Upon walking in with my daughter, the only employees I saw were sitting at a table on their phones against the window near the counter. I approached the counter, looked up at the menu and waited for some help because it appeared that most of the bagel varieties were not readily available. Eventually when I realized no one was coming, I looked down and saw a self ordering tablet (1 of 2 that was working). I poked around on it a bit, but still had questions before placing my order. I offered to let the woman waiting behind me go first, since nobody was going out of their way to help her out either, but she also said she'd prefer to be helped by an actual human being. So I proceeded to waive someone down to ask if any more fresh bagels would be coming out soon, since it was around 11:15 am, right before the lunch rush. Answer... No. I went ahead and settled for a few of the bagels that were available and ordered a smoothie. While the woman did end up giving us a second cup with extra smoothie in it (about 1/3rd full), the bagels didn't seem very fresh and I can't help but think at least some of the employees could have been doing more. We were the only 3 customers/people in sight, but yet no one's manning the counter (or making fresh bagels I presume), all of the napkin dispensers were empty, there was trash laying around, and even though I'm sure they were about to get hit with the lunch rush, they're sitting around on their phones? Unless it was during shift change or something, I guess I just expected more...

We have eaten in,carried out and ordered drive-thru at this location. In the past you could always depend on inconsistency and so so service and food. But now and my fingers are crossed, I don’t want to jinx anything. I want to say the food was the absolute best we’ve ever had here. I got my favorite the Bacon Turkey Bravo. A whole sandwich is 1000 calories and costs 11.69. It’s piled high with antibiotics free oven-roasted turkey breast, applewood smoked bacon, smoked Gouda, emerald greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, Some signature sauce, salt and pepper on Tomato Basil bread. Excellent! The Wife got her favorite the Toasted Steak and White Cheddar a whole sandwich is 940 calories and costs 13.19 This is grass-fed Beef, aged White Cheddar, pickled red onions and horseradish sauce on Artisan bread. It’s like a Philly cheese steak. We have gotten these sandwiches many times here but we both agree everything was top-notch today. Thanks!

This place is HORRIBLE I come here literally EVERY DAY for the last 30 days for virtual work (check my Panera Card for verification). The service is usually good and the workers are pretty good. However, TONIGHT, it was HORRIBLE! I ordered the Tuna fish with the tomato soup. I found this random particle in my soup. When I approached the servers (Tamisha Barker (with the B) (imagine the tone), she looked at me and did nothing!! First off she rinsed it off and went to another person to ask then what it was. They both had no clue. Then she turned to me and asked me, "do you want it?" UMMM excuse me ma'am????? Do I want the particle that I found in YOUR SOUP?!" Just down right rude and disrespectful. I asked her why she didn't offer any remedy she said she doesn't know. I asked her why did she give me the particle back, she said "so you can do what you gotta do" um ma'am???!!! This is giving very much ghetto!!! The day staff are amazing and the manager is really nice. Again, I'm here literally EVERY DAY as I am working remotely for work and have been relocated to the area. On average I spend about $20 daily. And with the way the world is set up, I don't have money to just throw around....Gas is almost $5. The attitude was unnecessary and I think that is what made it worse!!! The way my stomach is set up right now I feel so sick. Will check back in tomorrow with how I truly feel and reach out to cooperate.

We had such a nice trip to Indy. Everyone was very friendly in the Big city but not here. Lots of attitude. Orders were wrong. When they called my name the lady behind the counter was rude and order was wrong! Panera has a superior product but this place is poorly run so do yourself a favor go elsewhere. Save your money

The chipotle chicken avacado melt had so much potential but the lack of meat made it very disappointing. It was basically an avacado and cheese sandwich. The strawberry frozen lemonade had huge chunks of ice, making it impossible to drink through a straw. The taste was good and the employees were nice enough. Just an "ok" experience.

Panera Bread is dedicated to being an ally to visitors, from focusing on high-quality, clean products to offering cuisine in a warm, friendly setting. That involves creating a menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches that we are proud to provide to our customers' families. To eat healthily, you don't have to make sacrifices. Panera Bread Indianapolis may have everything you need with warmth and welcome, whether you want to drop in and enjoy a coffee and complementary Wi-Fi or order online and pick up something quickly utilizing Rapid Pick-Up. Panera Bread is a chain of restaurants that serves bread. "As it should be," says the narrator. It's been a fantastic experience . The environment is warm and inviting. Amazing coffee and beverage selection, as well as cuisine and service. The staff is incredibly knowledgable and provides excellent advice.

