Sarah T Bolton Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 Nice park with benches, bird houses in a poetry garden, playground, baseball field, dog park, pavilions, restrooms and it sits adjacent to the Franciscan Walking Trail. My only complaint is the lack of signage. There are no signs to direct you to the trail, the playground, etc. The only sign points... People often mention park, trail, area, play, playground, baseball,

Nice park with benches, bird houses in a poetry garden, playground, baseball field, dog park, pavilions, restrooms and it sits adjacent to the Franciscan Walking Trail. My only complaint is the lack of signage. There are no signs to direct you to the trail, the playground, etc. The only sign points you toward the dog park (which looked very nice and appears to be quite popular). We spent about 25 minutes in search of Lick Creek and the walking trail and finally noticed the road that curved behind the ball field led to another area of the park that joins with the creek and trail. Overall, this would be the perfect park if the signage was improved.

Always an inviting adventure. The new trail has the potential to be both relaxing and beneficial. Looking forward to the removal of invasive plants and the addition of natives with signage and bird feeding stations.

Nice park for a walk or to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. The Park has many areas where you can picnic. There are several gazebos to rent for family parties or use if not rented. The kids can enjoy the playground equipment near the gazebos. Lick Creek winds through the Park and offer several area to sit and enjoy the sound of moving water. There are a couple basketball courts, a baseball field, areas to play soccer or football. There is a small dog park. The Firework display put on by The Promoters Club each year is very nice.

Sarah T Bolton Park as a whole is fine, but the dog park is a mess. The mud is forgivable since any dog park that has real grass will eventually turn to mud anyway, but most of the dog owners don't pick up after their dog. Each time I go in I end up picking up 6+ piles that aren't from my dog. This morning there were more than 20 piles. I've been to free dog parks that were cleaner and better taken care of than this one and feel like I wasted my money.

Just a very peaceful park to bring a lunch or walk your dog. I feel 100% safe bringing my great neices. I love Beech Grove very nice and very clean. Just an all over family park and you feel safe.

The park has a trail on the outer park that takes you though surrounding neighborhood. If you are a beginner with trail it is a great starter trail. Everything is spaced out here and there are basket ball courts and a baseball diamond.

I love going here with the kids and our fur babies! They have two big parks for kids, trails to walk on and a covered picnic area for parties or meals! Then the doggy park is right there too just walk in the gate and let them play. The other dog owners are always responsible and respectful!

This is a very nice, very under utilized community park. This park is connected to the Franciscan Trail which is over 2 miles of trail that connects different parts of Beech grove. The park has basketball courts, baseball field, children's play area, dog park and the trail. The only thing stoping me from giving the park 5 stars is that it needs a community pool.

It's a beautiful park. It has a play ground, a volleyball court with sand, restrooms, and lots of space for a picnic. They have three shelters with lots of room for seating. There was probably near a hundred of us and still had plenty of room for other people. I will definitely be going back.

Fourth of July festivities began at 530. Parking wasn't bad at all. Parked pretty close. A few blocks away. It was super packed. Brought my daughter and her three friends. The police and the volunteers were all so helpful and kind. One of the girls lost her phone. But park was packed. Awesome fireworks

The park is beautiful with a wonderful trail running aside a creek, absolutely lovely. However I think some people live in the wood area by playground. Every time I bring kids to play, there are people cleaning up in bathroom and coming and going into woods. Creepy.

Lots of riff raff in this park, syringes have been found in mulch, bathrooms that need to be cleaned more often ... And playground equipment is lacking imagination ... Picnic tables have some serious art on them that isn't what you would like to see when sitting down with children ...

Good place to walk, but bathrooms have not been unlocked for couple months now. Nice little park for small kiddos.

The park has lots of space, covered pavilions basketball courts, baseball field, two children's play areas and a large fenced dog play area. It seems to be well maintained but today there was quite a bit of trash near the covered pavilions.

It is very nice neat small park with play ground and big shelter - area is mostly shady. There is also a little wooded area and a dog park.

Nice park with plenty to do. The trail is not clearly marked so you have to look for it if you have never been there before. It has basketball goals, baseball, kids playground, and a dog park. Also a place with bird houses. There is a bike path type trail next to the creek that goes all the way to another park about a mile away. No running water in one of the rest rooms. There is electricity in the pavilions.
