 on this. My ginger salad had two hairs in it. And my spicy tuna roll had five rolls, when the menu says 6-8. Not very good quality tuna I can tell. Never again.

Okay sushi. Wasabi is very, very weak. Ichiban on the south side is a hundred times better.

The food was so so on my last visit and they were CLOSED on Friday even when I called and the recording said they were open until 10pm. A real bummer! UPDATE: OUT OF BUSINESS!

Not the best sushi ever, will not satisfy a serious craving for it either.