Decent food, consistently terrible service over the last year or two. Employees are visibly bothered by interacting with customers. Orders are wrong more often than not but today…the coffee came out and the food didn’t. I checked in once after my pick up order was supposed to be ready 10 minutes prior and was told it was being made, 10 minutes later no one had a clue where it was. When asking if they could pull the items together, I was told they simply didn’t have the order and was directed to cancel my order. I keep giving this location another chance but they always remind me why it’s the worst Panera location I’ve ever been to.

Normally I go thru drive thru but decided to sit down today. I ‘d get my cream of tomato but I wanted to try creamy broccoli soup. It comes with a choice of baguette, chips or apple. Delicious! Certainly couldn’t do too healthy so I choose the bread. Gotta have my 🧈 butter. It was very good and Hits the spot when cold outside.

This is NOT a $21 "group order" of soup. Baby bottle of water for scale. I paid $57 for maybe 4 small servings of soup and a sandwich today. One of the worst values in fast food these days. Speaking of fast food, it also was not fast. There were only 3 cars on front of me in the drive through and it took 25 minutes. So long that the ice cream we had bought at the store before the drive through became little tubs of water.

This location has really started to go downhill. Food is expensive, it’s not very clean, and it appears to be falling apart.

Everything was fresh and the avocado sauce is 🔥 The strawberry lemon mint drink will have you wired. You won’t be disappointed. The atmosphere was peaceful with the fireplace going and smooth music playing in the background.

My daughter & I love love the fresh food at this place! Excellent service & delicious food again like always. I enjoyed a pepperoni flatbread pizza. My dtr had a turkey sandwich on that yummy tomato basil bread with a blueberry muffin & apple. For drinks we had loaded lemonade and a frozen strawberry lemonade that was made fresh. We will definitely be back & soon, Thanks for the A-1 service today!

So hot in here you are sweating. Asked if they could turn the air on or the heat off. Finally went outside to try and get some relief while I waited on a download and the patio door was locked to outside use. Asked an employee if they could unlock the door as my computer was on a table inside and that never happened. This place really has gone down hill. Used to be a good place to eat and get some work done. They need better management.

Both of my smoothies were watery and there shouldn't be ice cubes in a blended drink. Everything else was fine.

I used to love Panera but it seems like their quality and commitment to service is no longer existent. I placed a delivery order and after waiting over an hour for it to be delivered, no part of the order was correct. The sandwich was wrong. The soup was wrong, plus wrong size and no bread bowl and the other soup also had no bread bowl. When I called and asked to speak to someone I was put on hold and no one ever got back in the line.

Went with a few friends for coffee and tea. Two ordered food. One person wasn't tech savvy and did NOT want to order at the kiosk. Was told she would have to. We had to help her out. There was no one ordering in front of us or waiting behind us. The two who ordered food got it in about 10 minutes. There was no coffee in the urns in the lobby. When we asked the people behind the counter for coffee they didn't believe the urns were out. One person went to check as if they didn't believe us. She went back and told them behind the counter and then someone else came out to check. Finally gave my friend coffee from behind the counter. I got tea and the hot water in the lobby was lukewarm. My friend who got food thought it was good.

One of the busier locations I’ve been too. Communication is a bit choppy, but I was still able to get a decent service. Would try it again. Try the Mac and Cheese and the large kitchen cookie.

Normally a good experience but not last night. It took me asking when my order would be ready 30 minutes after ordering to find out they hadn't started my order. Stating they had too many online orders. That explained the steady traffic of people picking up food but the customers in the restaurant had to be kept waiting. I wanted to eat there but they just gave me my order to go, so I left. A serious let down.

I’m not a regular because I’m very structured and I always go to the same old places, but today I had a busy day, was close there, traffic was bad and I decided to get my lunch from here. Great experience! The cashier, Rocio, patiently explained the options and food was fresh and delicious. I’ll be visiting more for sure. I’m glad to have incorporated one new place to eat from.

This location is the worst!!! And management is not any better!! Who gets soup with out crackers or a spoon? Threw the crumbles bag at me With out a word. This isn’t the first time , but I tried to give them The benefit of the doubt….. they continue to prove why I will NEVER visit this location (or possibly any other Panera again) Beyond disappointed!! Wont spend my money on sub par food and service again! And the chicken noodle soup is just gross!

There is a serious need for customer service training at this location. In general, the initial friendliness, positive and helpful demeanor and greeting customers to feel welcomed is lacking all too often. I have dined here frequently due to the convenience from family nearby, but spending money at a place that takes customers for granted won't continue.

I read reviews and was hesitant to go there with 2 friends. However we were very satisfied. The menu and food quality was reasonable for the price. The employees were friendly and efficient.
