This park is well shaded on the benches and tables. There is a little library and baseball field. The park is clean and surrounded by trees.

Great little hidden gem of a park. Has a toddler area, bigger kid area (both with rubber mulch bases), swings, benches, shaded picnic tables, one pavilion, plus an open field/ kick ball/ baseball field behind the park.

This quiet little spot in Broad Ripple is perfect for little people who like to climb and play. There is shaded seating and even a shelter. The property has a phone number posted where you can Call and reserve space. I took my 17 month old and she squealed with delight as she swung, slid and spun at this park. Other older tots arrived after us and there was plenty of room for all to stay busy and have a good time. I highly recommend going early in the day, if you can.

Opti Park was recommended to us by some Midtown parents when I asked for a climbing park for a 3 year old, and I'm happy we opted to check it out! We happened to go during their Family Fun Night, which was an very nice bonus. They had cash food and ice cream trucks, free balloons from the very talented balloon lady, and free popcorn and water from the Optimist Club. There were also a couple of other booths from neighborhood organizations and a DJ. The park itself is clean and well-maintained, and perfect for a toddler to run around and climb to their heart's content. Swings, slides, balance beam, etc., all standard fare, and nice layout, so you can see your little as they wander around. There are multiple benches, picnic tables and a covered area, as well. A very nice little spot.

A great destination in Broad Ripple for kids of all ages. As a bonus, if you're walking from the south, Cake Bake is on the way. The playground is a good size and there are plenty of picnic tables to eat lunch or dinner. There is a baseball field and a generous outfield, along with plenty of parking at the park.

A great little park tucked in the back of Broad Ripple by the Art Center. It's a small park, mainly used for playing sports, baseball, and playing with your kids on the jungle gym. It's not a hiking park. There's a small parking lot out front, and there are also areas to park by the Art Center in the back of the park. Sometimes, when there's not a pandemic, the park has great little day and weekend festivals. Opti Park is a charming, little park in the heart of Broad Ripple. 💙✌

The playground is very nice! It has some interesting equipment, like the spinning flower seat, the green catepillar-looking jungle gym, and some disc/pole stepping thing. The mulch and spongy ground was soft to avoid injuries, there was a smaller playset for toddlers and a big playset for older kids, 2 baby swings and 2 regular size swings. Plenty of benches around the playground for parents to sit in. A clean portapotty that came in handy! A parking lot and also street parking available. The 6-year-old I came with wanted to visit it twice in one day!

I love opti park. I've been going there since I was 15 (30 now). They have redone the play park and it is awesome. Lots of fun for me and my two year old.

Maybe the best kid’s park in Indy

Nice little park tucked away on a residential side street in Broad Ripple. I found it interesting that this is private owned and maintained by the local optimist club. I attended a festival here and had a great time.
