Best mountain bike trail around central Indiana, period. This place has a mixture of everything for different styles of riding. The local crew keeps this park up to par with regular and routine maintenance and it shows. This is a must go to park if you're around Central Indy, don't hesitate. I personally can't wait to go back!

The best place in INDY to do some hiking, biking, or just strolling along. Definitely make a stop here. Enjoy!!!

The trails are a lot of fun with great variety in challenge and scenery. The playground needs and update and a little more maintenance to be a place for most of my kids. Baseball fields are in good condition and maintained well.

A large trail system for hiking, biking and horseback riding. We were the only people there when we arrived. The actual park area is run down. Old furniture was dumped near our parking spot. The trails are worn, but not well marked, so you will need a hiking app on your phone to find your way around. Not a bad place to walk your dog. There are many other more impressive parks with walking trails a short drive from this one. There is a port-a-potty, but no real restrooms.

Great place to get peace and quiet close to the city. The downside...they have a port-o-potty, but that's really the only negative thing I could possibly say!

Wife and I took a chilly January afternoon walk. This was our first visit. There are a lot of trails but very few of them are labelled. Lots of mountain bikes and by the river fair amount of trash that I think it's just wash up from the river. I bet in the Spring and in the fall this place is absolutely gorgeous. We will check it out again later in the year.

I highly suggest this park! I’m in the area for a few days of work. This is an enjoyable walking park the trails are shared with mountain bikes mostly but easy and not very long.

Great mountain bike trails for any skill level, from beginner with flat, easy to ride trails; to advanced with large jump and downhill trails and nice technical sections.

Very nice little park, in a location you would not expect! The trails are easy, but fascinating enough to make it fun! They could use more signage though, especially when there's more than one way to turn. Definitely plan to be a more frequent visitor.

Close to home.. nice trails. Just wish the mountain bikes would stay on bike designated trails and not be on the hiking only trails. Guess they can't read. πŸ€”

Great for your lowkey hike. The area surrounding the park is nothing special and the actual park area which includes a playground, baseball fields and other parking areas is run down. There is also a big recycling dumpster on the property. OTHERWISE, the dirt/gravel trail system was great. The trails are poorly marked as in there is no actual map provided when you are there. So once we got a grasp of it from my Strava walking app, we walked the perimeter which was about a 3 mile walk. There are a lot of shoot offs and short cuts from each trail. Widened of trails vary. We enjoyed walking by the white river for a good portion of it. The parking lot was packed when we came at 12pm on a Sunday but there is additional parking, it’s just further away. The place also allows horses and bikes. There were a good amount of bikers, but the space was truly big enough that it didn’t seem busy at all. Do be aware of the bikers. You could walk all of the trails in a matter of a couple hours. Nice gem of a park in between Greenwood and downtown. Restrooms available.

Natural forest feel park, one of the best in and around Indy.

Went for the mountain bike trails, but ran out of daylight dealing with a pesky flat tire, seems really nice, the playground is standard, there are ball fields you can use. What bit of trails we went on were very nice. You can find them on the app Trailforks.

One of my favorite places in the city, just enough hills to make it feel like a state park. Nice place for hiking and/or trail running. Watch out for the bikes!!

I grew up with this place! It has a nostalgic value for me so I have to rate it high. But with that being said, it has some nice easy trails for beginner hikes and kid friendly sections. Great pavilions to rent for family gatherings/cookouts. Also, there's a park in the center for making the kiddos tuckered out for a quiet ride home. They also have fantastic events based on season. My personal favorite is the bug festival.

This is a beautiful park with lots of trails in which we take our dog with us to go hiking and view the scenery. There are many different trails, all numbered and labeled as some are for horse riding, hiking and some for bicycling only. Our boxer dog loves going for walks here and we even get to walk down alongside the White River with some of the trails. There’s also a large park for children to play. I highly recommend this park for anyone who enjoys and can respect nature!
