Manager is not friendly and constantly influences a negative environment. Everytime I come in, he targets and antagonizes pretty girls. Has put his hands on girls and has a temper. Will not be supporting this establishment any further.

Place doesn’t let you in if you don’t have a zipper on your shorts now - Jon Taffer needs to visit this place on the Bar Rescue TV show. Their bouncers are clearly wannabe cops who couldn’t pass the test

The “manager” a grown 30 something man at this bar is physical with women, calls them derogatory names and has zero respect. Do yourself a favor and go to a bar where the managers can act their age.

The bouncer is a total creep. I'd suggest any other ladies steer clear. If you aren't receptive to his flirting then he throws you out which honestly might be a blessing with the vibes he gives off. Do yourself a favor and pick a safer place to have fun.

I would seriously give NO stars, if it were available. Security wasn't smart enough to discern my wife only had 1 beer all night. They wouldn't let her in after friends spent money to get in to meet up with her there. I (the husband) spent money there to get inside and get drinks. The security officer had no absolute reason why he wouldn't allow my wife inside other than "personal reasons", I wish the officer would provide legitimate reasons but he couldn't. Not professional at all

If I could rate no stars I would. The bouncer is a an absolute perv. Multiple police reports have been filed against him INCLUDING MY OWN. This man attempted to feel me up at 17 years old and I’ve heard MANY similar stories. I’m currently 23 years old and this man continues to harass me every time he sees me out at the other bars owned by the same as rock lobster. The most recent time he stood next to me at average joe’s and told the bartender “that girl accused me of touching her when she was 17 and tried to ruin my life” I’m sorry but if a man ever said that to me I would immediately think RED FLAG!!! I completely ignored his attempt in intimidating me and kept it moving. This man is a serial perv and shouldn’t have access to young drunk women in bars. Who knows what else he has done. Absolutely foul.

Used to allow tank tops and now randomly they don’t. Bouncer word for word told me they wouldn’t let me in because I “don’t have tits”. LMFAO, what a clown. Much better before covid. They try too hard here. Would give 0 stars if I could. Won’t be back.

My friends and I always make it to Rock Lobster whenever we make it out to Broadripple. It's usually our first and last stop. The servers are very attentive and polite. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to receive my drinks no matter how busy the place it. By design, Rock Lobster's atmosphere is great. It's a very large building that has about 4 different "rooms." There is a place to dance, quiet enough spaces to hold a conversation and another great outdoor area. The bouncers are very friendly and never give off any bad vibes. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that like to get crazy and have a good time with a large group of friends. HOWEVER, the bathrooms are quite possibly the most disgusting I have ever seen in a public place. Quite honestly, I've lived in dorms that have 10x more sanitary bathrooms. I'm not talking about filth that accumulates throughout a busy Friday or Saturday night, I'm talking about filth on top of old filth. I would avoid the bathrooms at all cost!

This place is great for drunken dancing. It is dark, really loud, and has a smoke machine. The elevated dance floor is tiny, and great for dancing with strangers! Honestly, some of my best memories of dancing in Broad Ripple are here, late at night. Wait to come here after midnight, and once you have already had a couple of drinks.

Losers wouldn’t let my brother in because he had a tank top on? After looking inside I was glad.

I like clubs that aren't only focused on the dance floor. This place has several other areas away from the dance floor and multiple bars placed throughout. The drinks are priced the same as every other club. It is great visit in the summer when the outdoor back patio is open.
